        『좌전』의 예언기록 고찰

        이 논문은 『春秋左氏傳』(이하 『좌전』으로 약칭)에 보이는 예언기록을 분석하여 그 기록들 속에 보이는 유가 윤리를 밝히고, 그것을 『역전』의 사상과 비교하여 전국말기부터 전한시기에 걸친 시기의 유가 사상 전개의 한 측면을 규명하고자 하는 것이다. 전국시대 말기의 유가는 음양오행사상을 비롯한, 신비주의적 주술적 사유를 받아들여 자신들의 사상으로 융합시켰다. 이에 자연계의 현상, 점술 등을 잘 이해하면 그 사건이 일어난 지역, 그 사건과 관련된 인물의 미래를 읽을 수 있다는 생각이 자연스럽게 도출되었다. 『좌전』의 예언기록은 신비, 주술을 긍정하고 적극적으로 사용하고 있으며, 음양오행이론이나 하늘과 인간이 서로 관련이 있다는 천인상관 사상을 도입하고 있다. 이것은 공자~순자로 이어지는 유가사상에는 없었던 것으로 전국시대 말기~한초기의 사상 경향이 엿보인다. 이러한 천도와 인도의 결합을 표명한 유가의 저술로 『역전』을 들 수 있는데 『좌전』에 보이는 예언 기록의 사상은 『역전』의 사상과 유사한 부분이 많으며 동일한 계통의 사상이라고 생각된다. 특히 『좌전』에서 『주역』을 언급하고 이용하면서도 윤가 윤리를 통해 점을 해석하고 미래를 예언하는 것은 『주역』이 지닌 주술성을 획득하여 자신의 것으로 만들고 다시 유가 윤리와 결합시킨 것이다. 유가가 다양한 형식의 『좌전』의 예언기록을 만들어 천도와 인도를 결합시킨 것은 정치적, 사회적으로 그리고 사상적으로 필요하였기 때문이다. 전국말 한초의 황로도가는 천도와 인도의 결합을 통한 새로운 통일제국 이데올로기를 구축하여 유행하였는데 이에 유가도 나름의 방식으로 천도와 인도의 결합이라는 시대적 추세를 따랐고 그 결과물이 바로 『역전』과 『좌전』의 예언기록이다. 특히 천도와 명합하기 위하여 허정무위를 말함으로써 오묘한 듯하지만 구체성을 결여한 도가 사상의 약점을 찌르고, 구체적 행위인 예를 통해 천도와 합일할 수 있다는 것을 통해 도가사상을 극복한 것이다. 그리고 유교의 국교화라는 결실을 맺었다. This paper is trying to find out Ethical Thought of Confucianism looks into those recorded by analyzing the prophecy recorded and divination records of Zuo Zhuan(左傳). Zuo Zhuan(左傳) used the Zhou Yi(周易) to prophecy is because the character Zhou Yi has. But the fundamental reason why Zuo Zhuan(左傳) is saying that determine success and failure in human morality and ethics. This means Zhou Yi(周易) responsible for the incantation and Confucian ethics is that of convergence. What is that magic, as stated in the Analects of Confucius and Mencius, following the Tiandao(天道) and shendao(神道) and conveying the words to the people. Zhou Yi(周易) by this magic occur is absolutely irreversible authority. Zuo Zhuan(左傳) is fused with the magic Confucian morality. And by making the Zhou Yi(周易) as example the book contained the virtue and the proprieties was given a strong position in Zhou Yi(周易) as a classics of Confucianism.

        An Economic Assessment on Prioritizing Climate Change Adaptation Policies in Water Management

        Water management issue is recognized as one of the main concerns of climate change due to an increasing level of drought in terms of its magnitude and severity. This paper tries to prioritize water management-related climate change adaptation policies based on a probabilistic CBA (Cost-Benefit Analysis) approach. First, we classify adaptation policies into four types and evaluate the BCR (Benefit-Cost Ratio) of each type. Second, the risk premium of each adaptation policy type is evaluated, and the BCR is reestimated after taking risk premium results into consideration. Lastly, we found that the estimated probabilistic distribution function of the BCR revealed a remarkable result: “the economically feasible adaptation policy type evaluated at an average can be economically unviable with a probability of 29.38% (RCP 8.5).” In conclusion, the estimated results show that the BCR is hardly over unity, and the priority of adaptation policy can be different when uncertainty effects of climate change associated with extreme weather events are taken into consideration.

      • Controlled Insertion of Planar Defect in Inverse Opals for Anticounterfeiting Applications

        <P>Inverse opals have been used for structural coloration and photonic applications owing, to their photonic bandgap properties. When the photonic structures contain planar defects, they provide defect modes, which are useful for lasing, sensing, and waveguiding. However, it remains a challenge to insert a planar defect into inverse opals in a reproducible manner. Here, we report a new method for producing planar-defect-inserted inverse opals using sequential capillary wetting of colloidal crystals and creating micropatterns through photolithography. Three cycles of deposition and thermal embedding of colloidal crystals into the underlying film of negative photoresist were performed. In the three cycles, opal, particle monolayer, and opal were sequentially employed, which yielded the monolayer-templated planar defect sandwiched by two inverse opals after particle removal. The planar defect provided a passband whose wavelength can be controlled by adjusting the diameter of particles for the defect layer. Moreover, the defect-inserted inverse opals can be micropatterned by photolithography as the negative photoresist is used as a matrix. The resulting micropatterns deliver a unique spectral code featured by a combination of stop band and defect mode and a graphical code dictated by photolithography, being useful for anticounterfeiting applications.</P>

        <P>Recently developed approaches in deterministic assembly allow for controlled, geometric transformation of two-dimensional structures into complex, engineered three-dimensional layouts. Attractive features include applicability to wide ranging layout designs and dimensions along with the capacity to integrate planar thin film materials and device layouts. The work reported here establishes further capabilities for directly embedding high-performance electronic devices into the resultant 3D constructs based on silicon nanomembranes (Si NMs) as the active materials in custom devices or microscale components released from commercial wafer sources. Systematic experimental studies and theoretical analysis illustrate the key ideas through varied 3D architectures, from interconnected bridges and coils to extended chiral structures, each of which embed n-channel Si NM MOSFETs (nMOS), Si NM diodes, and p-channel silicon MOSFETs (pMOS). Examples in stretchable/deformable systems highlight additional features of these platforms. These strategies are immediately applicable to other wide-ranging classes of materials and device technologies that can be rendered in two-dimensional layouts, from systems for energy storage, to photovoltaics, optoelectronics, and others.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

        Comparing the short-term outcomes and cost between solo single-incision distal gastrectomy and conventional multiport totally laparoscopic distal gastrectomy for early gastric cancer: a propensity score-matched analysis

        Purpose: Single-incision laparoscopic distal gastrectomy (SIDG) requires experienced camera operators for a stable image. Since it is difficult for skilled camera operators to participate in all SIDG, we began performing solo surgery using mechanical camera holders. We aimed to compare the short-term outcomes and cost between solo SIDG and conventional multiport laparoscopic distal gastrectomy (MLDG) for early gastric cancer (EGC). Methods: From January 2014 to December 2016, a total of 938 consecutive patients underwent laparoscopic gastrectomy for EGC. Solo SIDG (n = 99) and MLDG patients (n = 198) were selected and 1:2 propensity score matching was done to compare the quality of operation and cost-effectiveness. All solo SIDG was performed by a surgeon using a camera holder, without any assistant. Results: Mean operation time (120 ± 35.3 vs. 178 ± 53.4 minutes, P = 0.001) and estimated blood loss (24.6 ± 47.4 vs. 46.7 ± 66.5 mL, P = 0.001) were significantly lower in the solo SIDG group. Hospital stay, use of analgesics, and postoperative inflammatory markers (WBC, CRP) were similar between the 2 groups. The early (<30 days) complication rate in solo SIDG and MLDG groups was 21.2% and 23.7%, respectively (P = 0.240); the late (≥30 days) complication rate was 7.1% and 11.1%, respectively (P = 0.672). The manpower cost of solo SIDG was significantly lower than that of MLDG (P = 0.001). Conclusion: This study demonstrated that solo SIDG performed by experienced laparoscopic surgeons is safe and feasible for EGC. Solo SIDG is expected to be a promising potential treatment for EGC.

        Risk factors for atypical lymph node metastasis in gastric cancer

        Purpose: The present study aimed to evaluate atypical lymph node metastasis rates according to tumor depth, size, and location in patients with gastric cancer. Methods: A total of 727 gastric adenocarcinoma patients, with metastasis to 1 or 2 lymph nodes, who underwent radical gastrectomy with curative intent from May 2003 to May 2017, were enrolled in this study. The characteristics of atypical (skip or transversal) metastases were evaluated according to the following risk factors: longitudinal versus circumferential location, size, and T stage of the tumor. Results: The rates of skip and transversal metastases were 8.4% and 15.5%, respectively. Skip metastases were present throughout, regardless of the primary tumor location. On the contrary, transversal metastases of gastric cancer were most frequently observed in the lower third region (19.5%, P=0.002). When the size of the tumor is large (>4 cm), transversal metastasis was found to be significantly more common (P=0.035), compared with skip metastasis, which was less common (P=0.011). There was no significant correlation between atypical metastases and tumor depth. Conclusion: Lower and larger tumors were more likely to have transversal metastases compared with others; however, skip metastases were less common in large tumors.

        Agriculture is most closely related to weather, and the government pursues stable food production by weather research. However, abnormal weather conditions have occurred frequently around the world in recent years, and stable food production has been threatened. Among them, heavy snow in winter tends to increase in frequency and size, which causes serious damage to greenhouses. Therefore, it is imperative to build a system reflecting various demands to reduce the damage to agricultural facilities caused by heavy snow. A business model can realize this as a way of commercialization, however, no suitable model has been presented to date. Therefore, this study aims to design a representative business model that can establish a safety system by distributing a greenhouse disaster prevention warning system for heavy snow to farms.
