다문화가정 유아의 초기적응프로그램 실시가 유아교사의 다문화교육 신념 및 효능감에 미치는 영향 = A study of faith and efficacy of childhood education teachers who complete the early adaptation program for multicultural family children

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study identifies how childhood education teachers improve, through an early adaptation program for multicultural family children, in their multicultural education faith and efficacy. The study's objective is to improve the program developed to identify the adaptation effects of multicultural family children. Selected as subjects were childhood education teachers in childhood education centers in Gwangju, Jeonnam and Jeonbuk. The study measured, before and after the program, the faith and efficacy of childhood education teachers in the experimental group(n=19) and the control group (n=18), comparing them. The study, observed that the experimental group (subjects completed the early adaptation program) showed improvements in the following areas: understanding of childhood education teachers on multi-culture, sensitivity to multi-culture, multicultural educational courses, multicultural classroom operation, multicultural institution culture, working with the local community, and efficacy in institution and parent partnerships, faith and general life aspects, class function aspects, and human relation aspects. Accordingly, the study concludes that the early adaptation program is an important course for childhood education teachers responsible for multicultural family children and that it improves their teaching competencies in the actual educational field.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 다문화가정 유아를 위한 초기적응프로그램에 대한 유아교사의 다문화 신념과 효능감 증진효과를 살펴보는 관점에서 수행되었다. 프로그램 적용효과를 알아보기 위해 광주․전남․전북 유아교육기관에 재직 중인 유아교사를 대상으로 초기적응프로그램을 실시한 실험집단 19명과 비교집단 18명에게 사전사후 유아교사의 신념과 효능감을 조사하여 변화정도를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 초기적응프로그램을 적용한 실험집단은 비교집단에 비해 유아교사의 다문화 이해, 다문화 민감성, 다문화 교육과정, 다문화 교실운영, 다문화 기관풍토, 지역사회, 기관, 그리고 부모 파트너십 신념과 일반생활측면, 수업기능측면, 인간관계측면의 효능감에 향상을 보였다. 따라서 다문화가정 유아의 초기적응프로그램 실시는 다문화가정 유아를 담당하고 있는 교사의 실제 교육현장 지도역량을 높이기 위한 중요한 과정이라고 볼 수 있다.
