廣州市 龍江洞 정원유적의 원지구성에 관한 기초적인 연구

        백지성,하진호 한국정원학회 2002 한국전통조경학회지 Vol.20 No.3

The garden remains located in Yonggang-dong, Gyeogju-city is presumed to have been a part of a royal villa in the Unified Shilla and has a pond garden and waterscape-focused stucture. The pond garden seems to have had a pond island which must have been connected to the garden with a bridge. The small architectural sites were also found in the east and southeast part of the pond garden. In particular, it was partially confirmed that there was a stream in the southeast site. In the garden structure, the characteristics found in the plan of the pond garden were as follows: (1) The pond garden The shore edging of the pond garden keeps a certain distance from the shore of the pond island and has and organic relationship with it. It expands in slow curves and takes the overall shape of a square on the plane. The reinforcing stone wall lying along the shore is made of natural and split stones piled almost perpendicularly and thus has the cubic effects. The relatively simple structure of the shore edging contributes to the smooth and natural view of the pond garden. (2) The pond island The pond island is composed of the shore with serious winding and the varied shore with protruding parts on the plane level. Its reinforcing stone wall is built of natural and split stones, and its building techniques are also diverse. ①The embankment of a square shape intended for a bridge shows a cubic and practical composition that is just right for the straight-lined part of the shore. ②Rough split stones are spread in the entire shore, which is considered to have depicted the rough scenery of the gravel field adjacent to the water surface. ③The stone structure along the shore is not built of piles of lying stone pieces but of standing ones, which seems to be emphasized along with the protruding line of shore edging. ④It’s very unique for ornamental stones to be placed in the stone-filled ground. ⑤The shore has the topsoil composed of sand and gravels exposed, which is regarded as an attempt to bring the very natural waterscape out of the shore. ⑥There are rows of very high sense of formation to produce a natural waterscape with the stone arrangement under water. ⑦There are ornamental stones at the bottom of the pond garden, They are small pieces of stone arranged in groups over a certain area and thus contribute to the naturalness of the waterscape. ⑧The ornamental stones are standing in the stone-spread ground. This technique was adopted to emphasize the superior beauty of them.

강봉 및 유리섬유로 비부착 보강된 조적벽체의 내진 저항성 평가

        백지성,양근혁,황용하,최용수 한국구조물진단유지관리공학회 2020 한국구조물진단유지관리공학회 논문집 Vol.24 No.5

This study examined the structural effectiveness of the unbonded technique originally developed for seismic strengthening of unreinforced masonry walls on the basis of the prestressed steel bars and glass fiber (GF) grids. The masonry walls were strengthened by using individual steel bars or GF grids and their combination. Test results showed that the proposed technique was favorable in enhancing the strength, stiffness, and ductility of the masonry walls. When compared with the lateral load capacity, stiffness at the ascending branch of the lateral load-displacement curve, and energy dissipation capacity of the unstrengthened control wall, the increasing ratios were 110%, 120%, and 360%, respectively, for the walls strengthened with the individual GF grids, 140%, 130%, and 510%, respectively, for the walls strengthened with the individual steel bars, and 160%, 130%, and 840%, respectively, for the walls strengthened with the combination of steel bars and GF grids. The measured lateral load capacities of masonry walls strengthened with the developed technique were in relatively good agreement with the predictions by the equations proposed by Yang et al. Overall, the developed technique is quite promising in enhancing the seismic performance of unreinforced masonry walls.

Vol.2 No.6

In the Edo period of Japan(1603-1867), the stroll style garden in Daimyo(大名) was composed by the water scape of pond which makes its main view. The composition technique of waterside zone where the land and the surface of the water adjoin each other is a point to decide its form and also has a great effect on the whole view of the garden. The garden of HAMARIKYU built in a reclaimed land is one which has a pond in its center. Used by the difference between the rise and full of the tide, the pond is regarded as a pond garden, which trims the view of the garden with skill. The point to emphasize the change of the view in this garden is to be what is called a waterside zone, which is here divided by three patterns of the waterside form a cubic form's point of view. The sandbar style of the waterside zone makes up mild costal scene in virtue of a slow slope of stone built-embankment, a shallow pond, and a lot of pumice-stones in the bottom of the pond. The waterside zone of the rough coast and the cape is a steep slope of which utilizes volcanic rocks, and the bottom of the pond is deep. In this area the change of the view by the ties and full of the tide represents a vertical change and shows a course scene in the costal cliff all over. The waterside zone of the embankment made of jades and atones stands ore of stone built-embankments that can be easily seen in this garden. But looking around the form of the embankment, we can find various patterns in the stone built-embankment and the bottom of the pond, and recognize some difference in the scenic aspect.

        백제와 아스카(飛鳥)의 원지구성(園池構成)

백지성 ( Ji Soung Baik ),김진성 ( Jin Seung Kim ) 한국환경과학회 2018 한국환경과학회지 Vol.27 No.2

The historical exchanges between the Republic of Korea and Japan have broadly occurred, in terms of both political and cultural aspects, from ancient to modern times. Regarding ancient gardening culture, in particular, Asuka developed gardens with the gardening techniques passed down by the Baekje people. The development of the basic form of a garden pond along with its characteristics, established through such exchanges, is suggested by investigating its components through analysis of data from the gardens of Baekje and Asuka. In terms of the garden pond structure, homogeneity was confirmed between Baekje and Asuka, with a linear rectangular form as the basic design. In addition, the vertical construction technique was used by both ancient kingdoms. In terms of the types of stone used in building the shore of the garden pond, Baekje used diverse types such as natural stone, crushed stone, and cut stone. In contrast, rounded river stone was used by Asuka. Regarding the floor of the garden pond, Baekje used soil, which enabled the planting of lotus flowers. In contrast, Asuka used stones to pave pond floors, which made the growth of plants impossible. In terms of layout, Baekje used ornamental stones for pond landscaping, while Asuka used manmade island and water intake facilities in their pond construction. The effects of Baekje’s garden culture on Asuka's garden building can be seen from its influence on the form of the garden pond and shore construction style. In terms of the construction of the garden pond's shore with the same stones and the stone flooring, the garden ponds of the Asuka Kingdom reveal technically unified and refined aspects.

The purpose of this study is to explore the mediating effects of parent-child interactions in the relationship between young children’s playfulness and their peer competence. 254 parents of 3- to 5-year-old children participated in the study and a survey was conducted from June 14 to 18 in 2021. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS program. The results showed that there was significant correlation between young children’s playfulness, parent-child interaction, and peer competence. The first two factors strongly predicted the last factor of children’s peer competence. Additionally, parent-child interactions had a significant partial mediating effect on the relationship between playfulness and peer competence, which suggests the importance of child-centered and play-based activities for the development of peer competence in the home environment. Practical implications were discussed in that parents’ positive guidance and their affectionate behavior are very important in their interaction with children during play.
