효율적인 패킷 필터링 시스템을 위한 CRG 알고리즘과 nTCAM

본 논문에서는 TCAM을 이용해 패킷 필터링 시스템을 구현하는 경우 범위 규칙과 부정 규칙을 검색하는데 있어 기존의 방법보다 효율적으로 검색할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 범위 규칙의 경우 그레이코드를 이용한 CRG(Converting Range rules using Gray code) 알고리즘을 제안하였으며, 부정 규칙을 효율적으로 검색하기 위한 방안으로는 nTCAM(TCAM with negation) 구조를 제안하였다. 또한 시뮬레이션을 통해 CRG 알고리즘과 nTCAM의 기능을 검증하였다. 성능 평가를 위해 제안 방안을 SNORT 규칙에 적용시킨 결과 IPv4와 IPv6 환경에서 기존의 방법과 비교할 때 각각 93%와 98%의 TCAM 엔트리를 절감하였다. The general packet filtering system using TCAM has some limitations such as range and negation rules filtering, so this paper proposes efficient searching schemes than existing methods. CRG(Converting Range rules using Gray code) algorithm, in the case of range rules, that takes advantage of the gray code and TCAM characteristics to save a number of TCAM entries is proposed, and a nTCAM(TCAM with negation) architecture for negation rules is proposed, implemented using a FPGA design tool, and verified through the wave simulation. According to the simulation with the SNORT rules, the CRG algorithm and nTCAM save TCAM entries about 93% in IPv4 and 98% in IPv6 than the existing method.

Objectives: This study was conducted to find out risk factors related to elderly hip fracture, so that the result could provide basic data to establish prevention programs for hip fracture among the elderly. Methods: The data were collected from 199 cases hospitalized in 4 university hospitals in Pusan from January, 1996 to December, 1998, 193 healthy controls who visited elderly facilities in Pusan. The data were obtained from medical records and by using questionnaires through telephone contact or direct personal interview with the subjects or their family, and were analyzed for 2-test and multiple logistic regression. The risk factors were shown with odds ratios and their 95% confidence intervals. Results: In univariate analysis, the odds ratio of hip fracture risk was estimated to be 1.9 for the elderly aged 75 years as compare with those aging less than 65 years; 42 for those with job as compared with those without job; 3.3 for those with more than 6 children as compared with those with one or two children. For the variables related to physical characteristics, small height (p=0.015), light weight (p=0.000), and low BMI (p=0.014) were risk factors for elderly hip fracture. Sane variables related to health, such as previous history of illness (OR=3.3.), abnormal blood pressure (OR=1.6), previous fracture history (OR=22), lower limbs weakness (OR=12.1) and gait disturbance (OR=42.6), were significantly associated with the risk of hip fracture. In multiple logistic regression, risk factors for hip fracture were age, having job, lower limb weakness and previous history of illness. The adjusted odds ratios of hip fracture risk among the elderly were age (OR=1.1), having jobs (OR=11.7), weak lower limb (OR=10.8) and previous history of illnesses (OR=3.3), respectively. Conclusion: This study suggests that the plan for improving the daily living environment for the elderly systematically should be implemented to avoid the chances of fall, and that programs encouraging to practice regular exercise for physical activity and to promote health of the elderly should be developed.
제조업체 근로자의 직업관련성 근골격계질환의 유병율에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was carried out to rind out the prevalence of occupational musculoskeletal disorders among workers in manufacturing industries, so that the result could provide basic data necessary to prevent musculoskeletal disorders. Information on general characteristics, occupational characteristics, and musculoskeletal symptoms were obtained by a self-administered questionnaire between October and November in 2002, from 345 workers in Kim-hae and Ulsan, Kyung-nam province. The data were analyzed for chi-square test by using SPSS NVIN 10.0 program. The results are as follows: According to the self-reports, among musculoskeletal symptoms complain on shoulders are topping for 50.4%, low back is followed for 40.6%, leg/foot 35.7%, neck 34.5%, wrist/hand/finger 30.1%, and arm 24.3%. According to occupational characteristics prevalence by anatomical site, about neck pains 119 subject, occupational satisfaction is 62,6% in moderate group, work shift is 71.8% in no work shift group, each significant high. Symptom complain rate of 104 patients who complained on wrist, hand and finger pain is significantly related that 36.5% below 5 years and 36.5% above 15 years have been worked group. And each of them are significantly related 77.9% in labor workers group, 70% in no work shift group, 54.8% in frequent transfer group. Among 140 subjects who have back pain, that is significationtly reported on 37.1% below 5 years and 37.9% above 15 years and 60.0% moderate satisfied occupation group have been worked group. Therefore, some efforts should be proceeded such as improvement of working condition, flexibility for changing work, more pleasant and better working environment, and etc.

Using the method of isoelectric focusing in polyacrylamide horizontal slab gels, Korean native rice cultivars, which were collected from Gene Bank of the Rural Development Administration, were analyzed for their five isozyme patterns and classified into the enzymatic groups. Among 259 Korean native rice cultivars screened, 5 esterase(EST), 4 phosphoglucose isomerase(PGI), 4 malic enzyme(ME), 2 hexokinase(HK) and 5 β-amylase(β-AMY) isozyme phenotypes were distinguished. Total 15 enzymatic groups could be classified by combining five enzyme phenotypes. The eleventh enzymatic group 〔EST-ⅡC:ME-Ⅲ:PGI-Ⅱ:HK-Ⅱ:β-AMY-Ⅰ〕 was most frequent (111 cultivars), but only one to three cultivars were found in the 1st-6th, 9th and 13th groups. Over 96% of Korean native rice cultivars were showed the isozyme phenotypes of 〔EST-ⅡC:ME-Ⅲ:PGI-Ⅱ〕.
