Leader-following Consensus of Heterogeneous Multi-agent Systems with Packet Dropout

        Zhixin Liu,Hongjiu Yang,Xiu You,Ling Zhao 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2015 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.13 No.5

This paper studies the leader-following consensus problem for heterogeneous multi-agent systems composed of linear second-order integrator agents and nonlinear Euler-Lagrange agents in two aspects. The consensus problem of heterogeneous multi-agent systems is discussed with unknown velocities, time-varying disturbances and packet dropout by introducing extended state observer. Sufficient conditions are established to ensure that all following agents could reach consensus with a virtual leader, which provide the allowable upper bound of packet drop rate. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the theoretical results.

On the receding contact between a two-layer inhomogeneous laminate and a half-plane

Zhixin Liu,Jie Yan,Changwen Mi 국제구조공학회 2018 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.66 No.3

This paper considers the smooth receding contact problem between a homogeneous half-plane and a composite laminate composed of an inhomogeneously coated elastic layer. The inhomogeneity of the elastic modulus of the coating is approximated by an exponential function along the thickness dimension. The three-component structure is pressed together by either a concentrated force or uniform pressures applied at the top surface of the composite laminate. Both semianalytical and finite element analysis are performed to solve for the extent of contact and the contact pressure. In the semianalytical formulation, Fourier integral transformation of governing equations and boundary conditions leads to a singular integral equation of Cauchy-type, which can be numerically integrated by Gauss-Chebyshev quadrature to a desired degree of accuracy. In the finite element modeling, the functionally graded coating is divided into homogeneous sublayers and the shear modulus of each sublayer is assigned at its lower boundary following the predefined exponential variation. In postprocessing, the stresses of any node belonging to sublayer interfaces are averaged over its surrounding elements. The results obtained from the semianalytical analysis are successfully validated against literature results and those of the finite element modeling. Extensive parametric studies suggest the practicability of optimizing the receding contact peak stress and the extent of contact in multilayered structures by the introduction of functionally graded coatings.

Comparison and Identification of Optimal Machine Learning Model for Rapid Optimization of Printed Line Characteristics of Aerosol Jet Printing Technology

        Mingdong Li,Zhixin Liu,Shuai Yin,Joon Phil Choi,Haining Zhang 한국정밀공학회 2024 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.11 No.1

Among the various direct-write (DW) techniques, aerosol jet printing (AJP) has the advantages of high resolution (~ 10 μm) and flexible working distance (2-5 mm). On this basis, it has emerged as a promising DW technology to precisely customize complex electrical functional devices. However, the micro-electronic devices fabricated using AJP suffer from low electrical performance because of inferior printed line geometric characteristics. Specifically, high edge roughness lines are detrimental to the uniformity of the formed electrical functional devices. In addition, the low controllability of the printed line width may induce overlap of narrowly spaced circuits or unnecessary intertrack voids, which will hinder the wide application of AJP technology in advanced electronic manufacturing industry. Therefore, ensuring high precision of the line width and low edge roughness is of primary importance for AJP technology. In this research, a machine learning framework is proposed for rapid optimization of printed line characteristics. In the proposed framework, SHGFR and CGFR were considered as input variables, and line width and line roughness were taken as the target responses. Three representative machine learning algorithms, tree-based random forest regression, kernel-based support vector machine, and Bayesian-based Gaussian process regression, were then adopted for model development. Subsequently, the identified optimal machine learning model was integrated with a NSGA-III for rapid optimization of printed line characteristics, and experiments validated the effectiveness of the adopted approach.

A key-insulated CP-ABE with key exposure accountability for secure data sharing in the cloud

( Hanshu Hong ),( Zhixin Sun ),( Ximeng Liu ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2016 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.10 No.5

ABE has become an effective tool for data protection in cloud computing. However, since users possessing the same attributes share the same private keys, there exist some malicious users exposing their private keys deliberately for illegal data sharing without being detected, which will threaten the security of the cloud system. Such issues remain in many current ABE schemes since the private keys are rarely associated with any user specific identifiers. In order to achieve user accountability as well as provide key exposure protection, in this paper, we propose a key-insulated ciphertext policy attribute based encryption with key exposure accountability (KI-CPABE-KEA). In our scheme, data receiver can decrypt the ciphertext if the attributes he owns match with the self-centric policy which is set by the data owner. Besides, a unique identifier is embedded into each user`s private key. If a malicious user exposes his private key for illegal data sharing, his identity can be exactly pinpointed by system manager. The key-insulation mechanism guarantees forward and backward security when key exposure happens as well as provides efficient key updating for users in the cloud system. The higher efficiency with proved security make our KI-CPABE-KEA more appropriate for secure data sharing in cloud computing.

The rational use of regenerative braking energy for urban rail transit trains directly affects the voltage safety of the traction power supply system and the electric braking function of the train. It is also of great significance for the implementation of train traction energy saving. This paper proposes a scheme of train regenerative braking ground absorbing device based on super-capacitor energy storage. It adopts multiple modular Buck/Boost DC conversion topology to realize bidirectional control of electric energy and stabilize the secondary utilization of traction network voltage and regenerative electric energy. According to the scheme of this paper, the energy storage device was developed and verified in the engineering of the Guangzhou Line 6 main line traction substation. The test indicators have met the design expectations.

Comparison of immunoadjuvant activities of four bursal peptides combined with H9N2 avian influenza virus vaccine

        Cong Zhang,Jiangfei Zhou,Zhixin Liu,Yongqing Liu,Kairui Cai,Tengfei Shen,Cheng-Shui Liao,Chen Wang 대한수의학회 2018 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.19 No.6

The bursa of Fabricius (BF) is a central humoral immune organ unique to birds. Four bursal peptides (BP-I, BP-II, BP-III, and BP-IV) have been isolated and identified from the BF. In this study, the immunoadjuvant activities of BPs I to IV were examined in mice immunized with H9N2 avian influenza virus (AIV) vaccine. The results suggested that BP-I effectively enhanced cell-mediated immune responses, increased the secretion of Th1 (interferon gamma)- and Th2 (interleukin-4)-type cytokines, and induced an improved cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) response to the H9N2 virus. BP-II mainly elevated specific antibody production, especially neutralizing antibodies, and increased Th1- and Th2-type cytokine secretion. BP-III had no significant effect on antibody production or cell-mediated immune responses compared to those in the control group. A strong immune response at both the humoral and cellular levels was induced by BP-IV. Furthermore, a virus challenge experiment followed by H&E staining revealed that BP-I and BP-II promoted removal of the virus and conferred protection in mouse lungs. BP-IV significantly reduced viral titers and histopathological changes and contributed to protection against H9N2 AIV challenge in mouse lungs. This study further elucidated the immunoadjuvant activities of BPs I to IV, providing a novel insight into immunoadjuvants for use in vaccine design.

Provably secure attribute based signcryption with delegated computation and efficient key updating

( Hanshu Hong ),( Yunhao Xia ),( Zhixin Sun ),( Ximeng Liu ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2017 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.11 No.5

Equipped with the advantages of flexible access control and fine-grained authentication, attribute based signcryption is diffusely designed for security preservation in many scenarios. However, realizing efficient key evolution and reducing the calculation costs are two challenges which should be given full consideration in attribute based cryptosystem. In this paper, we present a key-policy attribute based signcryption scheme (KP-ABSC) with delegated computation and efficient key updating. In our scheme, an access structure is embedded into user`s private key, while ciphertexts corresponds a target attribute set. Only the two are matched can a user decrypt and verify the ciphertexts. When the access privileges have to be altered or key exposure happens, the system will evolve into the next time slice to preserve the forward security. What`s more, data receivers can delegate most of the de-signcryption task to data server, which can reduce the calculation on client`s side. By performance analysis, our scheme is shown to be secure and more efficient, which makes it a promising method for data protection in data outsourcing systems.
