        결막의 점막연관 림프조직 림프종에서 냉동요법의 장기 결과

        목적: 결막의 점막연관 림프조직 림프종(Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma, MALT lymphoma)에서 냉동요법 후 장기간 경과관찰한 결과에 대해 보고하고자 한다. 대상과 방법: 2006년 1월부터 2010년 12월까지 결막에 국한된 MALT 림프종으로 진단 받고 냉동요법을 받은 후 최소한 1년 이상 경과 관찰하였던 8명 11안의 의무기록을 후향적으로 분석하였다. 결과: 평균 연령은 36.8세였으며, 평균 경과관찰 기간은 4.1년이었다. 한 차례의 냉동요법을 받은 후 3명 4안은 완치되었고 5명 7안은 재발되었다. 2명 2안은 두 차례의 냉동요법을 추가적으로 받은 후 완치되었고, 3명 5안은 두 차례의 냉동요법을 추가적으로 받은 후에도 재발되어 방사선치료를 받고 완치되었다. 냉동요법 후 큰 합병증은 없었으며, 4명 6안에서 경미한 결막붙음증만 관찰되었다. 결론: 냉동요법은 방사선치료에 비해 재발률은 높지만 비교적 간단히 시행할 수 있고 합병증이 거의 없는 치료 방법으로 결막에만 국한된 MALT 림프종 환자에서 방사선치료를 시행하지 못하는 경우에 대신할 수 있는 치료법으로 고려해 볼 수 있겠다. Purpose: To evaluate long-term outcomes after cryotherapy for conjunctival mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphomas. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 11 eyes of 8 patients who underwent cryotherapy with a confirmed histopathological di-agnosis of conjunctival MALT lymphoma between January 2006 and December 2010 and were followed up for at least a year. Results: The mean patient age was 36.8 years and the average follow-up was 4.1 years. Complete remission was achieved in 3 patients (4 eyes) and recurrence occurred in 5 patients (7 eyes) after the first cryotherapy. After the third cryotherapy, complete remission was achieved in 2 patients (2 eyes) and recurrence occurred in 3 patients (5 eyes). Therefore, 3 patients (5 eyes) un-derwent radiotherapy and finally achieved complete remission. After cryotherapy, significant complications were not observed except mild symblepharon in 4 patients (6 eyes). Conclusions: Cryotherapy, although having a higher recurrence rate than radiotherapy, is a simple treatment modality with fewer complications for patients. In the conjunctival MALT lymphoma patients who cannot undergo radiotherapy, cryotherapy should be considered as an alternative treatment modality.

        유세포분석을 이용한 레즈브라트롤이 인체 테논낭 섬유아세포의 생존에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구

        목적: 레즈브라트롤은 세포의 종류에 따라 세포보호 효과를 나타내거나 독성을 나타낸다. 레즈브라트롤이 배양된 인체 테논낭 섬유아세포의 생존에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 일차배양한 섬유아세포에 0, 10, 100 μM의 레즈브라트롤에 3일간 노출시킨 후 MTT assay를 이용하여 세포의 생존을 측정하였고, annexin-V/propidium iodide 이중염색 후 유세포분석을 시행하여 세포고사에 미치는 영향을 측정하였다. 결과: 레즈브라트롤은 10 μM의 농도에서부터 섬유아세포의 생존을 유의하게 저하시켰다(p=0.04). 유세포분석에서 10 μM의 농도에서는 섬유아세포의 세포고사를 유의하게 유발하지 않았으나(p=0.89), 100 μM의 농도에서는 섬유아세포의 세포고사를 유의하게 증가시켰다(p=0.003). 10 μM와 100 μM의 농도에서 세포괴사에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다(p=0.74, 0.33). 결론: 배양된 인체의 테논낭섬유아세포에 대해 레즈브라트롤은 세포의 생존을 저하시키며 세포고사를 유발하므로 인체의 테논낭섬유아세포에 대해 레즈브라트롤은 항증식작용을 나타낼 수 있을 것이다. Purpose: Resveratrol exerts cytoprotective or cytotoxic effects according to cell type. This study was performed to evaluate the effects of resveratrol on the survival of cultured human Tenon's capsule fibroblasts (HTFBs). Methods: Primarily cultured HTFBs were exposed to 0, 10, or 100 μM resveratrol for 3 days. Cellular survival was assessed us-ing the MTT assay and degree of apoptosis was analyzed with flow cytometry using annexin-V/propidium iodide double staining. Results: Resveratrol decreased the survival of HTFBs after exposure to 10 μM (p = 0.04). In flow cytometric analysis, 10 μM re-sveratrol did not affect the degree of apoptosis (p = 0.89), but 100 μM resveratrol increased the degree of apoptosis (p = 0.003). Both 10 and 100 μM resveratrol did not affect the degree of necrosis (p = 0.74, 0.33). Conclusions: Resveratrol decreased cellular survival of cultured HTFBs and induced apoptosis. Thus, resveratrol may exert an-tiproliferative effects on HTFBs.

        복시를 주소로 내원한 에드하임-체스터병 1예

        Purpose: We present a case of Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD) with diplopia. Case summary: A 56-year-old woman came to the hospital with a 6-week history of diplopia on left lateral gaze. The right eye showed mildly limited adduction. Humphrey automated perimetry demonstrated inferior bitemporal quadrantanopia. Orbital and brain magnetic resonance imaging revealed well-defined orbital masses in both intraconal orbits with homogenous enhancement, as well as multiple masses of homogenous signal intensity in the brain. Systemic evaluation showed involvement of the long bones, and retroperitoneum, but no involvement of the heart, or lungs. Incisional biopsy of the right orbital mass was performed. Histopathological examination showed numerous lipid-laden histiocytes and few multinucleated Touton giant cells. Immunohistochemical staining showed positivity for CD68, but negativity for CD1a, and ECD was therefore diagnosed. The patient received treatment with radiation therapy and interferon-α, but died due to sepsis secondary to urinary tract infection after 2 months. Conclusions: Except exophthalmos, diplopia may be the only initial symptom of an orbital mass. Although rare, the possibility of ECD should be considered in the differential diagnosis of both retrobulbar and orbital masses with diplopia. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2014;55(2):283-288

        커널 자원 관리 기법 설계 및 구현

        모듈은 동적으로 커널에 적재 가능한 오브젝트 파일로써 적재된 이후에는 커널의 권한으로 모든 자원에 대해 완벽한 접근 권한을 가진다. 따라서 잘못 작성된 모듈이나 혹은 정상적으로 작성된 모듈이라 할지라도 운영체제의 상황에 따라 비정상 수행되는 경우 시스템 전체의 안정성과 신뢰성에 치명적인 영향을 끼친다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 모듈이 발생시킬 수 있는 다양한 자원관련 문제를 해결하기 위해 커널 자원 보호자를 설계하였다. 커널 자원 보호자는 메모리, 주 번호, 워크 큐 등 운영체제가 관리하는 다양한 자원에 대한 보호를 제공한다. 제안된 기법은 리눅스 2.6.18에 실제 구현되었으며, 실험을 통해 본 논문에서 제안한 커널 자원 관리가 커널 자원을 효율적으로 보호하고 있음을 보였다. Module is an object file that can be loaded into operating system dynamically and has complete privileged access to all resources in kernel. Therefore trivial misuses in a module may cause critical system halts or deadlock situations. In this paper, we propose Kernel Resource Protector(KRP) scheme to reduce the various problems caused by module. KRP provides protections of a variety of kernel resources such as memory, major number and work queue resource. We implement the scheme onto linux kernel 2.6.18, and experimental results show that our scheme can protect kernel resources effectively.

        It is done in order the service robot which can provide discriminated waiting service for a customer waiting in eating out enterprises is designed in this paper, and a hailing to each other of a user is got, and to implement an eating out doumi service robot with commercialization. Specially, an URC system is used, and processing of a robot and RUPI 1.2.001 and the RUPI 1.2.002 which improved RUPI 1.0 in order to provide sensing environment are applied, and URC server and client communication protocol and standard interface for application SW of an URC robot are implemented individually, and Web service of a working together method between URC server and contents offer server of KT is going to be implemented.

        URC의 개념은 “언제 어디서나, 나와 함께 하며, 나에게 필요한 서비스를 제공하는 로봇”으로 간단하게 정의할 수 있다. URC 기술은 다양한 로봇 단말이나 환경 내 컴퓨터와 URC 서버 간의 통신 프레임워크 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 지능형 로봇 시뮬레이션 툴을 이용하여 개발자가 쉽고 편리하게 지능적이고 능동적인 URC 서버와 연계하여 URC 로봇을 시뮬레이션 할 수 있는 시스템을 모델링하였다. URC 로봇 시뮬레이션 시스템은 다양한 로봇과 다양한 환경을 구성가능하며, 개발자가 다양한 개발 언어를 사용하여 제어 가능하도록 구성하였다. URC 시스템과 연계하여 다양한 로봇과 환경을 3D로 구성하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 다양한 콘텐츠 개발을 가능하도록 지능형 로봇 시뮬레이션 시스템을 설계 및 구현 하였다. URC 통신 프로토콜 및 URC 서버는 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)에서 개발된 Planet v.1.2 ; Network Protocol , CAMUS( Context-Aware Middleware for URC Systems); URC Server, SAM( Service Agent Manager) v.1.2 ; Service API 모듈을 기반으로 하였다. This paper uses URC technology. and various robots are implemented with a design.         담도 내에 장기간 플라스틱스텐트 거치 후 발생한 Stent-stone Complex

        Plastic biliary stents are commonly used during endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography. Main indication for biliary stenting is benign or malignant obstruction. Plastic stents can be used as an escape route in patients with large common bile duct stones to provide drainage until definitive treatment. But, stent occlusion is the main disadvantage, limiting their patency to around 3 months, after which replacement is recommended. A biliary stent can act as a nidus for the biliary stone formation leading to stent-stone complex after long-term stent placement. This report was a case of a large stent-stone complex after plastic stent placement for 4 years. The stent-stone complex was successfully removed by mechanical lithotripsy and ballon catheter. In all other cases where plastic stents are placed into the common bile duct we should keep in mind that stents can act as nidus for stone formation, as all foreign bodies do.

        The present study was conducted to estimate the antioxidant activities, physicochemical properties and biological activities in Beauveria bassiana. Glucose was the most abundant in B. bassiana (15.2 g?L?1) of 3 day medium by the HPLC analysis of free sugar. Citric acid were observed the highest components in B. bassiana (276.4 mg?L?1) of 3 day medium by the HPLC analysis of organic acid. The composition of Glutamate was the highest among amino acids in B. bassiana (987.0 pmol?μl?1) of 3 day medium. Na was the highest among minerals. It was focused on antioxidant and anticancer activities of B. bassiana. The highest contents of total polyphenol (6.51 ± 0.04 ppm) and flavonoid (1.10 ± 0.06 ppm) were detected in the B. bassiana of 15 day medium. The IC50 value of DPPH radical scavenging activity was ranged from 263.4 ± 13.3 to 461.9 ± 23.9 μg?ml?1 SOD activity was ranged from 93.7 ± 16.6 to 99.8 ± 3.8 μg?ml?1. Also ABTS radical activity was ranged from 99.7 ± 1.2 to 156.9 ± 2.9 μg?ml?1 of which the strongest activity was determined of 15 day medium. Especially, 93.7 ± 16.6 μg?ml?1 of 15 day medium showed highest activity by SOD. In cytotoxicity test against three cancer cell lines, HepG2 (liver), MCF-7 (breast) and A549 (lung), showed the highest toxicity with IC50 values of HepG2 (127.8 ± 2.3 μg?ml?1) cell lines of 10 day medium. Also MCF-7 (129.1 ± 6.8 μg?ml?1), A549 (163.8 ± 4.1 μg?ml?1) showed the highest toxicity of 5 day medium. These data suggest Enthomopathogenic of B. bassiana culture medium could be potential candidate for natural antioxidants.
