        ‘융복합교육’ 기반 수업 설계 사례 연구 : 예비 교사를 중심으로

        본 사례 연구는 융복합교육의 현장 실천과 적용가능성 및 교사의 융복합교육 전문성 제고에 기여하고자, 한 중학교 현장에서 교생실습의 일환으로 자생적으로 행해진 예비교사들의 융복합교육 기반 수업 설계 프로젝트를 분석한 것이다. 한 교사의 주도 하에 21명의 예비교사들이 다섯 개 모둠으로 나누어 협업함으로써 융복합수업을 설계하였는데, 본 논문에서는 그 교사의 서면 인터뷰와 예비교사들의 수업지도안, 발표, 전문가 컨설팅, 성찰지를 자료로 취합하여 정성적으로 분석하였다. 특히 융복합수업 지도안에 대해서는 이전에 체계화되어 있는 융복합교육 프로그램 구성 틀을 바탕으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 수업지도안은 각각 창의적으로 다양하게 융복합교육적 목표와 방식 및 맥락을 충분히 잘 반영하였으며 주제, 내용, 활동요소 등도 융복합에 부합하게 유기적으로 연결된 것이 발견되었다. 단, 자율적 실천 역량을 더욱 촉진하고 개인에서 세계로까지 맥락을 확대하며 이를 다채로운 활동들을 혼합하여 구성할 것이 요구되었다. 한편, 성찰지에 의하면, 이번 사례에 대해 예비교사들은 1) 융복합교육을 ‘과목 간 연계성’, ‘수업의 맥락화’, ‘학습자 중심’으로 차별화하였으며, 2) 융복합수업 설계를 하면서 얻은 ‘새로운 경험’을 통해 자기 과목에 대한 새로운 측면, 학생의 관점, 동료의 전문성, 그리고 협업을 가치 있는 것으로 성찰하였다. 3) 또한, 융복합교육의 절대적 필요성을 인식하고 교사 전문성 신장과 연구자 자세 함양을 되새기며 향후 융복합교육을 실천하겠다고 진술하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 현장의 교육 개선을 위해 교사의 재량권 보장과 행정적 지원이 필요함과 융복합교육과 관련하여 (예비)교사교육의 체계적이고 실증적인 개선이 필요함을 시사한다. To explore the implementability of, and the teacher expertise in “Yungbokhap education”, which embraces “consilient”, “convergent”, “integrative”, and “interdisciplinary” approaches to curricular integration, this case study analyzed a self-motivated project for pre-service teachers that was initiated as part of a practicum by a middle-school teacher who supervised the practicum. In the project, the pre-service teachers formed five groups and collaborated to create five integrative instructional unit plans based on Yungbokhap education. Their products positively impressed the school principal, mentor teachers, and other experts. They wrapped up their projects by answering reflective questions. This study analyzed their instructional unit designs and reflections qualitatively, in light of the instruction design framework of Yungbokhap education. The results show that the unit plans sufficiently reflect the goals, approaches and contexts of Yungbokhap education with appropriate creativity and variety, and tightly connect lesson themes, contents and activities, except for the fact that they could have further promoted the competency for autonomous action and expanded the context from an individual context to a local/global one employing more varied activities. According to their reflective responses, 1) they seem to characterize Yungbokhap education with features like “inter-subject connectivity”, “contextualization” and “learner-centeredness”, 2) their novel experiences in the lesson planning have led them to discover fresh values in their own subjects, students’ perspectives, peers’ expertises, and fruitful collaboration, and 3) their realization of the necessity of Yungbokhap education has positively challenged them to be more firmly oriented towards professional development and teacher-researcher attitude. These results imply that for autonomous and creative improvement of education, in-service teachers’ initiatives should be carefully respected and administratively supported, and that teacher preparation courses should provide pre-service teachers with more empirical chances to deal with curriculum integration.

      • 성인남자에서 등척성 근력과 등속성 근력에 관한 비교 연구

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the difference of isometric and isokinetic muscular strength in collegiate athletes and general students. Sixty players(15 basketball players, 15 icehockey players, 15 baseball players, 15 soccer players) and fifteen volunteered male students were measured using versatile muscle power measuring system and Cybex 770 dynamometer. Grip strength, arm strength and leg strength were measured for isometric muscular strength. And flexion and extension of shoulder, elbow and knee at 60deg/sec(5 repetitions), 180deg/sec(5 repetitions) were measured for isokinetic muscular strength. The results were as follows : 1.Among isometric muscular strength, the highest grip strength was 47.8kg in baseball players, the highest arm strength(flexion and extension) were 18.4kg, 33.4kf in icehockey players, the highest leg flexion strength was 29.2kg in icehockey players and leg extension strength was 69.0kg in baseball players. 2.Among isokinetic muscular strength, the highest peak torque at 60deg/sec among groups were as follows : shoulder flexion in icehockey players(72.6Nm), extension in baseball players(82.4Nm) : elbow flexion and extension in icehockey players(60.1Nm, 76.7Nm) players(82.4Nm) : knee flexion in basketball players(147.0Nm) extension in icehockey players(239.3Nm). 3.The highest average power at 180deg/sec among groups were as follows : shoulder flexion and extension in baseball players(106.0watt, 121.5watt) : elbow flexion and extension in basketball players(69.1watt, 99.7watt) : knee flexion and extension In basketball players(197.7watt, 321.7watt). 4.There were significant in coefficiency correlationship(r=0.468) between isometric arm flexion strength and isokinetic peak torque of elbow. And the coefficiency correlationship between isometric arm flexion strength and isokinetic peak torque of shoulder was 0.344. The coefficiency correlationship between isometric left leg flexion and extension strength and isokinetic peak torque of knee flexion and extension were 0.460, 0.562 respectively.

      • Identification of a Polymyxin Synthetase Gene Cluster of Paenibacillus polymyxa and Heterologous Expression of the Gene in Bacillus subtilis

        <B>ABSTRACT</B><P>Polymyxin, a long-known peptide antibiotic, has recently been reintroduced in clinical practice because it is sometimes the only available antibiotic for the treatment of multidrug-resistant gram-negative pathogenic bacteria. Lack of information on the biosynthetic genes of polymyxin, however, has limited the study of structure-function relationships and the development of improved polymyxins. During whole genome sequencing of <I>Paenibacillus polymyxa</I> E681, a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium, we identified a gene cluster encoding polymyxin synthetase. Here, we report the complete sequence of the gene cluster and its function in polymyxin biosynthesis. The gene cluster spanning the 40.6-kb region consists of five open reading frames, designated <I>pmxA</I>, <I>pmxB</I>, <I>pmxC</I>, <I>pmxD</I>, and <I>pmxE</I>. The <I>pmxC</I> and <I>pmxD</I> genes are similar to genes that encode transport proteins, while <I>pmxA</I>, <I>pmxB</I>, and <I>pmxE</I> encode polymyxin synthetases. The insertional disruption of <I>pmxE</I> led to a loss of the ability to produce polymyxin. Introduction of the <I>pmx</I> gene cluster into the <I>amyE</I> locus of the <I>Bacillus subtilis</I> chromosome resulted in the production of polymyxin in the presence of extracellularly added l-2,4-diaminobutyric acid. Taken together, our findings demonstrate that the <I>pmx</I> gene cluster is responsible for polymyxin biosynthesis.</P>

        SARS-CoV-2-Naïve Korean Children and Adolescents Hospitalized With COVID-19 in 2021

        Background: The risk of severe outcomes with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) delta variant remains low in children and adolescents, but less is known about its effect on the SARS-CoV-2-naïve population. This study evaluated clinical manifestations and risk factors for moderate-to-critical coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in mostly SARS-CoV-2-naïve children and adolescents in 2021. Methods: This multicenter retrospective study included patients aged 0–18 years who were hospitalized with COVID-19 at 8 referring hospitals in South Korea during the predeltapredominant and delta-predominant periods in 2021. Each case was labeled as either hospitalization with medical needs or for isolation. Severity was categorized as mild, moderate, severe, or critical with regard to pneumonia presence and illness severity. Results: Among 753 cases, most (99.5%) had no prior history of COVID-19 or vaccination against COVID-19. The proportions of hospitalization with medical needs (3.5% vs. 19.7%), moderate illness (0.9% vs. 4.0%), and severe/critical illness (0.8% vs. 5.3%) increased during delta predominance. The risk of moderate-to-critical COVID-19 among hospitalizations with medical needs was higher among patients aged 12–18 years (adjusted odds ratio [aOR], 4.1; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.5–11.8) and with obesity (aOR, 6.9; 95% CI, 2.4–19.6) but not among patients infected during delta predominance. However, children with obesity experienced more severe COVID-19 during delta predominance (aOR, 6.1; 95% CI, 1.2–29.6). Conclusion: Despite its similar severity among most SARS-CoV-2-naïve children and adolescents, the delta variant may affect COVID-19 severity in those with high-risk underlying medical conditions. Underlying conditions, particularly obesity, may cause severe COVID-19 in children and adolescents, warranting strong consideration for vaccinating high-risk children.

      • Practical Design of Resonant Inverter System by SPICE

        A total design of resonant link circuit and controller in RDCL inverter is performed. The design is based on SPICE simulation to compensate the problem of analytical method. The core technology of RDCL in­verter such as the design of resonant circuit, the control of initial resonant current, the control of inverter output voltage and control of clamping circuit is practically de­signed by the simulation and parameter calibration in SPICE. It is also shown that the refined prediction of op­eration is possible. The validity of the proposed design is proved through the experiment of a scaled down resonant system.
