• CdS/Cu_2s異種接合의 製作 및 熱處理效果

金榮咸,李基善 동국대학교 재료과학연구소 1982 材料科學硏究所 論文集 Vol.2 No.-

In fabricating the CdS/Cu_2S solar cells by vacuum evaporation and dipping method, the optimum conditions for forming CdS thin film as a carrier collection layer and Cu_2S layer as a light absorption layer, as well as the optimum heat treatment condition after formation of Cu_2S layer, have been investigated. The optimum substrate temperature was about 180℃ when depositing CdS thin film, and the best Cu_2S layer was obtained by dipping CdS thin films into CuCl solution of PH 4 for about 5 seconds. Also the best results was obtained when the fabricated junction was heat treated at 190℃ for 10∼30 minutes.

Inhibitory Effect of Cordycepin on Human Platelet Aggregation

박화진,--,--,--,--,--,-- THE KOREAN SOCIETY FOR BIOMEDICAL LABORATORY SCIEN 2004 Journal of biomedical laboratory sciences Vol.10 No.1

Cordycepin separated from Cordyceps militaris is a major physiologic active component in Cordyceps militaris. The platelet aggregation is stimulated by Ca^(2+), which is either mobilized from intracellular endoplasmic reticulum or transported from extracellular space. cGMP antagonizes the actions of Ca^(2+). Based on these facts, we have investigated the effects of cordycepin on the mobilization of Ca^(2+) and the production of cGMP on collagen (10 ㎍/ml)-induced human platelet aggregation. Cordycepin potently stimulated the human platelet aggregation induced by collagen (10 ㎍/ml) in a dose-dependent manner. Cordycepin (500 μM) inhibited also the collagen-induced human platelet aggregation in the presence both 1 mM and 2 mM of CaCl_(2). These are in accord with the results that cordycepin inhibited the Ca^(2+)-influx on collagen-induced human platelet aggregation. These results suggest that cordycepin decrease the intracellular Ca^(2+) concentration to inhibit collagen-induced human platelet aggregation. Besides, cordycepin increased the level of cGMP on collagen-induced human platelet aggregation. This result is related with the decrease of intracellular Ca^(2+) concentration, because cGMP inhibits the mobilization of Ca^(2+). In addition, cordycepin inhibited the human platelet aggregation induced by LY-83583, inhibitor of guanylate cyclase. This result suggested that cordycepin inhibit the platelet aggregation by stimulating the activity of guanylate cyclase. In conclusion, we demonstrated that cordycepin might have the antiplatelet function by inhibiting Ca^(2+)-mobilization via the stimulation of the production of cGMP.

Inhibitory Effect of Clavicepitaceae on Serotonin Release out of Human Platelets and Human Platelet Aggregation

박화진,--,--,--,--,--,-- THE KOREAN SOCIETY FOR BIOMEDICAL LABORATORY SCIEN 2004 Journal of biomedical laboratory sciences Vol.10 No.1

We have investigated the effects of hypha-water extracts (HWE), fruit body-water extracts (FWE) and cordycepin from Cordyceps militaris on serotonin release out of human platelets and human platelet aggregation. HWE and FWE inhibited the release of [^(3)H]-serotonin from human platelet stimulated by thrombin (2 U/ml) or collagen (20 ㎍/ml) in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, cordycepin, a major component of Cordyceps militaris, inhibited the human platelet aggregation induced by collagen (10 ㎍/ml) in a dose-dependent manner. These results suggest that cordycepin containing in HWE and FWE may inhibit the serotonin release by suppressing the collagen-induced human platelet aggregation. Accordingly, our data demonstrate that HWE and FWE containing much cordycepin might have antithrombotic and antimigrainous functions.

홍삼류의 섭취가 비만과 혈중 지질의 상호관계에 미치는 영향

박화진,이정희,이소진,함혜선,조현정,임창률,유영빈,박기현 대한의생명과학회 2000 Journal of biomedical laboratory sciences Vol.6 No.4

Obesity is the risk fcactor of atherosclerosis and not only increases triglyceride concentration in blood but also decreases relatively the ratio of TG to HDL-Cholesterol in blood. In case of obesity, systolic blood pressure is also increased in responding the increase of TG in blood. Index of obesity in red ginseng-taking group (ginseng group) was lower as compared with non-red ginseng-taking group (control group). The TG concentration, the ratio of triglyceride to HDL-cholesterol in blood and systolic blood pressure were decreased in the subjects of ginseng group compared with that in control group. It is inferred that long-term intake of ginseng products may help to prevent the risk of atherosclerosis and obesity.

        Ham, Young-Min,Cho, Su-Hyeon,Song, Sang-Mok,Yoon, Seon-A,Lee, Yong-Bum,Kim, Chang-Sook,Kwon, Seung-Hae,Jeong, Myeong Seon,Yoon, Weon-Jong,Kim, Kil-Nam Elsevier 2017 Journal of Functional Foods Vol.39 No.-

Abstract

In this study, we investigated the anti-inflammatory effect of litsenolide A2 (LNA2) isolated from L. japonica fruit and its mechanism of action in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. LPS-induced production of anti-inflammatory mediators and cytokines such as NO, PGE2, iNOS, COX-2, TNF-α, and IL-6 was significantly inhibited by LNA2. Next, western blot experiments were performed to investigate the mechanism of action of the anti-inflammatory effect of LNA2. The results indicated that LNA2 markedly reduced the LPS-induced activation of NF-κB and the nuclear translocation of NF-κB p65. Furthermore, LNA2 also inhibited the phosphorylation of MAPK by LPS. LNA2 was the major component in the ethanol extract of L. japonica at 59 mg/g according to high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). These results indicate that LNA2 can be used as a functional and marker compound for standardization of the manufacturing process when L. japonica fruit is used as a functional food.

Highlights

We study the anti-inflammatory effect of LNA2 in LPS-activated RAW 264.7 cells.

LNA2 inhibited production of pro-inflammatory mediator and cytokines.

LNA2 exhibited anti-inflammatory properties by suppression of NF-κB and MPAKs.

LNA2 was the major component in the ethanol extract of L. japonica at 59 mg/g.

Network Analysis of the Symptoms of Depressive Disorders Over the Course of Therapy: Changes in Centrality Measures

        Seon-Cheol Park,Yaeseul Kim,Kiwon Kim,Young Sup Woo,Jung-Bum Kim,Eun Young Jang,Hwa-Young Lee,Hyeon-Woo Yim,Byung-Joo Ham,Jae-Min Kim,Yong Chon Park 대한신경정신의학회 2021 PSYCHIATRY INVESTIGATION Vol.18 No.1

Objective Network analysis can be used in terms of a novel psychopathological approach for depressive syndrome. We aimed to estimate the successive network structures of depressive symptoms in patients with depressive disorder using data from the Clinical Research Center for Depression study. Methods We enrolled 1,152 South Korean adult patients with depressive disorders who were beginning treatment for first-onset or recurrent depressive episodes. We examined the network structure of the severities of the items on the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD) at baseline and at weeks 2, 12, 25, and 52. The node strength centrality of all the HAMD items at baseline and at week 2, 12, 25, and 52 in terms of network analysis. Results In the severity networks, the anxiety (psychic) item was the most centrally situated in the initial period (baseline and week 2), while loss of weight was the most centrally situated item in the later period (weeks 25 and 52). In addition, the number of strong edges (i.e., edges representing strong correlations) increased in the late period compared to the initial period. Conclusion Our findings support a period-specific and symptom-focused therapeutic approach that can provide complementary information to the unidimensional total HAMD score.

      • Warming Therapy for Spinal Surgery Patients

        Keun Young Ham,Hye Young Ahn,Hye Seon Choi 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Bio-Science and Bio-Techn Vol.8 No.5

This study has tested an infrared radiation surgical gown (IRSG) and a carbon nanofiber thermal pad (CNTP) to verify the potential of these new warming therapies for the prevention of hypothermia in spinal surgery patients. The study is a quasi-experimental study using the non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The study period was from July 14 to November 30, 2014, and subjects were an IRSG group of 28 patients, a CNTP group of 30 patients and a control group of 28 patients who were admitted to E university hospital in D city to have spinal surgery. The collected data were analyzed using PASW Statistics 20.0. χ²-test and ANOVA were used to test homogeneity among the three groups, and ANCOVA was used to measure temperature changes and subjective thermal discomfort in order to verify the effectiveness of the experimental treatments. As a result, from 75 minutes after tube insert (F = 8.142, p = .001) to the time of its removal (F = 36.825, p<.001), esophageal temperatures in the IRSG group and the CNTP group were significantly higher than in the control group. The three groups had significantly high tympanic temperatures with the CNTP group showing the highest temperatures followed by the IRSG and the control group from the time of entering the recovery room (F = 42.820, p<.001) to 30 minutes after (F = 51.966, p<.001). Also the IRSG group and the CNTP group showed significantly low subjective thermal discomfort at 15 minutes after entering the recovery room (F = 6.737, p = .002). The study has confirmed that IRSG and CNTP applied to spinal surgery patients are effective in preventing hypothermia and reducing thermal discomfort during and after surgery. Warming therapy must be provided to patients undergoing spinal surgery under general anesthesia, and hopefully, IRSG and CNTP will be used as an independent nursing intervention.
