    The purpose of this study was to probe relations between the Brain Dominance Thinking Type(A, B, C, D quadrant thinking type) and Technological Problem Solving Style, and contribute to development of teaching-model in technology education
    To achieve the purpose of this study, The tests were conducted by using two kinds of test(Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument, Technological Problem Solving Style Test) for the third year middle school students

    The result of this study were as follows:
    1. In the relationship among Brain Dominance Thinking Types, the relationships between A quadrant thinking type and B quadrant thinking type, C quadrant thinking type and D quadrant thinking type, respectively showed positive relations.
    2. In the relationship of between Technological Problem Solving Style and its subordinate province, there were positive relations of all valuables.
    3. Similar differences were shown, followed by Brain Dominance Thinking Type in Technological Problem Solving Style, Especially students belonging to D quadrant thinking type had high average point in Technological Problem Solving Style.
    4. Similar differences were shown in Problem Solving Confidence and Problem Solving Approach Style(subordinate province of Technological Problem Solving Style), but similar differences were not shown statistically in Problem Solving Personal Control.
    Especially, The students having D quadrant thinking type had higher average than other groups in Problem Solving Confidence and Problem Solving Approach Style.
    Therefore, it was proven that D quadrant thinking type is having a similar effect on Technological Problem Solving Style, through this study.
    Based on the result of this study, so as to improve Technological Problem Solving Style, it is needed that the teaching strategy related to creative․inventive․divergent thinking, which is speciality of D quadrant thinking type, is organized.
