      • The Data Processing and Remote Transmission Technologies for On-Line Monitoring Of Eurytopic Distributed

        Aiming at the provincial level within the grid wide-area distributed substation equipment on-line monitoring various types, processing of large amount of data and communication standard is not unified. Optimization of the structure of communication between the various levels, researched open communication format specification, established data interaction integration model. The paper studied the wide-area distributed on-line monitoring comprehensive processing unit of end stations with provincial level network of on-line monitoring system for the main platform of communication technology. Application shows that systems runs stability and meet online monitoring data collection, processing, transmission, and other functions, and has good maintainability and extensibility, adapt to various on-line monitoring in province level the development trend of the main platform for centralized management.

        Efficient adsorption capability of banana and cassava biochar for malachite green: Removal process and mechanism exploration

        In this study, banana biochar (BB) and cassava biochar (CB) were roasted in a tube furnace at 400℃ for 2 h, and their adsorption effects on malachite green (MG) were studied. The removal of MG with respect to the solution concentration and reaction time was also investigated. The results show that the optimal amount of biochar is 2 g/L. Studies of the adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherms show that the pseudo-second-order kinetics can most accurately reflect the adsorption process. Freundlich model fits the experimental data well. The theoretical saturated adsorption capacities of BB and CB are 1,092.80 mg/g and 261.42 mg/g, respectively. SEM-EDS, TGA, BET, FTIR, XRD, element analysis and other characterization techniques were used to explore the adsorption mechanism. Based on the characterization results, it is speculated that the adsorption of BB and CB for MG mainly includes chemical adsorption and physical adsorption.

        Theoretical study on photoelectric properties of lead-free mixed inorganic perovskite RbGe1-xSnxI3

        The recent discoveries of lead-free halide perovskites have come into notice as promising photovoltaic materials due to their high solar-to-electrical efficiency conversion. However, these perovskites suffer from large effective masses, wide band gap and affected photovoltaic performance. It is well known that it is an effective means to overcome the above shortcomings by changing the metallic ion concentration and position for the inorganic perovskite. Herein, we study the geometrical, electronic, and optical properties of RbGe1-xSnxI3 with various compositions of metal atoms by performing the Density Functional Theory (DFT). Besides, we systematically investigate how the doping positions of stannum (Sn) atoms affect the electronic structure by taking mixed metal RbGe0.50Sn0.50I3 compound as an example. The results show that RbGe1-xSnxI3 exhibits the semiconducting property with the tunable direct band gaps by changing its proportions. Compared to other two doping positions in the perovskite RbGe0.50Sn0.50I3, the configuration with Sn atom at equator plane has better mobility of electron and optical absorption properties. Our works demonstrate that the modification of metal concentration and position will modulate the optoelectronic performance and photovoltaic properties of mixed metal perovskites.

        A dryout mechanism model for rectangular narrow channels at high pressure conditions

        Adryoutmechanism model for rectangular narrow channels at high pressure conditions is developed byassuming that the KelvineHelmholtz instability triggered the occurrence ofdryout. This model combinesthe advantages of theoretical analysis and empirical correlation. The unknown coefficients in thetheoretical derivation are supported by the experimental data. Meanwhile, the decisive restriction of theexperimental conditions on the applicability of the empirical correlation is avoided. The expression ofvapor phase velocity at the time ofdryoutis derived, and the empirical correlation of liquidfilm thicknessis introduced. Since the CHF value obtained from the liquidfilm thickness should be the same as thevalue obtained from the KelvineHelmholtz critical stability under the same condition, the convergentCHF value is obtained by iteratively calculating. Comparing with the experimental data under thepressure of 6.89e13.79 MPa, the average error of the model is 15.4% with the 95% confidence interval[-20.5%, 10.4%]. And the pressure has a decisive influence on the prediction accuracy of this model.Compared with the existingdryoutcode, the calculation speed of this model is faster, and the calculationaccuracy is improved. This model, with great portability, could be applied to different objects andworking conditions by changing the expression of the vapor phase velocity when the dryout phenom-enon is triggered and the calculation formula of the liquidfilm.©2020 Korean Nuclear Society, Published by Elsevier Korea LLC. The coolantflow channel of the plate type fuel element is atypical rectangular narrow channel, which has compact structure,small temperature difference of heat transfer, simple surface pro-cessing, smoothness of heat transfer surface. Besides, it is not easyto produce impurities and pollute the heat transfer surface todeteriorate heat transfer with the high-speedfluid. Due to theabove characteristics, the rectangular narrow channel is widelyused in thefields of chemical, nuclear energy, electronic devicecooling, refrigeration and others. The research on the thermal hy-draulic properties of rectangular narrow channels has become a hotresearch topic [1,2].Critical heatflux (CHF) is the most important thermal hydrauliclimit parameter to ensure reactor core safety. When the criticalboiling occurs, theflow boiling mechanism of the coolant changes,the heat transfer coefficient decreases, and the heat transfer on thesurface of the nuclear fuel element deteriorates. In severe cases, thefuel element can be burned and even cause the radioactive leakage.It is generally believed that in region of the annularflow, CHF iscaused by liquidfilm drying, and the CHF model establishedaccordingly is called dryout model. Due to the wide range of quality(about 0.1e1.0) corresponding to the annularflow pattern, dryout isof great significance for the safety analysis and transient process ofboiling water reactors and pressurized water reactors.       • Investment and Determinants of Investment Cash Flow Sensitivity : Evidence from Privately Listed Chinese Firms

        This study examines firm-level capital investment efficiency and the determinants of investment cash flow sensitivity (CFS). Using financial and ultimate ownership structure data from China, we show that privately listed Chinese firms with high accounting quality tend to increase investment expenditures and have underinvestment problems. Previous studies have claimed that a positive relation exists between investment and cash flow in China, but our results do not support high investment-CFS caused by agency costs. By contrast, our results suggest that firms with high investment-CFS may be highly constrained financially. We also find that a negative relation exists between investment opportunity and investment-CFS. In addition, younger firms face higher investment-CFS.

      • Concurrent Weekly Docetaxel Chemotherapy in Combination with Radiotherapy for Stage III and IVA-B Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

        Background and Purpose: Cisplatin is the most common chemotherapeutic agent for loco-regionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC); however, toxicity is a limiting factor for some patients. We retrospectively compared the efficacy and toxicity of weekly docetaxel-based and cisplatin-based concurrent chemoradiotherapy in loco-regionally advanced NPC. Methods and Materials: Eighty-four patients with Stage III and IVA-B NPCs, treated between 2007 and 2008, were retrospectively analyzed. Thirty received weekly docetaxel-based concurrent chemotherapy, and 43 were given weekly cisplatin-based concurrent chemotherapy. Radiotherapy was administered using a conventional technique (seven weeks, 2.0 Gy per fraction, total dose 70-74 Gy) with 6-8 Gy boosts for some patients with locally advanced disease. Results: Median follow-up time was 42.3 months (range, 8.6-50.8 months). There were no significant differences in the 3-year loco-regional failure-free survival (85.6% vs. 92.3%; p=0.264), distant failure-free survival (87.0% vs. 92.5%; p=0.171), progression-free survival (85.7% vs. 88.4%; p=0.411) or overall survival (86.5% vs. 92.5%, p=0.298) of patients treated concurrently with docetaxel or cisplatin. Severe toxicity was not common in either group. Conclusions: Weekly docetaxel-based concurrent chemoradiotherapy is potentially effective and has a tolerable toxicity; however, further investigations are required to determine if docetaxel is superior to cisplatin for advanced stage NPC.

        The Effect of Level Statistics and Fluctuations on the Specific Heat of Small Metallic Superconducting Grains

        The thermodynamic properties of small metallic superconducting grains are affected by fluctuations in the order parameter and the level statistics, especially in the critical region. Here, the static path approximation was applied to deal with the fluctuations and the thermodynamic contribution of quasiparticles, and random matrix theory was applied to deal with level statistics. The specific heats were calculated numerically in the cases of even and odd number of electrons and different spins.

      • Combined Effects of Six Cytokine Gene Polymorphisms and SNP-SNP Interactions on Hepatocellular Carcinoma Risk in Southern Guangxi, China

        Cytokine gene single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are involved in the genesis and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). We hypothesized that combined effects of cytokine gene SNPs and SNP-SNP interactions are associated with HCC risk. Six SNPs in cytokine genes (IL-2, IFN-${\gamma}$, IL-$1{\beta}$, IL-6, and IL-10) were genotyped in a study of 720 Chinese HCC cases and 784 cancer-free controls. Although none of these SNPs individually had a significant effect on the risk of HCC, we found that the combined effects of these six SNPs may contribute to HCC risk (OR=1.821, 95% CI=1.078-3.075). This risk was pronounced among smokers, drinkers, and hepatitis B virus carriers. A SNP-SNP interaction between IL-2-330 and IFN-${\gamma}$-1615 was associated with an increased HCC risk (OR=1.078, 95% CI=1.022-1.136). In conclusion, combined effects of SNPs and SNP-SNP interactions in cytokine genes may contribute to HCC risk.
