        전통시장 시설현대화사업이 전통시장 활성화에 미치는 영향 분석

        After full opening of distribution market in 1996, its competitiveness was lost and declined due to the emergence of a variety of distribution types, change of customers consumption habits, and purchase patterns. Therefore, Korean government began to support the modernization projects of traditional markets through the establishment of law for the activation of existing traditional markets. In this regard, this study attempts to diagnose the problems of facility modernization projects through substantial and concrete effect analysis on facility modernization projects to provide the activation methods effectively. To achieve this goal, we analyzed the overall satisfaction and substantial effect of facility modernization projects for traditional markes by carrying out questionnaire surveys on merchants at Jun-gang Yudeung Market in Jinju. As a result of questionnaire survey, customers were generally satisfied with the facility modernization project, the market environment was improved and the customer numbers and sales amount which show the actual improvement also increased after implementing the projects. Also, it was proved that customer numbers and the sales amount after the facility modernization project of traditional markets increased and the degree in the increase was low level of 5~20%. Therefore, it was analyzed that sub-project items of the facility modernization project, which have a significant effect on the activation of traditional markets, had a low level of influence.

        2001년 경상북도에서 발생한 콜레라 유행에 관한 역학조사

        Objectives : This study was carried out to investigate the cause, magnitude and transmission route of the cholera outbreak in 2001 Methods : The study population were those persons who ingested foods at the restaurant, were confirmed as cholera patients, had symptoms of diarrhea and sewed as workers at the restaurant. A questionnaire survey and microbiological examinations on the microbes isolated from rectal swabs were conducted. Of the cases, 316 food histories were surveyed by an analysis of the restaurant menu. Results : There were 139 confirmed cases of cholera reported in Korea in 2001. Of these, 104 were related to the restaurant. By region, Gyeongsangbuk-do had the highest incidence with 91 cases. Of these 91 cases, 74 had ingested foods at the restaurant, 2 were employees and 3 were secondary infection cases within the families. The results of the odds ratio analysis of the 316 persons having ingested foods at the restaurant were as follows: sandwiches 5.07 (95% CI, 1.85-14.59), soybean curd 2.45 (95% CI, 1.09-5.56), noodles 2.34 (95% CI, 1.24-4.42), steamed squid 2.01 (95% CI, 1.17-3.47) and vinegared rice 1.82 (95%, CI, 1.08-3.09). It was certain the restaurant in question was the cause of the 2001 outbreak. Conclusions : We suspected that more than one restaurant employee contaminated foods served at the restaurant. In addition, eating raw fishes purchased at the Pohang Fisheries infected the employees of the restaurant. There is a possibility that these raw fishes were themselves contaminated by cholera bacilli in the sea.

        홉스의 『시민론』과 『인간론』을 중심으로 본 인권과 전쟁의 권리

        이 글은 고 이준호 박사의 유고논문이다. 저자가 세운 이 글의 목적은 분명하다. 홉스 연구자들이 『리바이어던』을 main text로 삼고 있는 것에서 벗어나 『시민론』과 『인간론』의 중요성에 주목하고 있다. 필자는 홉스의 시민론을 직접 우리말로 번역한 바 있다. 이 번역 작업을 통해 시민론에 대한 깊은 이해와 성찰을 바탕으로 홉스 정치철학을 새롭게 해석할 가능성을 모색하고 있다. 그가 주목한 새로운 해석이란, 『시민론』에서 홉스는 전쟁을 적극적으로 반대하고 있다는 사실과 신민들의 인권 보호와 복지 증진을 위해 군주가 져야할 자연적 의무가 있다는 것을 보여주는 일이다. 또 최고통치권자에게 복종해야만 하는 근거는 통치권자 자신이 소유한 힘에 대한 ‘공포’에 있지 않고, 실정법을 위반했을 때 받게 되는 처벌의 공포에 무게 중심을 두고 있다. 3절에서 필자는 국가의 두 기원, 동의와 정복에 관해 분석하고 있다. 이 절에서 필자는 실질적 사회계약론에 대해 의문을 제기하고 있다. 애초 국가는 자연발생적으로 시작되었으며, 최고 통치권자의 자의적 통치를 견제하기 위해 신민들과 계약을 맺게 된 것이라는 필자의 해석이다. 4절에서 필자는 시민론의 열 번째 자연법에 주목하고 있다. 공정성, 즉 차별하지 말라는 자연법의 명령은 국가의 평화와 안위를 위해서 통치권자가 지켜야 할 덕목이라는 것이다. 특히 분배의 공정성을 유지하는 일이 통치권자의 의무이다. 5절은 통치권력의 절대성과 복종에 대해 설명하고 있다. 정당화된 권력은 국가의 안전을 위해 신민들의 사생활까지 감시할 수 있어야 한다고 주장한다. 당연히 오늘날의 시각에서 보면 인권침해의 위험이 있지만 홉스 당시에는 문제가 되지 않는다. 그러나 홉스는 부당한 권력에 대해서는 자발적 복종의 의무를 배제하고 있다. 통치권자도 양심과 자연법에 따라 통치할 때만 권력은 정당화되며, 신민들의 자발적 복종을 얻을 수 있다. 6절에서 필자는 자연법을 위반한 통치권자에 대한 전쟁의 권리에 대해 설명하고 있다. 신민을 적으로 만든 통치권자는 그 권력의 정당성을 상실하게 되고, 신민들은 통치권자를 향해 전쟁의 권리를 회복하게 된다는 것이다. 챨스 1세의 처형이 이에 해당된다. 결론에서는 홉스의 정치철학사적 위치를 다시 규정하고 있다. 홉스는 절대왕권주의를 지지하면서도 주권재민론의 선구자로서의 자리매김을 하고 있다. This is a paper by Dr. Lee Jun-ho who died a few years ago. The purpose of this article is clear. Dr. Lee suggests that Hobbes researchers should pay attention to the importance of De Cive and De Homine, not to consider Leviathan as the main work of Hobbes. He translated Hobbes’ De Cive and De Homine into Korean. Through this translation work, he was looking for a possibility to interpret Hobbes’ political philosophy based on deep understanding and reflection on civil theory. The new interpretation he notices is that Hobbes is actively opposed to war in the De Cive and shows that there is a natural obligation of the monarch to protect the human rights and welfare of the people. The author emphasizes that the reason for submitting to the supreme ruler is not the “fear” of the powers held by the ruling power, but the fear of punishment in violation of the law. In section 3, the author analyzes the origins of consent and conquest. In this section, he questions the actual social contract theory. It is his interpretation that the country originally started spontaneously and that it had entered into a contract with the people to check the arbitrary rule of the supreme ruler. In section 5, the author explains the absoluteness and obedience of ruling power. He maintains that justified power has to monitor the privacy of the people for the sake of national security. Of course, from today’s point of view there is a risk of human rights violations, but it is not a problem at the time. However, Hobbes excludes the obligation of voluntary obedience to unjust power. Only when the ruling power is governed by conscience and natural law, power is justified and the voluntary obedience of the people can be obtained. In section 6, the author explains the right of war to the rulers who violate natural law. The rulers who have made the enemies of the people lose the legitimacy of their power, and the people will regain the right of war to the rulers. This is the execution of Charles I. In conclusion, the author redefines the historical location of Hobbes’s political philosophy. According to the author, Hobbes has always been a pioneer of sovereignty, while supporting absolutism.

      • Experimental Evaluation of Q-Parameterization Control for the Imbalance Compensation of Magnetic Bearing Syatem

        This paper utilizes the method of Q-parameterization control to design a controller which solves the problem of imbalance in magnetic bearing systems. There are two methods to solve this problem using feedback controal. The first method is to compensate for the imbalance forces by generating opposing forces on the bearing surface (imbalance compensation). The second method is to make the rotor rotate around its axis of inertia (automatic balancing);in this case no imbalance forces will be generated. In this paper we deal with only imbalance compensation. The free parameter of the Q-parameterization controller is chosen such that these goals are achieved. After the introduction of a model of the magnetic bearing system, we explain the Q-parameterization controller design of the magnetic bearing system with emphasis on the rejection of sinusoidal disturbance for imbalance compensation design. The design objectives are formulated as a linear equations in the controller free paramete Q. Finally, simulation and experimental results are presented and showed the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed controllers.

        Purpose. Radiation therapy for oncologic emergencies is an important modality in the management of cancer patients. The aim of the present study was to review the roles of RT in oncologic emergencies based on literature review. Methods. The oncologic emergencies requiring rapid treatment include superior vena cava syndrome, spinal cord compression, brain metastasis, and bone metastasis. We reviewed the literatures on the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of oncologic emergencies. Results. In this literature review, radiation therapy among treatment modalities for oncologic emergencies has been shown to be fast and very effective treatment modality for oncologic emergencies. Conclusions. Based on this review, we conclude that the literature provides support for the role of radiation therapy in the situation of oncologic emergencies. As the number of cancer patients increase, the prevalence of oncologic emergencies will increase. In the future, the development of RT techniques will provide the improvement of not only patient's quality of life but also the survival.

        Roles of Src-family kinase isoforms, Lyn, Fyn, Fgr, and c-Src on degranulation in RBL-2H3 mast cells

        흰쥐유래의 비만세포인 RBL-2H3 세포는 다양한 Src-family kinase를 발현한다. 현재까지의 연구결과에 의하면 비만세포의 초기 활성화에 Lyn kinase가 중요한 역할을 한다고 알려져 왔다. 그러나 그 세포에서 발현되는 다양한 다른 Src-family kinase의 역할은 불분명하다. 본 연구에서는 비만세포에서 다양한 Src-family kinase가 세포내 다른 곳에서 다양하게 발현되고 있다는 사실을 RT-PCR, immunoblotting 그리고 confocal microscopy 기법을 이용하여 증명하였다. 그 결과 Lyn 및 Fgr kinase는 세포막에 위치하고 c-Src 및 Yes kinase는 세포 내 과립에 존재하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 모든 Src-family kinase를 클로닝하고 과발현하여 탈과립 대한 영향을 평가하였다. 그 결과 fyn과 Fgr kinase는 비만세포에서 항원 유도의 탈과립을 증가시켰으며 반면 Lyn kinsae는 탈과립을 억제시키는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 비만세포 초기 신호전달계에서 Fgr가 중요한 역할을 할 가능성을 제시한다. The rat RBL-2H3 mast cells contain various Src-family kinases. Previous reports with this cell line indicated that Lyn activation is an important initial signaling for the activation of the cells. However, the role and location of other Src-family kinase isoforms which are expressed in the cells are not clear. In this study, we now show that isoforms of Src-family kinases, Lyn, fyn, Fgr, c-Src, and Yes are differentially expressed and located differently in the cells as indicated by RT-PCR, immunoblotting analysis, and confocal microscopy. Lyn and Fgr were located on plasma membrane but on the other hand c-Src and Yes were located on intracellular organelle. All of Src-family kinases were cloned and overexpressed for investigating the roles of the isoforms. Overexpression of Fyn and Fgr, not Lyn and c-Src, stimulated Ag-induced degranulation in the cells. Our findings strongly suggest for the first time that each of Src-family kinase isoform can regulate differentially $Fc{\varepsilon}RI$-mediated signaling in RBL-2H3 mast cells.

        반복 복호 횟수 감소를 통한 저전력 LDPC 복호기 설계

        LDPC 부호는 4G 이동통신 시스템에 적합한 오류 정정 부호이다. 그러나 알고리듬의 특성상 좋은 BER 성능을 위해서는 반복 복호에 의한 많은 연산량이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 복호지연과 전력 소모에 대한 복호기의 성능을 증가시키기 위하여 반복 복호 횟수를 줄이는 알고리듬에 대하여 제안한다. 제안된 알고리듬은 현재 LLR 복호값과 이전 LLR 복호값 사이의 변화를 측정하고 변화 방향을 예측하며, 패리티 검사식을 만족시켜 수렴속도를 높이도록 LLR 값의 sign 비트를 반전시킨다. 실험결과, 제안한 방법은 BER 성능의 감소 없이 반복 복호 횟수를 약 33% 정도 줄이는 것이 가능하며 감소된 반복 복호 횟수에 비례하여 소모 전력도 감소시킬 수 있다. LDPC Low Density Parity Check) code, which is an error correcting code determined to be applied to the 4th generation mobile communication systems, requires a heavy computational complexity due to iterative decodings to achieve a high BER performance. This paper proposes an algorithm to reduce the number of decoding iterations to increase performance of the decoder in decoding latency and power consumption. Measuring changes between the current decoded LLR values and previous ones, the proposed algorithm predicts directions of the value changes. Based on the prediction, the algorithm inverts the sign bits of the LLR values to speed up convergence, which means parity check equation is satisfied. Simulation results show that the number of iterations has been reduced by about 33% without BER performance degradation in the proposed decoder, and the power consumption has also been decreased in proportional to the amount of the reduced decoding iterations.
