보육시설의 조직문화, 초임보육교사의 배경변인, 교사효능감 및 직무스트레스 간의 관련성에 관한 연구 = Relationships among Organizational Culture of Child Care Centers, Teachers` Background Variables, Teacher Efficacy, and Job Stress of Novice Child Care Teachers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of organizational culture of child care centers and teacher efficacy on job stress among novice child care teachers. Data were collected from 231 child care teachers working in 80 national public child care centers and 151 private child care centers located in Seoul. All of them were newly appointed teachers with less than a year of employment. The major findings of this study were as follows: The novice child care teachers showed high levels of teacher efficacy and slightly low levels of job stress. They also perceived high levels of development, rational, group, and hierarchical organizational culture in the centers where they worked. The hierarchical multiple regression analyses revealed that the perceived levels of rational organizational culture in the child care centers, lengths of employment, and ages of children under care significantly predicted the levels of novice child care teachers` efficacy. The levels of teachers` job stress were also significantly predicted by the perceived levels of group, rational, and hierarchical organizational culture in the centers, their working hours, and levels of teacher efficacy.
