        증자시간에 따른 생천마의 품질특성 변화

        Gastrodia elata has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for treating headaches, dizziness, and convulsive illness for centuries. G. elata has traditionally been processed by steaming or blanching to increase the content and quality of its main ingredients. This study aimed to identify changes in physicochemical properties and active ingredients of G. elata depending on the steaming time. Data of this study could be used to develop traditional medicine and health foods. No steaming was used as a control. Steaming time was 5, 10, 20, 30, 60, or 120 min. The drying yield according to the steaming time ranged from 20.2% to 22.9%, with the lowest drying yield at 120 min. As the steaming time increased, gastrodin content increased more than that in fresh G. elata due to inhibition of β-glucosidase enzyme activity, 4-hydroxybenzyl alcohol condensation, and parishin decomposition. Steamed G. elata did not show higher total polyphenols, total flavonoids, or ABTS radical scavenging activities than fresh G. elata even with an increase of steaming time. The steaming time to improve the quality of G. elata may varied depending on the size of G. elata. Thus, it is important to set the steaming time taking these characteristics into consideration.

      • 1P-761 Energy recovery from fermented microalgae residue using maximum power point tracking method in microbial fuel cell

        The application of algae biomass for fermentation has been highlighted to produce value added fuels and chemicals such as biodiesel, bioethanol, biogas, biohydrogen, and other co-products. However, most post-extracted algae residue from fermentation process still contains as much as 50% of organic waste which can be valuable substrate for further bioenergy recovery. In this study, we extracted biodiesel from cultivated microalgae biomass by fermentation, and the post-extracted biomass were further attempted for the electrical energy recovery using a microbial fuel cell (MFC). We obtained high COD removal efficiency of approximately 160-1150 ppm/day on different algae residue loading, and simultaneous electricity generation of 0.28W/㎡ from MFC operation. The implementation of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method by real-time load adjusting, improve COD removal efficiency (85%) and output voltage and power density (0.37 V and 0.33 W/㎡, respectively) as compared to the control.

      • 한국 성인 남자의 혈장 비타민 B_6 영양상태에 대한 고찰

        Vitamin B_6 status was measured in 108 Korean men between 25 yrs and 57 yrs old by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) based on the modification of the reverse-phase ion pairing procedure. The population was grouped according to the biochemical indication of plasma; normal, hyperglycemic, and hypercholesterolemic group. The level of vitamin B_6 was correlated positively to the level of plasma cholesterol and was correlated to neither age nor the plasma level of hematocrit, hemoglobin, glucose, albumin, glutamic pyruvic transaminase(GPT), γ-glutamyl trans peptidase(γ-GTP) in normal group. Compared to the normal group, the level of plasma vitamin B_6 tended to be lower in hyperglycemic group and tended to be higher in hypercholesterolemic group. These results suggest that more vitamin B_6 should be recommend to the hyperglycemic patients than to normal subject to keep the normal status.

        이슬람의 공공제도로서 와끄프 연구

        The Islamic Community (Ummah), where the religious practice of Islam can be actualized, occupies a central position in Islamic faith. Muslims have paid much attention to publicity and public welfare to make their community sustainable. The emergence and development of maṣlaḥa (public interest) in uṣūl al-fiqh (Islamic legal theory) shows the deep concern of Muslims about publicity. The fact that maṣlaḥa came to be regarded as the final purpose of Sharīʿah in Abū Ḥāmid al-Ghazālī’s legal theory means that the interpretation of law was flexible. The concept of public goods can be found in ḥadīth. Especially land and water have been treated as important public goods in Islamic legal thought. The development of ḥuqūq al-irtifāq (the rights of easements) has supported the publicity of these goods. The legal concern about publicity in Islam was institutionalized as charitable endowments of Islam(waqfs). The waqf system is an excellent public system that regulates common goods. Its legal foundation is, however, surprisingly very weak. Ḥadīth is the most important source of law for waqfs, and there is no ground in the Qurʾān as their primary source of law. It shows that waqfs are the result of active interpretation of law in favor of public interests.

        Solid-Phase Microextraction (SPME)에 의한 꿀풀과 약초의 향기성분과 그 특성

        본 연구는 향기성분을 많이 포함하고 있는 꿀풀과의 대표적인 5종류를 선정하여 이들을 대상으로 소량의 시료만으로도 신속하게 분석할 수 있는 고상 미량 추출법(Solid Phase Microextraction: SPME)과 동시증류추출법(Simultaneous Distillation and Extraction : SDE)으로 향기성분을 분석하였다. 분석결과 5종류의 꿀풀과 약초의 향기성분 구성은 linanol, limonene, citral, trans-geraniol 등의 monoterpene alcohol, monoterpene aldehyde 및 ketone 과 trans-caryophyllene, δ-cadinene 등의 sesquiterpene 성분들이 주로 검출되었다. 분석결과 기존의 향기성분 연구에 많이 사용되는 동시증류추출법(SDE)과 주성분에서 대부분 유사하였으나 형개의 향기성분처럼 SPME법에서 많은 성분이 검출되지 않는 경우도 있었고 배초향, 박하의 성분처럼 SDE법에서 검출되지 않은 일부 성분도 SPME법에서 검출되기도 하였다. 이러한 결과는 SPME법은 낮은 온도에서 흡착만으로 성분의 포집이 이루어지므로 추출, 농축 등의 조작에 의한 SDE법보다 이차적인 변질이 적었기 때문으로 생각되었다. 따라서 SPME법은 열변성이 적고 소량으로 다수의 시료를 분석할 수 있어 향신약초의 품종육종 등에 사용할 수 있는 간편하고 신속한 방법이 될 것으로 생각된다. This study was carried out to find the possibility of use of Solid Phase Microextraction (SPME) for extracting the volatile aroma compounds in the five aromatic plants (Agastache rugosa O. Kuntze, Mentha arvensis Linne, Thymus quinquecostatus Celakovsky, Elsholtzia splendens Nakai, Schizonepta tenuifolia Briquet) belongs to the Labiatae. In the result of the analysis, the volatile aroma compounds were mainly composed monoterpene alcohol (linanol, menthol, α-terpineol, borneol), monoterpene ketone (limonene, menthone) and sesquiterpene (trans-caryophyllene,δ-cadinene). The volatile aroma compounds of Agastache rugosa O. Kuntze and Mentha arvensis Linne were extracted by SPME more identified than the SDE. However, Schizonepta tenuifolia Briquet more identified by the SDE and in Elsholtzia splendens Nakai similar to the SDE. Especially, the SPME showed the sesquiterpene contents was more than the SDE. The major volatile aroma compounds were difference but the composition of those between the SPME and the SDE showed no difference. Within the results, the SPME showed the most convenient and a rapid extraction method to analysis of the volatile aroma compounds.

        서울시 무형문화재 한량무 보유자에 관한 연행기반연구(PBR)

        본 연구는 서울시무형문화재 제45호 ‘한량무’ 보유자에 대한 내러티브 탐구와 원형의 창의적 전승을 위한 연행기반연구(Performance Based Research)를 다각적으로 분석 하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 ‘한량무’ 보유자 고선아를 대상으로 질적 연구방법 중 하나인 내러티브 탐구방법을 실시하였으며, 자료수집으로는심층면담과 문헌연구조사 방법을 수집하여 분석하였고, 원형의 창의적 전승을 위한 연행기반연구(PBR)영역에서는 공연 작품의 시놉시스와 안무노트, 공연영상기록을 수집하여 분석하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 한량무 보유자의 내러티브 탐구영역에서는 보유자 고선아의 춤의 세계관과 보유자 고선아의 한량무 전승과정 2가지로구분하여 결론하였으며, 원형의 창의적 전승을 위한 연행기반연구영역에서는 ‘사색(色)의 法古와 創新의 공존 : 한량무’ 공연을 분석하여 결론하였다.

        여성노인의 연령대에 따른 밴드복합운동의 효과와 삶의 질 변화

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness and quality of life changes of band complex exercise according to the age group of elderly women. Therefore, data related to physical strength and quality of life were obtained by conducting an eight-week band complex exercise for 20 elderly women living in D Metropolitan City and capable of daily life and exercise. Descriptive statistical analysis, frequency analysis, and independent sample t-test were conducted using the SPSS 22.0 statistical program. The analysis results are as follows. First, after 8 weeks of band complex exercise, there was a statistically significant difference in the lower extremity muscle func- tion of the elderly women in their 60s, 70s, and 80s, and the equilibrium was found to have increased statistically in their 70s and 80s (p<.05). Second, a statistically significant increase after eight weeks of band complex exercise was found in the quality of life of women in 60s is social relations, in 70s is physical health and social relations, and in 80s is social relations and the average of the overall quality of life (p<.05). The result of this study is that the effect of band complex exercise varies depending on the age group of the elderly women. This suggests that age should be carefully examined and considered when prescribing or guiding exercise for elderly women.
