Ni-Cr-Al metal-foam-supported catalysts for steam methane reforming (SMR) are manufactured by applying a catalytic Ni/Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> sol-gel coating to powder alloyed metallic foam. The structure, microstructure, mechanical stability, and hydrogen yield efficiency of the obtained catalysts are evaluated. The structural and microstructural characteristics show that the catalyst is well coated on the open-pore Ni-Cr-Al foam without cracks or spallation. The measured compressive yield strengths are 2-3 MPa at room temperature and 1.5-2.2 MPa at 750℃ regardless of sample size. The specimens exhibit a weight loss of up to 9-10% at elevated temperature owing to the spallation of the Ni/Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> catalyst. However, the metal-foam-supported catalyst appears to have higher mechanical stability than ceramic pellet catalysts. In SMR simulations tests, a methane conversion ratio of up to 96% is obtained with a high hydrogen yield efficiency of 82%.

The Fe-22wt.%Cr-6wt.%Al foams were fabricated via the powder alloying process in this study. The structural characteristics, microstructure, and mechanical properties of Fe-Cr-Al foams with different average pore sizes were investigated. Result of the structural analysis shows that the average pore sizes were measured as 474 ㎛ (450 foam) and 1220 ㎛ (1200 foam). Regardless of the pore size, Fe-Cr-Al foams had a Weaire-Phelan bubble structure, and α-ferrite was the major constituent phase. Tensile and compressive tests were conducted with an initial strain rate of 10<sup>-3</sup>/s. Tensile yield strengths were 3.4 MPa (450 foam) and 1.4 MPa (1200 foam). Note that the total elongation of 1200 foam was higher than that of 450 foam. Furthermore, their compressive yield strengths were 2.5 MPa (450 foam) and 1.1 MPa (1200 foam), respectively. Different compressive deformation behaviors according to the pore sizes of the Fe-Cr-Al foams were characterized: strain hardening for the 450 foam and constant flow stress after a slight stress drop for the 1200 foam. The effect of structural characteristics on the mechanical properties was also discussed.

The purpose of this study was to find strategies for characterizing the Department of Christian Education. That Christian education exists as an independent academic department in theological universities and seminaries basically assumes that it has an identity essentially different from theology and that, as a part of social science, it has its own color distinguished from the Department of Education. Of course, this color can be expressed specifically through the characterization of the academic department, but the characterization should be preceded by the establishment of the ideal image of a capable person pursued by the Department of Christian Education. It is because, although the professors in the department are diverse in major and teaching method, such an ideal image of a capable person sought by the department can be a common denominator that bring forth unity under the big umbrella of Christian education. In order to establish the ideal image of a capable person pursued by the Department of Christian Education, first of all, this study analyzed the educational purposes and goals of the department and derived three images: one who has a healthy character; one who has a spiritual identity as a Presbyterian Christian; and one who has specialties in the practice of Christian education. Second, this study suggested areas for the characterization of the Department of Christian Education, and the basic premises for the discussion were: that it is compatible with the regional characteristics of the Yeongnam region; that it is feasible; and that it is agreeable to the professors, students, and alumni of the school. As a result, three areas were suggested according to the developmental stage, which are specialists in education, teachers of Christian alternative schools, and specialists in Christian home education. Lastly, this study proposed strategies for the characterization of the department including connection to field works for building education systems, establishment of certification systems, improvement in curriculums, follow-up of graduates, fund raising for characterization, and MOUs with similar academic departments in foreign countries.

In this paper, a new method for identifying the joint properties from the measured FRFs of an assembled system and its substructures is presented. All of parameters of the joint system should be taken into consideration in a model for the joint, because the dynamic behaviours of the assembled system can be generally affected by all parameters at its joint. In order to comprehensively identify all parameters of joint system, a new substructure synthesis algorithm with a flexible joint model based on FRF data has been developed, and then the joint identification technique based on this new algorithm is introduced here. The validation of the identification and coupling method is conducted by using various beams combined with bolted joints. Results show that the FRFs of assembled structure can be estimated accurately by using the proposed coupling method with joint effect obtained from the proposed identification technique.

웹 브라우저의 고속 실행을 위한 뉴 메모리 기반 캡처 기법

본 논문에서는 웹 브라우저의 사용자 응답성을 개선하기 위해 뉴 메모리를 활용하는 기법을 제안한다. 프레임버퍼에 저장된 기본 웹 페이지의 실행 화면을 뉴 메모리에 캡처하고, 이를 웹 브라우저 실행 시 그대로 복원함으로써 사용자가 체감하는 웹 브라우저의 응답성을 크게 개선한다. 또한 제안하는 기법을 뉴 메모리 에뮬레이션 보드에 직접 구현하여 그 성능을 검증하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the Cognitive Behavioral Training(CBT) on decreasing marital distress, and enhancing couple relationship. CBT was focused on decreasing couple dysfunctional behaviors and cognitions, and enhancing couple satisfaction and stability. In order to examine th effect of this training, two kinds of measuring scales were used, Marital Distress Scale(MDS) and Marital Relationship Scale(MRS). MDS had two subscales: Behavioral Marital Distress Scale(BMDS) measuring couple dysfunctional extent of reciprocity, communication skills, problem-solving, and anger expressions, and Coginitive Marital Distress Scale(CMDS) measuring the couple dysfunctional extent of perceptions, attributions, expectancies, assumptions, standards of marital distress. MRS had two subscales: Couple Satisfaction Scale(CSS) measuring the extent of couple satisfaction, and Couple Stability Scale(CSTS) measuring the extent of couple stability. The subjects in this study were 18 married volunteers who wanted to enroll in the training group. All subjects were trained for four 240 minute sessions for four weeks. All subjects received the pre-test, post-test, and followup-test seven weeks later by using the MDS and MRS. The conclusions obtained from the results and discussions of this research are as follows: 1.CBT was effective in decreasing behaviors of marital distress. 2. CBT was effective in enhancing couple relationship(couple satisfaction and couple stability).
