대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향 : 대학 사회적 자본의 매개효과 = The Effect of Career Decision-making Self-efficacy on Career Maturity: The Mediating Effect of Social Capital of College Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to verify the direct and indirect effects on the relationship between career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity and the mediating effect of the social capital of the college. In particular, it investigated the mediating effect of the social capital of the college on students, regarding the relationship between their career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity. To this end, the study surveyed 453 college students in the G region, regarding their career decision-making self-efficacy, career maturity, and the social capital of their college. Among the 453 responses received, 409 were considered for analysis; no-responses and junior college students’ responses were excluded. Reliability analysis was conducted for each question. Further, analyses pertaining to frequency, descriptive statistics, and inter-variable correlation were conducted. Additionally, structural equation modeling(SEM) was conducted for hypothesis verification. The results of this study were as follows. First, college students’ career decision-making self-efficacy had a direct effect on their career maturity. Second, the social capital of their college had a direct influence on their career maturity. Finally, the social capital of the college had a mediating effect on the relationship between students’ career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity. These results showed that career decision-making self-efficacy did not entirely raise career maturity, but its influence was mediated by the environmental resources of the college.
