예비유아교사의 두뇌우성 사고유형과 창의적 인성 간의 관계 = The Relationships between the Brain Dominance Thinking Types and Creative Personality of Pre-Service Early Childhood Teachers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to identity the relationships between the brain dominance thinking types(A, B, C, D quadrant thinking type) and creative personality of pre-service early childhood teachers. The subjects were 183 undergraduate students from Department of Early Childhood Education of University or Collage University in Busan. To achieve the purpose of this study, the tests were conducted by using the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument and WKOPAY(What of Person Are You?) for undergraduate students.
Results of this study as follows ; first, the relationships between A quadrant thinking type and B quadrant thinking type, C quadrant thinking type and D quadrant thinking type were significantly positively correlated. Second, the left cerebral hemisphere and limbic hemisphere were significantly positively correlated to the acceptance of authority, negatively correlated to the disciplined imagination and creative personality, and didn't correlated to the self-confidence and awareness of others.
Also, the left limbic hemisphere were significantly negatively correlated to inquisitiveness. The right cerebral hemisphere and limbic hemisphere were significantly negatively correlated to the acceptance of authority, positively correlated to the disciplined imagination and creative personality, and didn't correlated to self-confidence, inquisitiveness and awareness of others. Third, the creative personality was significant difference according to brain dominance thinking types. That is, the creative personality of right limbic hemisphere was significantly higher than that among brain dominance thinking types. There were significantly difference the acceptance of authority, awareness of others, disciplined imagination and creative personality among elements of creative personality according to the brain dominance thinking types.
Therefore, there was a close relation between the brain dominance thinking types and creative personality of pre-service early childhood teachers.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 창의성 증진에 영향을 미치는 변인 중 유아교사의 창의성 인성에 관련된 요인으로 두뇌우성 사고유형을 적용함으로써 두뇌우성 사고유형과 창의적 인성간의 관계를 밝히고자 하였다. 연구대상은 예비유아교사인 유아교육과 3, 4학년 대학생 183명으로 이들에게 두뇌우성 사고유형 및 창의적 인성을 측정하였다. 검사도구는 Herrmann의 두뇌우성 검사(BDI)와 Torrance의 자기보고식 창의적 성격검사(WKOPAY)를 사용하였다. 자료의 처리는 4가지 두뇌 사고유형과 창의적 인성간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson 상관분석을 실시하였고, 두뇌우성 사고유형에 따른 창의적 인성의 차이를 밝히고자 One-way Anova를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 좌상뇌와 좌하변연계는 정적 상관을 보이고, 우상뇌와 우하변연계는 관련성이 높지만, 좌상뇌. 좌하변연계는 우상뇌, 좌하변연계와 부적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 좌상뇌, 좌하변연계는 권위의 수용과 정적 상관인 반면, 적극적인 상상력 및 창의적 인성과 부적 상관을 보였고, 좌하변연계는 탐구심과도 부적 상관을 보였다.
또한 우상뇌, 우하변연계는 권위의 수용과 부적 상관인 반면, 적극적인 상상력 및 창의적 인성과는 정적 상관을 보였고, 자신감, 탐구심 및 타인에 대한 의식은 어떤 관계도 없었으며, 특히 자신감 및 타인에 대한 의식은 어떤 두뇌우성 사고유형과도 관계가 없었다. 셋째, 창의적 인성은 우하변연계가 가장 높고, 좌상뇌 지배형이 가장 낮았다. 또한 권위의 수용과 타인에 대한 의식은 좌상뇌가 가장 높고 우하변연계 지배형이 가장 낮았으며, 자신감과 탐구심은 집단별 차이가 없었고, 적극적인 상상력은 우하변연계가 가장 높고 좌상뇌가 가장 낮았다. 결론적으로 두뇌우성 사고유형은 창의적 인성과 밀접한 관련이 있다는 것이 밝혀졌으며 두뇌우성 사고유형에 따라 예비유아교사의 창의적 인성을 예측할 수 있다는 것을 시사한다.
