        양춘사 추출물이 HepG2 세포에서 콜레스테롤 합성에 미치는 효과

        Dried fruits of Amomum villosum Lour. have been used an korean medicine to treat digestive diseases for a long time. It has been reported that Amomum villosum extracts(AVE) have effects for diabetes and steatosis in experimental models. But we did not find the report about the cholesterol synthesis inhibition effects of AVE. The objective of this study is to clarify the inhibitory effect of AVE against oleic acid and glucose-induced hypercholesterolemia in HepG2 cells. The results show that AVE had a significant inhibitory effect against oleic acid and glucose-induced cholesterol accumulation. Those effects seem to be caused by inhibition of AVE on oleic acid and glucose-induced decrease of HMG CoA reductase, which is the rate-limiting enzyme for cholesterol biosynthesis in liver. It is believed that the results of this study can provide basic data for the drug and functional food development of hypercholesterolemia treatments.

        패션일러스트레이션의 창의적 표현방법 연구 : 창의적 발상기법을 중심으로 Focusing on Creative Idea Technique

        The purpose of this study is to find out the creative visual expression in fashion illustration through the previous general theories on creativity. The creative visual expression, in fashion illustration works, can be summarized eight categories as follows. There are `maximization & minimization' to emphasize the illustrators' emotions and contemporary trends, proposed specially in body expression, inversion' seen as the forms of contra-perspective, upside-down, rearrangement of parts, diverted process, etc, 'Unusual uses' to add the effect of caricature, parody, and humor to the fashion illustration works, `extraordinary connection' seen as the shapes of various combination between animals, plants, stuff, and man, 'concealment & elimination' used frequently in creative visual expression includes a deformed human body, an abstracted human body, an extreme value contrast, simple colors, and dress in silhouette, `association' seen in various methods; comparing the similar shapes, describing a certain situation or details for analogizing the whole, `illusion' expressed in surreal, mysterious, and fairy depictions and `substitution' to imitate the composition and colors of masterpieces, copy the parts.

        아이트래커를 이용한 모니터 글자 색상에 따른 가독성에 대한 연구

        This study will be a basic research providing data which can reduce eye strain using monitor andelectric media by measuring legibility of text color on monitor. Methods: Total experimental subjects who don’thave color anomaly and best corrected visual acuity was over 1.0 were 50 and their mean age was 22.83±1.47. Reading speed test were carried out with 163 words and subjects who could read over 123 words were selectedfor legibility examination. Monitor background color was white and letter colors were black, blue, red, andyellow for the legibility examination. Results: In case of text color of black, blue, red, and yellow, Eventduration(sec) was measured to 41.89, 42.89, 45.32, and 56.28, respevtively, and reading error (number) wasmeasured to 1.94, 2.74, 3.36, and 5.14. Average of fixation duration(sec) was measured to 0.25, 0.26, 0.27, and0.32. Conclusions: In this paper, event Duration, reading error and average of fixation duration which canmeasure the legibility was reduced in a sequence of black blue, red, and yellow. 모니터 글자 색상에 따른 가독성을 측정하여, 모니터와 전자미디어 사용에서 안정피로를 감소시킬 수 있는데이터를 제공하기 위한 기초 연구이다. 방법: 색각이상이 없으며 최대교정시력 1.0 이상의 피검자 50명(평균연령22.93±1.68)을 대상으로 읽기속도 검사를 163개 단어 중 123개 이상의 단어를 읽은 피검자를 선정하였다. 모니터는 배경색을 white로 통일하였으며, 글자 색상은 black, blue, red, yellow 4가지 색상으로 가독성을 측정하였다. 결과: 글자색상 Black, Blue, Red, Yellow인 경우 평균가독시간은 각각 41.89초, 42.89초, 45.32초, 56.28초로 측정되었다. 독서오류에서는 Black 1.94개, Blue 2.74개, Red 3.36개, Yellow 5.14개로 측정되었다. 평균고정시간에서는 Black 0.25초, Blue0.26초, Red 0.27초, Yellow 0.32초로 측정되었다. 결론: 본 연구에서 가독성을 평가하는 항목인 가독시간, 독서오류, 평균고정시간에서 모두 Black, Blue, Red, Yellow순으로 가독성이 감소하는 경향을 보였다.

        밀러 코팅된 선글라스 렌즈의 광학적 특성에 관한 분석

        Purpose: In this study, the optical properties of mirror-coated sunglass lenses being sold on the market were analyzed. Methods: The transmittance of mirror-coated sunglass lenses was measured. They were classified as a pass or fail as per the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z80.3 color regulations. Additionally, the measured transmittance was analyzed by dividing the blue light area into Blue Light 1, 2, and 3. Results: Twelve mirror-coated sunglass lenses were measured as having 0% ultraviolet (UV) transmittance. This shows that they could prevent eye diseases caused by UV rays. Transmittance in the blue light area was measured from 5% up to 14%. Very low transmittance was measured with an average of 5.75% in Blue Light1. The spectral luminance results calculated in the visible spectrophotometry (380~750 nm) area at 555 nm had a high value of 13 for RG01, and 2.45 for RS02. Of the mirror-coated sunglass lenses analyzed following the ANSI Z80.3 regulations, 10 lenses passed and 2 lenses failed. Conclusions: The mirror-coated sunglass lenses shielded 100% of the UV, and the spectral luminance was significantly different. The RS01, RS02 lenses failed to meet the requirements of the ANSI Z80.3 regulations. 목적: 본 연구는 현재 시중에 판매되고 있는 밀러 코팅된 선글라스 렌즈의 광학적 특성에 대해 분석하였다. 방법: 12 개의 밀러 코팅된 선글라스 렌즈를 대상으로 투과율과 color에 대한 ANSI Z80.3규정에의 부합여부를 분석하였다. 또한 측정된 투과율 데이터는 청광영역을 청광영역1, 청광영역2, 청광영역3으로 나누어 분석하였다. 결과: 측정된 12 개의 밀러 코팅된 선글라스 렌즈는 자외선 투과율이 0%로 측정되어 자외선에 의한 안질환을 예방할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 청광영역에서의 투과율은 최대 14%에서 최소 5%로 측정되었다. 청광영역1(Blue Light1) 380~450 nm의 경우 평균 5.75%로 매우 낮은 투과율이 측정되었다. 가시광선(380~750 nm) 영역의 분광시감도를 계산한 결과, 가중치 값이 높은 555 nm에서 RG01은 13, RS02는 2.45가 계산되었다. ANSI Z80.3 규정에 의한 신호등 인지도분석에서는 측정된 10개 렌즈는 Pass, 2개 렌즈는 Fail에 해당하였다. 결론: 밀러 코팅된 선글라스 렌즈들은 눈에 해로운 UV를 100% 차단하였으며, 분광시감도 계산값은 큰 차이가 있었다. RS01, RS02 렌즈는 신호등 인지도 분석에서 Fail에 해당하였다.

        Multicentric Breast Cancer of the Axillary and Pectoral Breasts: A Case Report and Literature Review

        Multicentric cancer of the pectoral and ectopic breasts is extremely rare, and diagnosing this malignancy remains challenging because axillary breast cancer is easily misdiagnosed as lymph node metastasis. Moreover, there are no established treatment guidelines for this disease. We present our experience with a multicentric breast cancer patient who showed different responses to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) and underwent surgical treatments that differed from those in previous studies. In our case, the preoperative imaging of both lesions and subsequent core needle biopsy of each lesion were crucial, as these procedures confirm the diagnosis and help decide the chemotherapy regimen based on the subtype. After NAC, the patient underwent right breast-conserving surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB), and excision of accessory breast tissue in the right axilla. SLNB should be the initial step in staging multicentric breast cancer, unless imaging scan shows evidence of lymph node metastasis.

        아이트래커를 이용한 모니터 글자 대비도에 따른 눈의 피로도 연구

        This study is to investigate correlation between eye fatigue and letter contrast according to lettercontrast changes on monitor display. Methods: Reading speed test were carried out for 53 subjects (mean age:22.68±1.85 years) who have over Best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) 1.0, and 45 subjects, who could read over123 out of 163 letters among 53 subjects were selected. They were asked to read the letters which werecomposed of Black (contrast 100%), Dark gray (contrast 80%), Gray (contrast 80%), Light gray (contrast 30%)randomly. The change of their eye fatigue by letter contrast on monitor display was measured by monitoring theireyes with an eye-tracker while they were reading letters. Results: Event Duration (sec) was 33.635 for Black,32.266 Dark gray, 33.936 for Gray, and 34.848 for Light gray. Average of Fixation Duration (sec) was 0.224 forBlack, 0.218 for Dark gray, 0.239 for Gray and 0.243 for Light gray. Average of Pupil diameter (mm) was 41.133mm for Black, 41.160 mm for Dark gray, 40.880 mm for Gray and 40.459 mm for Light gray. Frequency (blinks/sec) was 0.211 for Black, 0.206 for Dark gray, 0.221 for Gray, and 0.238 for Light gray. Conclusions: EventDuration and average of Fixation Duration were the shortest for Dark gray and the longest for Light gray. Inaverage Pupil diameter was the biggest Dark gray and the smallest for Light gray. Blink Frequency (blinks/sec)was the lowest for Dark gray and the highest for Light gray. Visual fatigue by brightness of letters on monitordisplay was the least for Dark gray followed by Black, Gray and Light gray. 모니터 글자 대비 변화에 따른 눈의 피로도를 측정하여 모니터 글자 대비도와 눈의 피로도의 연관성에 대해 연구하고자 하였다. 방법: 최대교정시력 1.0 이상의 피검자 53명(평균연령 22.68±1.85) 중 읽기속도 검사에 통과한 45명(평균연령 22.68±1.85)을 대상으로 각각 Black(대비 100%), Dark gray(대비 80%), Gray(대비 60%), Lightgray(대비 30%) 글자로 이루어진 4가지 시표를 무작위로 읽도록 하였다. 피검자가 시표를 읽는 동안 아이트래커로피검자의 안구를 추적하여 모니터 글자 대비에 따른 피검자의 눈의 피로도의 변화를 측정하였다. 결과: 피검자들의평균측정시간은 Black, Dark gray, Gray, Light gray에서 33.635 sec, 32.266 sec, 33.936 sec, 34.848 sec로 측정되었다. 평균안구고정시간은 Black, Dark gray, Gray, Light gray에서 0.224 sec, 0.218 sec, 0.239 sec, 0.243 sec로 측정되었다. 평균동공크기는 Black, Dark gray, Gray, Light gray에서 41.133 mm, 41.160 mm, 40.880 mm, 40.459 mm로 측정되었다. 평균 눈깜박임 빈도수는 Black, Dark gray, Gray, Light gray에서 0.211 blinks/sec, 0.206 blinks/sec, 0.221 blinks/sec,0.238 blinks/sec로 측정되었다. 결론: 피검자들의 평균측정시간과 평균안구고정시간은 Dark gray가 가장 짧았으며,Light gray에서 가장 길었다. 평균 동공크기는 Dark gray에서 가장 컸으며, Light gray에서 가장 작았다. 평균 눈 깜박임 빈도수는 Dark gray에서 가장 적었으며, Light gray에서 가장 많았다. 모니터 글자 밝기에 따른 눈의 피로도는Dark gray에서 가장 적었으며 Black, Gray, Light gray 순으로 증가하였다.

        번스타인의 「새들 1권」에 나타난 움직임과 음악의 상관관계분석 및 교수방안

        Known as a pianist as well as a piano pedagogue and a composer, Bernstein, S. (1927~) composed various works for piano learners. Emphasizing especially the importance of understanding movements when it comes to musical expressions, he has created musical pieces based on live animals or insects. Most notable of all is Birds 1, which is his first suite for piano education that consists between 8 pieces of 1-2 pages. This particular piece was all composed based on impressions of birds’ movements and sounds using the modern composition techniques. The purpose of this research is to analyze the correlation between movements and music, and explore teaching methods which would be helpful for the effective learning of Birds. The results are as follows: In Birds 1, Bernstein, S. suggested 2-3 motives to express the characteristic movements and sounds of each bird, and employed techniques to develop and transform these motives. With the repeated or changed patterns of rhythm according to the unit and conversion of beats, the changes in the movements are naturally described. The phrase and form are separated depending on the developing patterns of the motives, resulting in changes in the atmosphere. With the registers, intervals, and harmony reflecting birds’ sounds or movements, the audience can imagine the kinds and sounds of different birds effectively. Furthermore, the continuous dissonance created from distinct use of atonality and bitonality. Birds 1 also implies the musical atmosphere effectively by employing descriptive directives that properly present the features of birds. Additionally, the piece delivers changes in musical nuance by the delicate use of dynamics and articulation. For the effective learning of this piece which describes the characteristics of birds by combining various musical elements, the researcher suggests three teaching methods: 1) learning by using images; 2) learning by using plastic animée; and 3) learning by creative activities in which movements and performance are combined. Through this study, it is expected that the piano teaching method through the understanding and application of movement becomes more active, and the piano work composed for education will be more actively used in the dance education field.
