Objectives : This study was designed to find The characteristics of the Moire topography in patients of HIVD of Cx-spine. Methods : The Moire topography using IBS(Intek-plus Body Scanner 2000, Seoul, Korea) were obtained in 688 people of control group and 105 patients of HIVD of Cx-spine. Each values were studied to determine the difference between controls and patients. Results : There were significantly difference between controls and patients in thoracic ratio, lumbar ratio, top of the thoracic depth ratio, top of the lumbar depth ratio, Z axis distance and DZ/DY. Conclusions : There were increase of the thoracic kyphosis and lower position in top of the thoracic kyphosis in patients of HIVD of Cx-spine than controls.
Ionic Liquid based Carbon Dioxide Separation Membrane
박정혁,라즈쿠마파텔 한국막학회 2020 멤브레인 Vol.30 No.3
Ionic Liquid (IL) in the category of low-temperature molten salts with organic cation and organic/inorganic anion has shown great potentiality in CO2 gas separation. CO2 gas separation from flue gas by IL based membrane has been widely researched in recent years to overcome climate change and global warming. Membranes based on free standing polyionic liquid (PIL), blend of ionic liquid and composite ionic liquid membranes are discussed in this review. Introducing different IL monomers and tuning microstructure of PIL membrane and composite of PIL-IL to enhance mechanical properties of membranes with good CO2 gas permeability and selectivity. Variations in cation and anions of monomer has great impact on the membrane gas separation performance.

As the need for large-scale data analysis is rapidly increasing, Hadoop, or the platform that realizes large-scale data processing, and MapReduce, or the internal computational model of Hadoop, are receiving great attention. This paper reviews the basic concepts of Hadoop and MapReduce necessary for data analysts who are familiar with statistical programming, through examples that combine the R programming language and Hadoop.

Objective : The present study was conducted to evaluate the analgesic effects of automatically controlled heating acupuncture (ACHA) using 2 different pain models( acute pain and neuropathic pain ) and 2 different stimulation conditions ( heating 41.5℃ and heating 44.5℃ ) in Sprague-Dawley rats. Methods : Tail flick latency (TFL) to a noxious radiant heat stimulus in lightly anesthetized rats was measured before and after ACHA stimulation for 5-min at the Zusanli (ST36) acupoint. For the neuropathic surgery, the right superior caudal trunk was resected at the level between S1 and S2 spinal nerves innervating the tail. Two weeks after the nerve injury, ACHA stimulation (41.5℃ or 44.5℃) was delivered to Zusanli (ST36) for 5 min. The behavioral signs of warm allodynia were evaluated by the tail immersion test (i.e. immersing the tail in warm water (40℃) and measuring the latency to an abrupt tail movement) before and after the ACHA stimulation. Results : In the TFL test, ACHA stimulations under both the conditions above produced more potent analgesic effects than plain acupuncture (PA, acupuncture needle insertion only) and control (no treatment). In the tail immersion test, ACHA stimulations under all of the conditions had markedly relieved the warm allodynia signs. Conclusions : Automatically controlled heating acupuncture produced analgesic effecs in acute and neuropathic pains.
실시간 햅틱 렌더링 기술을 통한 시각 장애인을 위한 원격현장감(Telepresence) 로봇 기술
박정혁,아야나하워드 한국로봇학회 2013 로봇학회 논문지 Vol.8 No.3
This paper presents a robotic system that provides telepresence to the visually impaired by combining real-time haptic rendering with multi-modal interaction. A virtual-proxy based haptic rendering process using a RGB-D sensor is developed and integrated into a unified framework for control and feedback for the telepresence robot. We discuss the challenging problem of presenting environmental perception to a user with visual impairments and our solution for multi-modal interaction. We also explain the experimental design and protocols, and results with human subjects with and without visual impairments. Discussion on the performance of our system and our future goals are presented toward the end.

Objectives : The present study was conducted to evaluate the effects of automatically controlled rotating acupuncture (ACRA) on thermal allodynia in neuropathic pain rats, and to examine whether the endogenous opioid system mediates the effects of ACRA. Methods : For the neuropathic surgery, the right superior caudal trunk was resected at the level between S1 and S2 spinal nerves innervating the tail. Two weeks after the nerve injury, ACRA stimulation with 4 different stimulation conditions (i.e., angle and frequency of rotation: 90o+1Hz, 90o+1/4Hz, 360o+1Hz, and 360o+1/4Hz) was delivered to the Zusanli (ST36) acupoint for 15 min. The behavioral signs of thermal allodynia were evaluated by the tail immersion test (i.e., immersing the tail in cold (4℃) or warm (4℃) water and measuring the latency to an abrupt tail movement) before and after the stimulation. In an additional set of experiments, we examined the effects of naloxone (opioid Results : ACRA stimulations under all of the conditions above significantly relieved thermal antagonist, 2mg/kg, i.p.) on the action of ACRA stimulation. allodynia. There is no difference in the anti-allodynic effects among the 4 stimulation conditions. In addition, the effect of ACRA on thermal allodynia was reversed by naloxone pretreatment. Conclusion : These results indicate that ACRA stimulations have relieving effects on thermal allodynia in neuropathic pain rats, irrespective of stimulation parameters, and that this is mediated by the endogenous opioid system.
