In this study, USLE series parameter's characters are assessed each parameter. Main topic is propose for Assesment method. In case of Soil erosion energy factor for single storm, return period is commended 5 year. In case of Soil Erodibility factor, Percentage of Clay is increase then K value is decrease. In case of Slope Steepness-length factor, If the homogeneous slope length divide into short length, Sediment yield become exaggerated estimation. In condition of low steepness Slope basin, As the sensibility of Slope gradient, estimation of slope gradient must to be exceedingly careful. Also, the average slope where is low slope gradient basin is to be prudent. In spite of the same site, design engineer understood that site is convex configuration, soil erosion is estimated very much. In this study proposed cover factor estimation process. In case of soil conservation practice factor, I proposed that P factor substituted for delivery ratio, developed by US Forest Service.

Generally rubber has been used to improve an impact absorption ability of certain structures. As it is known, shear modulus of rubbers is closely related with the impact absorption characteristics of the materials. In this work, impact test has been performed by using various hardness Silicone rubbers under different impact energy conditions. The maximum impact forces of the test were then implemented into Blatz-Ko model in finite element analysis to determine the shear modulus of the materials under the experimental boundary and loading conditions. As can be seen in the results, relatively higher level of absorption energy results in a decreasing shear modulus. Increasing hardness increases the maximum reaction force with decreasing absorption energy of the materials.

There has been no report of avascular necrosis of femoral head with hypothyroidism. Avascular necrosis of femoral head develop secondary to femur neck fracture or traumatic dislocation of hip joint But the pathogenesis of idiopathic necrosis of femoral head is not clear as that seen in trauma, Several causes linked to avascular necrosis are as follows: administration of corticosteroid, Diahetes Mellitus, alcohol drinking, sickle cell disease, gout, connective tissue disease, coagulopathy, fat embolism, iron overolad, etc. Recently we experienced a 42-year old woman complained of left hip joint pain. Radiologic finding of left hip joint showed decreased mottled density on left femoral haad. we could not find any etiologic factors described above. Only T3 and T4 were decreased and TSH was increased markedly. We started thyroid hormone replacement. 1 month later after treatment, left hip joint pain was subcided. 6 months later, previous radiologic finding was normalized on follow up study. We can not conclude that hypothyroidism caused avascular necrosis of femoral had, but we infer that hypothyroidism might influence on femoral head lesion at least.
고속 레일 결함 탐상을 위한 다채널 초음파 탐상 시스템 연구

파손된 레일 때문에 열차의 탈선이 발생하게 되면 막대한 경제적 및 인명 피해가 발생한다. 이러한 철도 사고를 예방하기 위하여 다채널 초음파 탐상법이 열차에 탑재되어 레일 결함을 검출하고 있다. 레일 검사 열차의 탐상속도는 약 60 km/h로 운행되기 때문에 다채널 초음파 탐상 시스템은 열차 운행 속도에서의 결함 검출이 가능해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 운행 속도에서 개발된 다채널 초음파 탐상 시스템 레일 결함 검출 가능 여부를 확인하기 위한 실험적 연구를 진행하였다. 개발된 시스템은 탐상 각도별로 제작된 레일용 초음파 변환기, 초음파의 송수신을 위한 다채널 펄서/리시버, 초음파 신호 획득을 위한 A/D 보드로 구성된다. 운행 속도에서의 성능 검증을 위하여 60 km/h 속도가 가능한 고속 회전 시스템에서 인공결함이 가공된 회전판을 이용하여 개발된 다채널 초음파 탐상 시스템의 적용 가능성을 확인하였다. Because of train derailment, huge economic losses and casualties occur. To prevent rail accidents, a multi-channel ultrasonic inspection system must be mounted on trains and has been applied to detect rail defects. This system must be able to detect defects at a driving speed of 60 km/h. In this study, experiments were conducted to verify the defect detectability of the developed multi-channel ultrasonic inspection system at the driving speed. The developed system included fabricated ultrasonic transducers with different angles, eight-channel pulser/receiver for generating and receiving ultrasonic signals, and an A/D board for the acquisition of ultrasonic signals. To verify the defect detectability in the driving conditions, the developed system was applied to rail inspection using a high-speed rotation system and a specimen with artificial defects.
수반응성 금속 연료의 연소 속도 측정을 위한 초음파 측정 시스템 개발

수중 운동체의 연료로 사용되는 수반응성 금속 연료(Hydro-Reactive metal Fuel, 이하 HRF)는 일반적인 고체 추진제와 달리, 산화제를 물을 이용하여 사용기 때문에 산화제의 함량이 매우 적다. 수중 운동체의 추진 성능 평가를 위해서는 HRF 추진제의 연소 특성을 평가해야 하는데 연소 특성 평가 방법 중 하나로 추진제의 연소속도를 측정한다. 초음파법은 한 번의 실험으로 연소 중의 압력 범위에서의 연소 속도 데이터를 획득할 수 있기 때문에 효과적이고 경제적인 측정 방법이다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 초음파법을 HRF 추진제에 적용하여 가수 조건이 구현 가능한 HRF 추진제의 연소속도 측정 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. Hydro-Reactive metal Fuel(HRF) propellant used in underwater vehicles has far lower oxidizer content than general solid propellant because of using water as oxidizer unlike general solid propellant. Measuring burning rate is one of evaluation methods about burning character for evaluating propulsion efficiency of underwater vehicles. The ultrasound method is used as an effective and economical tool for measuring burning rate of solid propellants, because it can measure burning rate of solid propellants with wide range of pressure in a single test. So , in this paper, ultrasound method is used in ultrasound measuring system enabling water to inject a combustion chamber for measuring burning rates of HRF propellant.

Since Abrikossoff first reported five cases of granular celll tumor of the tongue in 1926, this tumor has been reported in many different locations throughout the body. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the clinical and pathologic features in a case of gran- ular cell tomor of the esophagus. A case of granular cell tumor of the esophagus is reported. This 36 year old female patient was admitted to the hospital because of vomiting. She was re- vealed esophageal rnass on gastrofibroscopy and demonstrated granular cell tumor in histo- pathologic examination of esophageal biopsy. (Korean J Gastroenterol 1994; 26: 327-331)
