유아교사를 위한 다문화교육 연수 프로그램 구성 및 적용 효과 = A Study on the Development and Effects of an Early Childhood Teacher Training Program for Multicultural Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to compose an early childhood teacher training program for multicultural education and apply it to actual scenes of education,thus examining its influence upon teachers’multicultural efficacy and attitude and its changing process. For this, study questions were established as follows: First, what is the development of an early childhood teacher training program for multicultural education? Second, what is the application effect of an early childhood teacher training program for multicultural education?The composition of an early childhood teacher training program for multicultural education was carried out by three steps: a preparation step, an analysis step, and a composition step. In order to examine the effect of application of early childhood teacher training programs for multicultural education, 60 early childhood teacher s who were working for edu-care facilities in J-gu, Seoul were sampled. In order to find out the effect of application of the program, multicultural efficacy and attitude were examined before and afterthe application of the program. Based on the above process, the effect of application of the program can be summarized as follows: First, after the application of early childhood teacher training programs for multicultural education, the average multicultural efficacy of the experiment group was higher than that of the control group the difference between both groups was statistically significant. Therefore, the program seemed to be effective in the improvement of teachers’ multicultural efficacy. Second, the average multicultural attitude of the experiment group was higher than that of the control group the difference between both groups was statistically significant. Therefore, the program seemed to be effective in the improvement of teachers’ multicultural attitudes. Third, as teachers’ changing process presented in the course of application of the program, presented a positive change in multicultural efficacy and attitude.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 유아교사를 위한 다문화교육 연수프로그램을 구성하고 현장 교사들에게 적용하여 교사의 다문화적 효능감과 다문화적 태도에 미치는 영향과 변화 과정을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 프로그램을 구성하고 프로그램 적용 효과를 검증하였다. 관련 문헌을 검토하고 다문화교육 연수에 대한 요구조사를 실시하여 프로그램을 구성하였다. 적용 효과를 알아보기 위해서 어린이집 교사를 대상으로 프로그램을 적용하고 효과를 알아보기 위해 프로그램 적용 사전과 사후에 다문화적 효능감과 태도에 대한 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 본 프로그램은 교사의 다문화적 효능감과 태도를 향상시키는데 효과가 있음을 알 수 있으며 프로그램 적용과정에서 나타난 교사의 변화 과정은 다문화적 효능감과 태도에서 긍정적인 변화를 보였다.
