Man-Machine System is a particular type of system that is governed by the same characteristics of general system. It is defined as an operating combination of one or more persons with one or more equipment components; they interact to bring about some desired output from given input. And man acts as a controller and/or monitor in man-machine system. In designing a man-machine system, human`s internal and external characteristics should be accounted on designing machines, work surface, work place and system layout. Thus to know the internal and external characteristics of human is necessary prior to design them. Internal characteristics is in four catagories such as information sensor, processor, memory, responsor. This study revealed and arranged the capacity and limitation of human capacity of sense and physics. And measured 61 body features for Korean workers. The anthropometric data would be available for designing systems. But, human characteristics is complex and multi-dimensional, the designed system can not be perfectly accepted the internal and external characteristics. The two evaluation method of compatibility between man and machine in man-machine system are suggested. Man and machine is not coordinated in a system, it cause situational errors in the system. The first evaluation method is a entropy model using system error information. The second method is applying the transfer function. The idea of the model is that the more man and machine is coordinated, the more output is gained against given input. But human behaviors in the system is complex of the nonlinear, dynamic and stochastic, the transfer function of total system is imperfect to describe man-machine system status. And, substituted man and machine efficiency instead of transfer functions.

봉제산업의 꽃이라 불리울 만큼 비중을 크게 차지하는 미싱사들의 신발 설계는 미싱 작업동작에서 나타나는 인간요소의 특성에 적합하도록 최적화되어야 한다. 현재 미싱사들이 착화하고 있는 신발설계구조는 미싱 작업동작 특성으로 나타나는 제 요인을 고려하지 아니한 신발로서 작업능률을 저하시키고 있는 실태이다. 본 연구에서는 설계조건에 따라 다르게 나 타나는 요인의 변수를 인간공학적인 방법으로 조사연구하여 미싱 작업동작에 원활을 기할수 있는 생체원칙에 따라 동적작업과는 다르게 생체내의 6수분과 혈액이 발부위로 몰려 발의 체 적이 팽대해지고 미싱 동작을 시작하여 약10분이 경과되면 생리적 이상으로 1$cm^{2}$당 18 개의 봉제화의 설계시방 기초를 마련하는데 목적이 있다.
하이드라진 용액법으로 형성된 CuInSe₂ 다층 박막 분석

CuInSe₂ thin films which have been widely used for thin solar cells as a light absorber were prepared by hydrazine solution processing, and their microstructural properties were investigated. Hydrazine CuInSe₂ precursor solutions were prepared by dissolving Cu₂S, S, In₂Se₃ and Se powder in hydrazine solvent. Multilayer CuInSe₂ chalcopyrite phase thin films were prepared by repeating spin-coating process using the precursor solution. Unfortunately, the presence of the interfaces between each CuInSe₂ layer formed by multi-layer coating impeded grain growth across the interface. Here, by doing simple interface engineering to solve the limited grain growth issue, the large grained (~1 μm) CuInSe₂ thin films were obtained.
UCC 추천을 위한 사회 네트워크 분석을 활용한 협업 필터링 기법 연구

In this study, a collaborative filtering (CF) based recommendation method which uses social network analysis measures is proposed and tested empirically to improve the performance of recommendation. Current CF techniques recommend appropriate product information to customers based on users preference similarity. The proposed method uses centrality measures which can be obtained from user social network with user’ preference similarity to select appropriate product information for users. The recommendation performance of the proposed method is compared with that of current CF empirically. To test performance empirically, user visiting web log data of www.youtube.com which is a representative UCC (User Created Contents) site is used. The experimental results show that the combined usage of social network analysis measures can contribute to improve recommendation performance.
Halide activated pack cementation에 의한 silicide 코팅층의 형성에 따른 Nb 합금의 산화거동

In this study, we tried to improve the oxidation resistance of Nb-12Si (wt%) alloys at 1200 °C or higher through pack cementation coatings. Nb-12Si (wt%) alloys were prepared by arc-melting under Ar atmosphere. When the alloys were coated using pack powder mixtures composed of Si, Al2O3 and NaF, two silicide layers composed of NbSi2 and Nb5Si3 phases were successfully produced on the substrate. The Si-pack coatings were performed with various heat treatment temperatures and time conditions. The microstructures and thickness changes of the coating layers were analyzed to determine the growth behaviors of the coating layer. The growth constant of cm2/sec was obtained with a diffusion growth mode. In addition, in order to examine the resistance of the Si-pack coated alloys, isothermal static oxidation tests were performed at 1200 °C and higher temperatures. As a result, the oxidation resistance of the alloys was determined by protecting the surface of the alloys with silicide oxide layers formed by the silicide coatings. The uncoated specimens exhibited an abnormal weight increase due to the formation of Nb oxide. The coated specimen showed excellent oxidation resistance at 1200 °C for up to 12 hrs, while the previous reports on the same alloy verified oxidation resistance only up to 1100 °C. It appears that the excellent oxidation resistance is closely related to the NbSi2 coating layer thickness. The oxidation behaviors of the coating layers after the oxidation tests were discussed in terms of microstructural and phase analyses.

In designing a man-machine system(machines, work surfaces, work places, etc.), human's internal and external characteristics should be considered. But the resulting system may not be perfect, and many idiosyncratic and situational errors occur while operating. The entropy model with the limited data is known as a useful method to verify the internal system status. This paper shows a quantitative method to describe the system compatability between man and machine by entropy model and error data.
