제주산 로즈마리 에센셜 오일의 항염 및 피부 상재균에 대한 항균 활성

본 연구는 제주산 자생 로즈마리 에센셜 오일의 항염 및 피부상재균에 대한 항균 활성을 확인하기 위한 것이다. 로즈마리 에센셜 오일은 물 증류법으로 추출하였다. 로즈마리 에센셜 오일의 항염 효능을 확인하기 위하여 RAW 264.7 세포에서 LPS에 의해 유도된 NO와 PGE 2 의 생성을 농도 의존적 으로 억제하는 것을 확인하였다. Western blot 실험을 통해 이들을 생합성하는 효소인 iNOS, COX-2 단백질의 발현이 농도 의존적으로 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 전염증성 cytokine인 TNF-⍺와 IL-6의 생성 억제 효능을 확인하였다. 항생제 내성균주 각 2종을 포함한 S. epidermidis 3종, P. acnes 3종에 대한 항균 활성을 실험한 결과, paper disc법에서 저해환이 관찰되었고, MIC, MBC 실험을 통하여 균생육 저해와 사멸를 확인하였다. 위의 실험 결과로부터 로즈마리 에센셜 오일의 항염증, 항균 효능을 확인 하였으며 향후 화장품 및 스킨케어 소재로서 활용 가능성을 확인하였다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the anti-inflammatory effect and the antimicrobial activity to skin flora of essential oil from rosemary that naturally grown in Jeju. rosemary essential oil was extracted by water distillation essential oil extraction method. In order to confirm the anti-inflammatory activity of rosemary essential oil, it was confirmed that the production of NO and PGE 2 induced by LPS in RAW 264.7 cells was inhibited in a concentration-dependent manner. Western blot analysis showed that the expression of iNOS and COX-2, which are biosynthetic enzymes, decreased in a concentration-dependent manner. In addition, production of TNF-⍺ and IL-6 the pro-inflammatory cytokines were inhibited. Antimicrobial activities of three S. epidermidis and three P. acnes strains including two antibiotic resistant strains were observed in paper disc method and MIC and MBC tests showed inhibition of bacterial growth and death. From the results of the experiment, we confirmed that rosemary essential oil has the anti–inflammatory and antimicrobial efficacy and it could be used as a cosmetic and skin care material in the future.

A CMOS ROIC (ReadOut Integrated Circuit) for IRFPA (InfraRed Focal Plane Array) detector is a key component in uncooled thermal imaging systems. For a good IR (InfraRed) detector, low noise ROIC is needed. In this paper, a low noise CMOS OP-AMP for ROIC circuit of the 32×32 IR bolometer detector has been designed. HSPICE simulation results with a 0.35 ㎛ CMOS technology are unit gain bandwidth of 12.8 ㎒, 89 ㏈ open loop gain, 8 V/㎛ slew rate, 600 ㎱ settling time and 67° phase margin.

The IRFPA (InfraRed Focal Plane Array) ROIC (Readout Integrated Circuit) was designed in folded-cascode Op-Amp using 0.35 ㎛ CMOS technology. As the folded-cascode has high open-loop voltage gain and fast settling time, that used in many analog circuit designs. In this paper, folded-cascode Op-Amp for ROIC of the 32×32 IRFPA has been designed. HSPICE simulation results are unit gain bandwidth of 13.0 ㎒, 90.6 ㏈ open loop gain, 8 V/㎛. slew rate, 600 ㎱ settling time and 66° phase margin.
농촌 여성들의 ALAD 유전형질별 철분영양상태와 철분제 섭취에 따른 영양상태의 변화

Previous studies have suggested that delta-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase (ALAD) phenotype differently affect mineral metabolism. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of 6-month iron supplementation as syrup of NaFeEDTA in improvement of iron status according to ALAD genotype. One hundred thirty adult women living in rural areas of Asan were provided NaFeEDTA syrup once a week for 6 months at the dose of 64㎎ Fe/week. Three hundred control subjects were observed during the study period. Fasting blood was obtained for analyzing hemoglobin (Hb) and zinc protophorphyrin (ZPP) and serum was analyzed for ferritin, iron and total iron capacity (TIBC) levels before and after iron supplementation. Ninety percent of ALAD 1-1 (ALAD1) and 10% of ALAD 1-2 (ALAD2) genotype were observed in the control group. However, in the intervention group, 98% showed ALAD1 while only 2% was ALAD2, which is significantly lower proportions of ALAD2 compared to the control group (p<0.01). The iron status of intervention group significantly improved except for ferritin and TIBC regardless of ALAD genotype, while the control group did not show any changes in iron status except for ZPP. ZPP concentration of the control group significantly increased in both ALAD1 and 2 while the intervention group showed significantly decreased ZPP after supplementation in ALAD1. Iron supplementation in the form of NaFeEDTA seems to be effective in reduction of ZPP levels although ALAD2 did not show significant changes due to the small number. However, it is difficult to make a conclusion from these results, and more specified further investigation is needed with more participants. (Korean J Community Nutrition 11(6) : 771~778, 2006)
Chlorella miniata 의 고농도 배양을 위한 배양조건의 통계학적 최적화

본 연구는 국립낙동강생물자원관 생물자원은행에서 분양받은 담수 미세조류인 Chlorella miniata 의 세포 성장과 루테인 생성 증진을 위해 배양 조건을 반응 표면 분석법을 이용하여 통계학적 최적화를 수행하였다. 배양 조건의 주요 독립변수는 폭기(0.03 ~ 0.18 v.v.m.), 광도(0.0 ~ 800.0 μmol/m<SUP>2</SUP>/s)와 온도(18.0 ~ 28.0°C)로 설정하였으며 배양 조건이 세포 성장에 미치는 영향을 예측하기 위해 17개 실험조건을 설계하고 실험 결과를 바탕으로 2차 회귀 모델을 도출하였다. 배양 최적 조건은 0.13 v.v.m., 595.1 μmol/m<SUP>2</SUP>/s, 25.8 °C로 확인되었으며 최적 조건에서 42시간 배양 시 3.29 (OD680)로 세포가 최대로 성장하였다. 배양 최적 조건 도출 후 최적 배양 조건에서 성장된 C. miniata 의 루테인 함량을 HPLC를 이용하여 평가하였을 때 세포 농도 증가와 함께 루테인 생산성이 25 % 이상 증가함이 확인되어 통계학적 최적화를 통해 세포성장이 효과적으로 증가되고 결과적으로 루테인 생산 증가에 기여하였다. In this study, culture conditions were optimized using response surface analysis to enhance the cell growth and lutein production of Chlorella miniata, a freshwater microalgae received at the freshwater bioresources culture collection of the Nakdonggang National Institute of Biological Resources. The main independent variables selected for the culture conditions were aeration (0.03 ~ 0.18 v.v.m.), light intensity (0.0 ~ 800.0 μmol/m<SUP>2</SUP>/s), and temperature (18.0 ~ 28.0 ℃). To predict the effect of culture conditions on cell growth, second-order regression models were derived based on the results of 17 experimental sets. The maximum cell growth of 3.29 (OD680) was obtained at 42hr under 0.13 v.v.m., 595.1 μmol/m<SUP>2</SUP>/s, and 25.8°C. C. miniata was subsequently cultured under the optimal culture conditions and the lutein content was evaluated using HPLC. Increased cell growth was observed under optimal culture conditions, and lutein productivity was determined to increase by more than 25 %. Our results indicate that statistical-based optimization of culture conditions effectively increases the cell mass and subsequently contributes to increased lutein production.
