'아속(雅俗)' 을 초월하여 : 김용의 성공과 무협소설의 나갈 길 The success of Jin Yong and the prospect of the heroic novel (武俠小說)

천핑위안 민족문학사학회 2000 민족문학사연구 Vol.16 No.-

The essay, dealing with heroic novels of Jin-Yong(金庸), is extracted from professor Chen's latest work, the Form and the Structure of the History of Literature(1999.3, Guangsi Education Publishing). The author of the essay, Chen Ping-Yuan received M. A in literature at Zhongshan University and Ph. D at Beijing University and presently he is the professor of the Chinese literature department and the academic adviser of the doctor's course in Beijing University. His academic concern has wide range, such as 20th century's Chinese literature, modem Chinese history of science, Chines novel and Chinese prose, and it came out in his writings, like Narrative Form of Chinese Novel and Chines Novel of 20th Century. Hitherto, Chinese heroic novel was always under-valued in the field of literature but the enormous popularity of one writer, Jin-Yong, was so powerful that his heroic novel became the matter of scientific concern not mention in Chinese academic world but in the international academic world. The essay, with reflection, criticizes his success from the viewpoint of modern Chinese literature so its subject is the interior case of the Chinese literature. For all, some issues, like the problem of vulgarity in literature, the excessive inclination toward pure literature and the inheritance of the literary tradition, which arise from argument on Chinese heroic novel, are crucial points of the history of Korean new literature. Therefore, our reviewing this essay can be a lesson for studying the history of modern Korean literature.

Preparation and characterization of molecularly-imprinted magnetic microspheres for adsorption of 2,4,6-trichlorophenol from aqueous solutions

        Ping Yu,Qilong Sun,Jianfeng Li,Zhenjiang Tan,Jianming Pan,Yongsheng Yan 한국화학공학회 2015 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.32 No.4

Magnetic molecularly imprinted microspheres (MMIS) were successfully prepared by suspension polymerization, and then as-prepared MMIS were used as adsorbents for selective recognition of 2,4,6-trichlorophenol (2,4,6-TCP) from aqueous solutions. The results composites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), X-raydiffraction (XRD), thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and vibrating samplemagnetometer (VSM). The results demonstrated that MMIS possesses porous spherical morphology, and exhibits goodthermal stability and magnetic property (Ms=10.14 emu g−1). Then batch mode of binding experiments was used todetermine the equilibrium, kinetics and selectivity recognition. The Langmuir isotherm model fitted the equilibriumdata better than did the Freundlich model, and the maximum adsorption capacity on MMIS was about 1.7 times higherthan that of MNIS. Kinetics behaviors of MMIS were well described by the pseudo-second-order model. MMIS possessedoutstanding selectivity recognition for 2,4,6-TCP in the presence of other competitive phenols (such as sesamol,3-CP, thymol, 2,4-DCP). Furthermore, the reusability performance of MMIS showed about 17.53% loss after five repeatedcycles. Finally, the MMIS were successfully applied to the selective extraction of 2,4,6-TCP from the vegetablesamples.

Computed tomographic analysis of maxillary sinus anatomy relevant to sinus lift procedures in edentulous ridges in Taiwanese patients

        Yu, Shun-Jen,Lee, Yi-Hao,Lin, Ching-Ping,Wu, Aaron Yu-Jen Korean Academy of Periodontology 2019 Journal of Periodontal & Implant Science Vol.49 No.4

Purpose: To analyze the maxillary sinus anatomy over edentulous ridges in the bilateral posterior maxillary area in Taiwanese patients using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Methods: In total, 101 anatomical sites from 61 patients, including 32 premolar and 69 molar regions, were analyzed using CBCT. Measurements were made of the width and height of edentulous ridges, the thickness of the lateral wall of the maxillary sinus, and the presence of a sinus septum and the posterior superior alveolar artery (PSAA). A statistical analysis of the measurements was performed, and correlations among the measurements were assessed. Results: The average ridge width was $10.26{\pm}3.16mm$, with a significantly greater ridge width in the second molar region than in the premolar region. The mean residual ridge height was $8.55{\pm}4.09mm$, and ridge height showed an opposite trend from ridge width for the premolar and molar regions. A sinus septum was present at 5.9% of the sites, and the PSAA was observed in 24.5%. The average thickness of the lateral wall of the maxillary sinus was $2.08{\pm}0.94mm$, with no significant difference between the tooth position and lateral wall thickness. Conclusions: This study presents the anatomical features of the maxillary sinus, which should be considered in sinus lift procedures for implant placement, in the Taiwanese population. The use of CBCT is recommended to avoid intraoperative complications.

      • Analytical Model and Numerical Simulation of High Level Injection in Si/SiGe HBTs

Yu, Zhi Ping,Dutton, Robert W.,Voorde, Paul Vande,Oh, Soo Young,Cottrell, Peter E. 대한전자공학회 1991 ICVC : International Conference on VLSI and CAD Vol.2 No.1

The high-level injection (FLI) behavior of Si/SiGe hetero-junction bipolar transistors (HBTs) is governed by the formation of a retarding potential barrier to the collector current flow at the base-collector junction. A quantitative, analytical model is developed to predict the barrier height dependence on the applied bias. Complete device I-V characteristics can subsequently he calculated based on this knowledge. Two-dimensional (2D) numerical simulation has also been carried out on such structure, revealing the 2D effects of the device operation. Several measures to alleviate the adverse effects of HLI on device performance are proposed.

Testing linearity in partial functional linear quantile regression model based on regression rank scores

Yu Ping,Du Jiang,Zhang Zhongzhan 한국통계학회 2021 Journal of the Korean Statistical Society Vol.50 No.1

This paper investigates the hypothesis test of the parametric component in partial functional linear quantile regression model in which the dependent variable is related to both a vector of fnite length and a function-valued random variable as predictor variables. A quantile rank score test based on functional principal component analysis is developed. Under mild conditions, we establish the consistency of the proposed test statistic, and show that the proposed test can detect Pitman local alternatives converging to the null hypothesis at the usual parametric rate. A simulation study shows that the proposed test procedure has good size and power with fnite sample sizes. Finally, an illustrative example is given through ftting the Berkeley growth data and testing the efect of gender on the height of kids.

Varying-coefficient partially functional linear quantile regression models

Ping Yu,Jiang Du,Zhongzhan Zhang 한국통계학회 2017 Journal of the Korean Statistical Society Vol.46 No.3

In this paper, we introduce a new varying-coefficient partially functional linear quantile regression model, which combines varying-coefficient quantile regression model with functional linear quantile regression model. The functional principal component basis and regression splines are employed to estimate the slope function and varying-coefficient functions, respectively, and the convergence rates of the estimators are obtained under some regularity conditions. Simulations and an illustrative real example are presented.

      • CD3+ CD4+ and CD3+ CD8+ Lymphocyte Subgroups and their Surface Receptors NKG2D and NKG2A in Patients with Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Yu, Da-Ping,Han, Yi,Zhao, Qiu-Yue,Liu, Zhi-Dong Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2014 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.15 No.6

Background: To explore the prevalence of lymphocyte subgroups $CD3^+$ $CD4^+$ and $CD3^+$ $CD8^+$ and their surface receptors NKG2D and NKG2A in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Materials and Methods: A total of 40 patients with NSCLC were divided into different groups according to different clinical factors (TNM staging, pathological patterns and genders) for assessment of relations with $CD3^+$ $CD4^+$ and $CD3^+$ $CD8^+$ and the surface receptors NKG2D and NKG2A of T lymphocytes in peripheral blood by flow cytometry. Results: Patients in the advanced group had evidently lower levels of $CD3^+$ $CD4^+$ but markedly higher levels of $CD3^+$ $CD8^+$ in peripheral blood than those with early lesions (p<0.05). In addition, NSCLC patients in the advanced group had obviously higher $CD3^+$ $CD4^+$ NKG2D and $CD3^+$ $CD8^+$ NKG2A expression rates but lower $CD3^+$ $CD4^+$ NKG2A and $CD3^+$ $CD8^+$ NKG2D expression rates (p<0.05). However, there were no significant differences between NSCLC patients with different genders and pathological patterns in expression levels of lymphocyte subgroups $CD3^+$ $CD4^+$ and $CD3^+$ $CD8^+$ and their surface receptors NKG2D and NKG2A. Conclusions: Unbalanced expression of surface receptors NKG2D and NKG2A in $CD3^+$ $CD4^+$ and $CD3^+$ $CD8^+$ lymphocytes may be associated with a poor prognosis, greater malignancy and immunological evasion by advanced cancers, related to progression of lung cancer.

      • Pulmonary Lobectomy Combined with Pulmonary Arterioplasty by Complete Video-assisted Thoracic Surgery in Patients with Lung Cancer

Yu, Da-Ping,Han, Yi,Zhao, Qiu-Yue,Liu, Zhi-Dong Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2013 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.14 No.10

Objective: To explore the feasibility of pulmonary lobectomy combined with pulmonary arterioplasty by complete video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) in patients with lung cancer, and summarize its surgical methods. Materials and Methods: Twenty-one patients with lung cancer in Beijing Chest Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from Feb., 2010 to Jun., 2013 were selected, males and females accounting for 15 and 6 cases, respectively. Ten underwent right upper lobectomy, 5 right lower lobectomy, 4 left upper lobectomy (in which left upper sleeve lobectomy was conducted for 2) and 2 left lower lobectomy. At the same time, local resection of pulmonary arterioplasty was performed for 12 patients, and sleeve resection of pulmonary arterioplasty for 9. Results: Twenty-one patients recovered well after surgery. Thoracic drainage tube was maintained for 3-8 days, with an average of 4.9 days, and hospital stays were 8-15 days, with an average of 11 days. There were no deaths in the perioperative period, and the complications like pulmonary embolism, bronchopleural fistula, chest infection and pulmonary atelectasis did not occur after surgery. Conclusions: Performance of pulmonary lobectomy and pulmonary arterioplasty together by complete VATS is a safe and effective surgical method, which can expand the indications of patients with lung cancer undergoing thoracoscopic pulmonary lobectomy, and make more patients profit from such minimally invasive treatment.

Primary survey of avian influenza virus and Newcastle disease virus infection in wild birds in some areas of Heilongjiang Province,China

        Yu-Ping Hua,Hong-Liang Chai,Si-Yuan Yang,Xiang-Wei Zeng,Ying Sun 대한수의학회 2005 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.6 No.4

Two hundred thirty specimens of wild birds were collected from some areas in Heilongjiang Province during the period of 2003~2004, including two batches of specimens collected randomly from a same flock of mallards in Zhalong Natural Reserve in August and December, 2004, respectively. Primary virus isolation and identification for avian influenza virus (AIV) and Newcastle disease virus (NDV) were performed. The results showed that only two specimens of young mallards collected from Zhalong Natural Reserve in August, 2004 were positive to AIV (isolation rate 0.9%), and one strain (D57) of these two virus isolates was identified to be H9 subtype by hemagglutination inhibition test. Meanwhile, the two batches of blood serum samples of mallards from Zhalong were also examined for antibodies against AIV and NDV. Among 38 blood serum samples collected in August, antibodies against the hemagglutinin of H1, H3, H5, H6 and H9 subtypes of AIV were found in 1, 0, 2, 0 and 8 samples, respectively; and 11 samples were found with antibody against NDV. Whereas the NDV isolation in both two batches of specimens of mallard was negative, all of the 32 blood serum samples collected in December were negative for antibodies against AIV and NDV.
