      • 영상 고유의 칼라 구조 정보를 이용한 내용기반 영상 데이터베이스 검색

        In this paper, we propose content-content image database retrieval system using color N x M- grams is a small pattern with color structural information. And, Color NxM- grams is a extended version of Soffer's NxM- grams to include color information within an image. To obtain feature vectors using Color N x M- grams, we transform the pixels of an image into three-valued 0, 1 and 2, respectively 0 is red region, 1 is green region and 2 is blue region. In the experimental results using the 329 image database, the proposed method shows about 83%, 100% and 0% in terms of Exact matching, retrieval rate and Error retrieval Rate.

      • C++를 이용한 통신 시뮬레이터의 설계 및 구현

        In this paper, we are designed and implemented communication simulator, for two systems which communicates in peer-to-peer and simulating for protocol, to verify the interwork not yet designed system Peerl and now being operated Peer2. To begin with, after the investigation in Interworking Standard in Interface Control Document and check the satisfied requirements in each system, the environment of simulator is set up. We examine Interworking Standard in FSM representation. And in protocol design, partial steps follows necessary procedure of protocol engineering. Simulator is implemented in C++ and, to interwork two systems smoothly, the whole system will be merged. Finally, a design and implementation of simulator is completed by confirming simulation results of simulator and Interworking Standard coincide.

      • 통신망 관리 시스템간의 연동 시스템 설계

        This paper presents a system for internetworking between different network management protocols. The interworking system between SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) and CMIP(Common Management Information Protocol) has been designed. SNMP has been used as a standard protocol in Internet and CMIP is selected as management protocol in TMN(Telecommunication Management Network) in Korea. A new approach has been introduced, so the managed object defined in this paper can support several management interfaces. This approach is different from previous researches using protocol conversion technique between management protocols. Our approach provides some benifits, for example, even if new management protocol has to be introduced, the new gateway system need not be designed. It can be achieved through minimum modification in the interface of the managed object. For this, we can support managed objects previously defined using MOVI(managed object view interface) concept presented in our previous research.

      • DCT 기반의 질감 특징을 이용한 내용기반 영상정보 검색시스템

        Using texture information of image, an efficient content-based image database retrieval system is presented. First, we examine existing retrieval methods and describe their problems. We then propose a retrieval method using DCT coefficients. For image retrieval, it extracts remarkable coefficients according to some directions and uses them as feature vectors. Therefore, the proposed method shows more simple than existing feature extraction ones and reduced the processing time. Especially, we may also have the efficiency of storage space because it is possible to extract features in the compressed domain.

        Digital watermarking, a concept of embedding a speclal pattern, uses an algorithm of inserting a watermark to protect the copyright of media. It has recently become Important in various application areas. A variety of watermark techniques have been proposed by many authors In the last several years. However, there are not enough analysis and comparison on the previous researches. In this paper, for the understanding of the previous works and the help for the future related research, we try to analyze and classify the conventional watermark techniques from the various points of view which are the class of inserted media category, the perceptlvity, the robustness, the inserting watermark type the processing domain, the necessity of an original media.

      • 유해 정보 차단을 위한 검색 시스템

        On the internet, enormous information is created and destroyed everyday, but we waste time and resources on searching information because we don't know which information is valid. And harmful information that gives juveniles bad influences becomes issues because juveniles accept them without proper filtration. So this study suggests a searching system to offer useful information on the internet. This searching system blocks accesses of invalid sites, and blocks harmful sites by judging whether sites are harmful or not in case that sites are valid. Therefore, this system prevents juveniles from accessing to harmful sites and always offer useful information on the internet.

      • 통합 통신망 관리 시스템 구축 방안 연구

        This paper presents a system for internetworking between different network management protocols. The internetworking system between SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) and CMIP(Common Management Information Protocol) has been designed. SNMP has been used as a standard protocol in Internet while CMIP has been selected as management protocol in OSI network. This approach is different from previous researches which convert protocols between management protocols. We have newly defined manage objects structure. Thus, even if a new management protocol would be introduce in addition, the new gateway system needs not be designed. We can achieve it through minimum modification in the interface of the managed objects. So, we can support managed objects defined previously using MOVI(Manage Object View Interface) concept presented in our previous research. Through this research, we have some additional benefits: it is able to internetwork between more complicated network management protocols, to increase usefulness of SNMP and CMIP, also it will use in internetworking between new network management protocols.

      • 신경망을 이용한 지문 정보 처리 시스템

        Fingerprint recognition includes many complex pre-processings such as, binarization, thinning, feature extraction and etc. These pre-processings exhaust most of time for fingerprint recognition. For real-time processing, in this paper, we propose a method, which first classfies input fingerprints using basic ridge patterns into some categories and then directly recognizes input fingerprint using ART2 neural network without some pre-prosessings. As we remove pre-processing steps for recognition, the processing time and the distortion of input fingerprint image can be reduced. In experimental results, it takes about 0.68 sec to recognize one input fingerprint and shows 99% recognition rate.

        A system that designed and implemented in this paper was composed of database system, online survey system, OLAP system, and online report system. Data of this system put in online survey system, and summated past saved database data. And OLAP system analyzed input data. Online report system prints output at real time that composed of basic information(tables and graphs etc.) for policy determine. All system operate on WWW. Also this data are using in high class statistics program.
