        지하집모기 (Culex pipiens molestus)의 방제를 위한 환경친화적 살충제의 생물검정

        몇 가지 환경 친화적 살충제를 사용하여 지하집모기 유충에 대한 생물활성을 조사하였다. 본 실험에 사용한 약제로는 키틴합성저해제인 Novaluron, 탈피촉진제인 Methoxyfenozide, 탈피억제제인 Pyriproxyfen 그리고 지질생합성저해제인 Spiromesifen을 사용하였다. 지하집모기의 유충에 대한 약제별 반수치사농도는 각각 0.00039, 0.07193, 0.65006 그리고 0.04839 ppm으로 키틴합성저해제인 Novaluron 가 가장 낮은 농도를 보였다. 모기 유충방제에 필요한 효과적인 약제 처리시기를 결정하기 위하여 모기 유충의 령기에 따른 약제 감수성 실험을 실시한 결과, Novaluron 은 부화 후 2 일차, 4 일차, 7 일차 및 10 일차에서 각각 100%, 84.5%, 71% 그리고 48.5% 의 방제가로 IGR 약제의 특정이 나타났다. 또한, Methoxyfenozide, Pyriproxyfen 그리고 Spiromesifen은 부화 후 2 일차에서 80% 이하의 살충효과로 Novaluron 과 비교하여 낮은 방제가를 나타냈었다. 한편 모기유충에 대한 효과적인 약제 노출시간을 알아본 결과 Novaluron은 100% 살충효과를 나타내는데 3시간이 필요하였고, 나머지 약제들은 12 시간 이상의 노출시간에서도 100% 방제효과를 나타내지 못하였다. Bioassay of mosquito, Culex pipiens molestus, larva was investigated by several environment-friendly insecticides. These insecticides were Novaluron as chitin synthesis inhibitor, Metho-xyfenozide as ecdysone agonist, Pyriproxyfen as juvenile hormone mimic, and Spiromesifen as lipid biosynthesis inhibitor. The 50% lethal concentration $(LC_{50})$ of these insecticides were 0.00039, 0.07193, 0.65006 and 0.04839 ppm, respectively. Novaluron has lower concentration than any other insecticide. To determine the treatment time against larval stages, insecticides were applied to different larval stages of C. pipiens molestus. Mortality ratios of mosquito larva treated with Novaluron were 100.0, 84.5, 71.0 and 48.5% on 2, 4, 7 and 10 days after hatching from eggs, respectively. Otherwise, with the other insecticides, mortality ratios were under 80% with 2 days old larva. When exposure periods were tested to 3 or 4 days old larva against 4 insecticides, at least 3 hours were needed to 100% control effect against Novaluron, and over 12 hours with other insecticides.

        하이브리드 차량용 견인전동기의 절연성능 비교분석

        The object of this paper is to acquire the data related to insulation evaluation of hybrid vehicle traction motors. We made a comparative analysis on Insulation Resistance (IR), Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), and Polarization Index (PI) of the motor stators. The experiment was carried out according to IEEE Std. 43 and IEC 60085-1 for insulation resistance test standard of rotating machinery. Test voltage of 500 V was applied between a phase and the enclosure. The IR and the DAR of used motors were lower than those of new ones. The DAR and the PI were $0.92{\sim}1.02$ and $0.74{\sim}1.1$, respectively and the result did not meet the recommendation basis 2 for insulation level H. From the experimental results, we could prepare parameters and basis for insulation evaluation of the traction motor stator by the comparative analysis of short-time insulation resistance changes, DAR and PI.

        국내 토양으로 분리된 Bacillus thuriniensis subsp. kurstaki CAB133균주의 생물학적 특성

        국내의 난방제 해충에 선택적으로 생물활성을 나타내는 균주를 선발하기 위하여 작물재배 지역의 토양으로부터 채취한 115개의 토양샘플 중 46개의 Bacillus thuringiensis 균주를 분리하였다. 이러한 B. thuringiensis균주를 사용하여 난방제 농업해충에 생물활성을 검정한 결과 배추좀나방(Plutella xylostella)에 CAB119을 포함한 35균주, 파밤나방(Spodoptera litura)에는 CAB128, CAB141균주가, 담배거세미나방(Spodoptera exigua)은 CAB133과 CAB159균주가 효과를 나타냈으며 CAB162균주는 3종류의 모든 해충에 높은 활성을 보였다. 분리된 B. thuringiensis CAB133 균주는 H serotype에 의한 혈청학적 동정과 SDS-PAGE를 통한 독소 단백질 패턴에서 B. thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki (3abc)로 동정되었다. 담배거세미나방 2령 유충에 대한 활성검정의 결과 B. thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki (3abc) CAB133, CAB162의 두 균주에 대한 $LD_{50}$ 값은 각각 0.089, $3.144{\mu}g/ml$로 높은 활성을 나타났다. 담배거세미나방의 령기에 따른 생물실험에서 CAB133 균주 $1.5{\times}10^6(cfu/ml)$에서 1령의 경우 3일, 2령은 5일에 100%의 사충율을 보였다. 담배거세미나방의 경우 B. thuringiensis를 섭식 후 먹기를 중단하여 성장이 멈추면서 $5{\times}7$일 후에 사망하였다. 그러므로 B. thuringiensis의 결정성독소단백질$(1.267{\mu}g/ml)$를 섭식하고 성장하지 못하는 담배거세미나방 유충의 무게는 대조군보다 5일후 약 30배정도 차이로 나타나서 사망하였다. To screen highly active Bacillus thuringiensis isolates against Spodoptera litura (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae), 46 B. thuringiensis was isolated from 115 samples obtained from several crop soils. Especially, B. thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki CAB133 and CAB162 isolates showed 100% mortality against S. litura. $LD_{50}$ values of CAB 133, CAB162 and HD-1 strains of B. thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki were 0.089, 3.144 and $0.513{\mu}g/ml$ against 2nd larva of S. litura, respectively. The weight of 3rd larva of S. litura which were fed crystal inclusion protein $(1.267{\mu}g/ml)$ with B. thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki CAB133 was about 30 times lass than control group. CAB133 and CAB 162 strains of B. thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki which were taken a highly toxity against S. litura were analyzed by SDS-PAGE, and estimated the molecular weight of the Cry proteins. Their serological identification by H serotypes were showed B. thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki (3abc) type.

Cyber 세계와 현실 세계를 연결시키는 ICT 비즈니스 업계에서는 Cyber 업무와 현실의 업무를 연결시켜야 한다. Cyber 업무와 현실의 업무의 연결 방법 중 한 가지로 AR명함을 사용하는 것이다. AR명함을 스마트폰으로 인식하면 3D 캐릭터가 등장하여 명함 주인공을 소개하도록 한다. 또한, AR 명함은 사업자의 상품·제품·서비스가 AR로 반영되어 제품, 서비스 등에 대한 홍보가 가능하도록 한다. 연결된 유무선 5G 통신을 이용하면, 실시간 전자상거래도 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 Source Coding으로 AR명함 제작하고 AR 명함 platform을 설계할 것이다. The technological development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is accelerating the development of the world and society. Fourth industrial technology is connected to Cyber World to develop national and social infrastructure. The application of the fourth industrial technology can create Cyber-city and Cyber-life systems. In the ICT business industry that connects Cyber with the real world, we need to connect Cyber with real-life work. It is to use AR business cards as one of the ways to connect Cyber business with real business. When an AR business card is recognized as a smartphone, a 3D character appears to introduce the main character of the business card. In addition, AR business cards are reflected in AR for product and service of business operators, enabling promotion of products, services, etc. Using connected wired and wireless 5G communication, real-time e-commerce is also possible. In this paper, AR business card will be produced with Source Coding and AR business card platform will be designed.

        적콜라비 새싹채소 종자에서 분리한 Escherichia coli strain RC-4-D의 생장예측모델

        본 연구는 시중 유통되고 있는 새싹채소 재배용 적콜라비 종자에서 분리한 E. coli strain RC-4-D의 생장예측모델을 개발하기 위해 수행되었다. 각 온도조건(10, 15, 20, 25, $30^{\circ}C$) 별로 적콜라비 중 E. coli strain RC-4-D 밀도 변화를 조사하였고 Baranyi model을 1차 생장예측모델로 이용하였고 각 온도별로 최대생장률(${\mu}max$)과 $10^{\circ}C$를 제외한 유도기(LPD) 값을 도출하였다. E. coli strain RC-4-D의 최대생장률에 대한 2차 생장예측모델로써 suboptimal Ratkowsky square-root, suboptimal Huang square-root, suboptimal Arrhenius-type 세 종류의 모델을 비교하였다. 모델 적합성 검정 결과, suboptimal Huang square-root 모델이 정확도가 가장 높고 suboptimal Ratkowsky square-root 모델이 편차가 가장 적은 것으로 나타났다. 종합적으로, RMSE가 0.100, $A_f$가 1.255, $B_f$가 0.999인 suboptimal Ratkowsky square-root 모델이 온도의 영향을 설명하는 가장 적합한 2차 생장예측 모델인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 개발한 모델은 적콜라비 새싹채소 생산에 있어서 E. coli의 생장을 예측하고 미생물 위해성평가를 수행하는데 활용될 것으로 기대된다. This study was conducted to develop a predictive model for the growth of Escherichia coli strain RC-4-D isolated from red kohlrabi sprout seeds. We collected E. coli kinetic growth data during red kohlrabi seed sprouting under isothermal conditions (10, 15, 20, 25, and $30^{\circ}C$). Baranyi model was used as a primary order model for growth data. The maximum growth rate (${\mu}max$) and lag-phase duration (LPD) for each temperature (except for $10^{\circ}C$ LPD) were determined. Three kinds of secondary models (suboptimal Ratkowsky square-root, Huang model, and Arrhenius-type model) were compared to elucidate the influence of temperature on E. coli growth rate. The model performance measures for three secondary models showed that the suboptimal Huang square-root model was more suitable in the accuracy (1.223) and the suboptimal Ratkowsky square-root model was less in the bias (0.999), respectively. Among three secondary order model used in this study, the suboptimal Ratkowsky square-root model showed best fit for the secondary model for describing the effect of temperature. This model can be utilized to predict E. coli behavior in red kohlrabi sprout production and to conduct microbial risk assessments.

        아주대학교병원 소아치과에서 시행된 전신마취 하 치과치료에 관한 실태조사

        Background: General anesthesia is a necessary method for successful dental treatment for children, compromised patients and the disabled who have difficulty in cooperation. The aim of this study was to assess dental treatment under general anesthesia at the department of pediatric dentistry, Ajou university hospital on children and the disabled. Methods: 217 general anesthesia from June 2010 to June 2014 were assessed for this study. Patient's distribution, treatment pattern, reasons for general anesthesia, distribution of combined operation, duration of anesthesia, treatment, frequency of general anesthesia and agents for general anesthesia were examined. Results: The proportion of male, the disabled were higher and above 19 years age group was the highest. Combined operation with otolaryngology was highest. Main reasons for general anesthesia were mental retardation for the disabled and uncooperative behavior for the non-disabled. Percentage of restorative treatment was the highest. Average anesthesia duration was 186 minutes and average treatment time was 143 minutes. Most of the airway was maintained by nasotracheal intubation and induction was done by sevoflurane. Conclusions: General anesthesia for dental treatment has been increasing for children, the disabled who have a difficulty of cooperation. The demand for dental treatment under general anesthesia is expected to continuously increase. Therefore, continuous research and studies should be done to establish efficiency and safety of general anesthesia and provide an enhanced environment for treatment.

        『빌리 버드』에 드러난 역사의 진실 : 제국주의적 이데올로기 비판

        이 논문의 목적은 역사비평의 관점에서 『빌리 버드』에서 드러나는 역사의 층위, 곧 멜빌이 말하는 순백한 진실의 의미를 살펴보는 것이다. 이 소설에서 멜빌은 1842년 선상에서 세 명의 군인들을 처형한 미국의 소머스호 반란사건에 대한 진실을 말하고자 했다. 이를 위해 그는 영국에서 일어난 두 가지 역사적인 사건을 차용한다. 그는 18세기 말 프랑스 혁명정신의 영향으로 일어난 스핏헤드 소요사건과 노어반란 사건을 소재로 하여 가상의 벨리포텐트호 반란사건을 형상화한다. 멜빌은 이 사건에서 비어 함장을 제국주의의 집행자로, 헌병하사관 클래가트를 그 하수인으로, 수병 빌리를 제국주의의 희생자로 그리면서, 제국주의의 허구성을 비판한다. 이어서 그는 벨리포텐트호 반란사건과 소머스호 반란사건을 대조시켜 19세기 중후반부터 제국주의국가로 변모해 가는 자신의 조국인 미국의 모순적 실상을 반성적으로 보여 주고 있다. 특히, 멜빌은 법과 언론 그리고 역사까지도 제국주의 사회체제를 강화하기 위한 지배이데올로기의 도구로 사용되고 있음을 밝힌다. This paper aims to examine the unvarnished historical truth revealed in Billy Budd, Sailor from the historical criticism's point of view. In this novel, Melville desires to speak the unvarnished truth of the Somers Affair which three navy men accused of plotting mutiny were hanged in 1842. Melville, however, shapes the fictional Bellipotent Mutiny by using the Spithead Commotion and the Nore Mutiny of England in 1797 as its subject matters. These two historical events occurred as a result of the French revolutionary spirit. Melville tries to show the truth of the mutiny on board the Bellipotent. And then he criticizes the falsehood of imperialism, describing Captain Vere as a British Empire's executor, Claggart, a master-at-arms as its perpetrator, and Billy Budd, a sailor as its victim. Melville introspectively shows the contradictory American realities that began to change into the imperialistic America from the middle of the 19th century, contrasting The Somers Affair with the Bellipotent Mutiny. More importantly, he uncovers that the law, the speech, and even history are used as the tools of a dominant ideology to strengthen the imperialistic social system.

        『압살롬, 압살롬!』에 드러난 미국의 자화상

        The mountains of West Virginia are typical of liberalism; the plains of Virginia of paternalism. Sutpen is insulted by a black slave in front of the porch of a big mansion owned by a rancher at Tidewater, which reveals the conflict between liberalism and paternalism. After this incident, Sutpen sets a life goal with the negative elements hidden in these two ideologies. In paternalism, the ruling class hide their ruthless avarice by establishing a virtuous leader in the name of helping the foolish people; in liberalism, under the disguise of equality, they hide their avarice by dominating the Other. Sutpen sets an inhuman and ruthless code in order to achieve his greedy desire and proceeds to carry out a grand design of building his kingdom. In Haiti, he experiences the "freedom" of colonialism where he can rule over colonial slaves on the basis of white supremacy, the colonial and imperialist ideology. At Jefferson, Sutpen's dream for the rule of the upper class is completed with the use of slavery he experienced first hand in Haiti. Symbolically, Sutpen's greedy desire and ruthlessness are sown in the mountains of West Virginia, their buds begin to sprout in the plains of Virginia, their boughs and bark are created in Haiti, and the blossoms are in full bloom at Jefferson. Sutpen hates the class system of race and social status in the beginning, but he begins to long for class segregation. Finally, he adopts the desire to be one of the ruthless ruling class. The primal force with which Sutpen pushes to build his own kingdom without any shame, though he reveals ruthlessness and greedy desire, is the spirit of autonomy and protestant labor ethics, characteristics of liberalism. However, it is noticeable that this novel focuses on Sutpen's fall rather than on his success. The narrator, Quentin, regards Sutpen's fall as deriving from inhuman avarice and ruthlessness hidden in ideologies such as liberalism, paternalism, white supremacy, and colonial imperialism, as mentioned above. Thus, Quentin shows that Sutpen's inhuman and ruthless behaviour cannot be justified and beautified in terms of his autonomy and protestant labor ethics. The six spiritual elements-liberalism, paternalism, colonial imperialism, white supremacy, the spirit of autonomy and protestant labor ethics-coincidentally correspond with the resources for America's foundation and expansion. In a sense, Sutpen's history symbolizes that of America and his nature may represent that of America as a nation. In particular, Quentin, a member of WASP, having conscientious intellectuality, reconstructs America's one hundred year history up to 1910 in the life of Sutpen, Quentin depicts the self-portrait of America in Sutpen who achieves his success with avarice and ruthlessness but ruins his success because of the inhumanity hidden deep down in them.

        유리체절제술 시 평면부 초음파분쇄술 후 각막내피세포의 장기 변화

        목적: 유리체절제술과 백내장수술을 동시에 시행 받았던 유리체절제술 시 평면부를 통한 초음파분쇄술의 술 후 2년째 각막내피세포 변화를 알아보고자 한다. 대상과 방법: 유리체절제술 시 평면부를 통한 초음파분쇄술을 시행 받은 환자 중 2년 이상 정기적으로 추적관찰하였던 환자 20안을 대상으로 후향적 의무기록을 분석하였다. 경면현미경을 이용하여 수술 전, 수술 후 1달, 3달, 6달, 1년, 2년째 측정한 각막내피세포 밀도(endothelial cell density, ECD), 세포면적변이계수(coefficient of variation, CV), 육각형세포율(hexagonality, HA)을 비교하였다. 결과: 수술 전 측정된 평균 ECD는 1,782 ± 623개/mm2, CV는 35.55 ± 3.03%, HA는 49.86 ± 5.60%였다. 수술 2년 후 측정한 평균 ECD는 1,722 ± 532개/mm2, CV는 35.50 ± 3.03%, HA는 53.00 ± 4.91%로 수술 전과 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으며 (p=0.9731, 1.000, 0.997), 수술 후 1개월, 3개월, 6개월 및 1년의 시점에 측정한 값과도 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론: 유리체절제술 시 평면부를 통한 초음파분쇄술은 수술 전 ECD가 적은 환자에게 수술에 따른 각막내피세포 손실을 최소화할 수 있는 선택 가능한 수술 방법임을 확인하였다. Purpose: To evaluate the long-term changes in cornea endothelial cell density (ECD) after pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) with fragmentation. Methods: Twenty patients (20 eyes) who underwent PPV with fragmentation and who were followed up for 2 years were enrolled in this retrospective study. The cornea ECD, coefficient of variation (CV), and hexagonality (HA) were calculated using a specular microscopy at 1, 3, 6, 12 months, and 2 years after surgery. Results: The preoperative mean ECD was 1,782 ± 623 cells/mm2, and the postoperative mean ECD did not significantly change at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. Additionally, there were no significant changes in CV or HA. At 2 years after surgery, the mean ECD was 1,722 ± 532 cells/mm2, the mean CV was 35.50 ± 3.03%, and the mean HA was 53.00 ± 4.91%. There were no significant changes in ECD, CV, or HA preoperatively and postoperatively at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. Conclusions: In this study, the mean ECD did not significantly decrease after PPV with fragmentation at 2 years after surgery. A PPV with fragmentation was an appropriate surgical procedure for patients with low cornea endothelial cell density.
