Hwangryunhaedok-tang (HT) is prescribed in oriental medicine to treat inflammation-related diseases. This study examined the anti-bacterial effect to select the index components of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) HT. The disc diffusion method and minimum inhibition concentrations (MIC) tests were conducted to measure the antibacterial activity of HT. The strains were Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and Escherichia coli 23724. Berberine and geniposide were selected as the index components of HT and were analyzed quantitatively by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). As a result, the inhibition ring was formed at $11.7{\pm}1.3mm$ and $8.7{\pm}0.7mm$ at HT 20 mg and 10 mg on S.aureus ATCC 25923, respectively; and $8.0{\pm}0.0mm$ at HT 20 mg on E.coli ATCC 23724. The MIC were 31.25 mg/mL in S.aureus ATCC 25923 and 125.0 mg/mL in E.coli ATCC 23724. In quantitative analysis for standardization, HT contained 16.55 mg/g of berberine and 81.85 mg/g of geniposide. Overall, when antibiotics are developed using natural products, they may reduce the side effects and inhibit resistant bacteria. If research on HT continuously proceeds, positive developments are expected to be made in oriental medicine as well as in various other industries. 황련해독탕은 한방산업에서 염증관련 질환에 다빈도로 사용되는 처방이다. 본 연구의 목적은 전통적 한약인 황련해독탕의 항균활성을 확인하고 지표성분을 선정하는 것이다. 황련해독탕의 항균활성을 측정하기 위하여 디스크 확산법과 최소억제농도법을 사용하였다. 사용균주는 Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Escherichia coli ATCC 23724였으며 대조군으로 oxacillin과 ciprofloxacin을 이용하여 황련해독탕의 항균활성을 확인하였다. 결과적으로 디스크 확산법에서는 S.aureus ATCC 25923에서 황련해독탕 20 mg과 10 mg은 $11.7{\pm}1.3mm$, $8.7{\pm}0.7mm$의 억제환을 형성하였으며 E.coli ATCC 23724에서는 황련해독탕 20 mg이 $8.0{\pm}0.0mm$의 억제환을 형성하였다. 최소억제농도는 S.aureus ATCC 25923가 31.25 mg/mL, E.coli ATCC 23724 에서는 125.0 mg/mL였다. 표준화를 위한 HPLC 정량분석 결과, 황련해독탕은 berberine을 16.55 mg/g 함유하고 있었으며 geniposide를 81.85 mg/g 함유하고 있었다. 천연물을 이용하여 항생제를 개발할 경우에는 내성세균을 억제하고 부작용을 줄일 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 이러한 점을 착안하여 지속적으로 연구를 진행한다면 한방산업과 더불어 여러 산업에서의 발전을 기대할 수 있을 것이다.
Kink-effect 개선을 위한 세 개의 분리된 N+ 구조를 지닌 대칭형 듀얼 게이트 단결정 TFT 구조에 대한 연구

In this paper, we have simulated a Symmetric Dual-gate Single-Si TFT which has three split floating $n^{+}$ zones. This structure reduces the kink-effect drastically and improves the on-current. Due to the separated floating $n^{+}$ zones, the transistor channel region is split into four zones with different lengths defined by a floating $n^{+}$ region. This structure allows an effective reduction of the kink-effect depending on the length of two sub-channels. The on-current of the proposed dual-gate structure is 0.9 mA while that of the conventional dual-gate structure is 0.5 mA at a 12 V drain voltage and a 7 V gate voltage. This results show a $80 {\%}$ enhancement in on-current by adding two floating $n^{+}$ zones. Moreover we observed the reduction of electric field In the channel region compared to conventional single-gate TFT and the reduction of the output conductance in the saturation region. In addition we also confirmed the reduction of hole concentration in the channel region so that the kink-effect reduces effectively.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the torque-angle relationship of the knee flexor and extensor in healthy adults. Eighty-one subjects were participated in this study(men: forty, women: forty-one). The participants performed maximal voluntary isometric contractions at five knee joint angle(90, 70, 50, 30, 10). As for statistical verification, repeated measures ANOVA was conducted, and in case that there were significant differences in torque according to the changes in knee angle, contrast test for the rest of the knee angles based on peak angle was performed. The maximal torque was greater in the men group than women group in all the knee angles(flexor, extensor). Torque-angle relationship curve was revealed similar pattern in previous study. The torque estimation equations are as follows. 1. Flexor male: y=0.652x3-10.79x2+59.42x+2.155 (R²=0.999) female: y=0.424x3-6.601x2+34.65x-3.975 (R²=1) 2. Extensor male: y=4.572x3-54.51x2+161.7x+37.46 (R²=0.994) female: y=1.522x3-21.77x2+71.92x+28.76 (R²=0.999)

The purpose of this study is to quantify the effect of brain injury, like stroke, on functional changes in paretic skeletal muscle. To test this, 11 persons with hemiplegia, both male and female in their 50s, were selected as the subjects of this study, and having synchronized dynamometer, electromyography and electrical stimulator, a variety of variables were measured. With regard to functional properties, the contraction time, which is the time to take to reach the maximal torque from the point in time of the beginning of muscle contraction, and also half relaxation time, which is the time to take to reach the point when the maximal torque reduces to half were measured and analyzed accordingly. As for statistical verification, repeated measures ANOVA was conducted, and in case that there were significant differences in sub variables according to the changes in ankle angle, contrast test for the rest of the ankle angles based on anatomical 0° was performed. The results of analysis were as follows; 1) Contraction Time Analysis results indicated that the contraction time of muscle was shorter in the paretic side, however, it was not statistically significant (p=.109), and when the dorsi flexion increased more, the contraction took longer time (p=.000). 2) Half Relaxation Time Results from analysis revealed that the half relaxation time was significantly shorter in the paretic side (p=.008), and the more dorsi flexion increased, the longer relaxation time became (p=.000).

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the 12 weeks resistance exercise on torque-angle relationship of the knee flexor and extensor in healthy adults. 121 subjects were participated in this study(men: 67, women: 54). The participants performed 12 weeks resistance exercise and we were measured pre and post maximal voluntary isometric contractions at five knee joint angle(90, 70, 50, 30, 10). As for statistical verification, repeated measures ANOVA was conducted, and in case that there were significant differences in torque according to the changes in knee angle, contrast test for the rest of the knee angles based on peak angle was performed. Themaximal =torque was greater in the post-exercise than pre-exercise in all the knee angles(flexor, extensor & male, female) Torque-angle relationship of the knee flexor and extensor curve was inclined to make rather upward shift in the post-exercise than in the pre-exercise. However, there were no statistically significant difference between pre and post-exercise.
반경험적 공력 해석도구의 주날개-꼬리날개 간섭 효과 보정에 대한 연구

본 논문에서는 반경험적 해석도구를 이용하여 일반적인 형상의 꼬리날개 조종 유도무기의 공력 특성을 예측하고 그 결과를 보정하는 연구를 수행하였다. 반경험적 해석도구의 공력 특성 예측 결과를 풍동시험 결과와 비교하여 오차 원인을 확인하였으며, 반경험적 해석도구의 주요 오차 요인은 주날개-꼬리날개 간 간섭 성분임을 확인하였다. 반경험적 해석 결과를 풍동시험 결과와 전산해석 결과를 이용하여 보정하였으며, 보정된 데이터가 풍동시험 결과와 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 일반적인 꼬리날개 조종 유도무기의 공력 특성을 반경험적 해석도구를 이용하여 예측할 때 날개 간 간섭 성분 보정이 필요함을 확인하였다. In this paper, the aerodynamic characteristics of general tail controlled missile were predicted and corrected the result using semi-empirical analysis tool. The cause of the error was confirmed by comparing the aerodynamic characteristics prediction result of the semi-empirical analysis tool with the wind tunnel test result, and the main error factor of the semi-empirical analysis tool was the interference component between the main wing and the tail wing. The semi-empirical analysis results were corrected using the wind tunnel test results and the computational analysis results, and it was confirmed that the corrected data agrees well with the wind tunnel test results. Through this study, it was confirmed that the wing-tail interference component correction is needed when predicting the aerodynamic characteristics of a general tail controlled missile using a semi-empirical analysis tool.
