A self-powered β-Ga2O3/CsCu2I3 heterojunction photodiode responding to deep ultraviolet irradiation

        Gao Ang,Jiang Weiyu,Ma Guoliang,Liu Zeng,Li Shan,Yan Zuyong,Sun Weiming,Zhang Shaohui,Tang Weihua 한국물리학회 2022 Current Applied Physics Vol.33 No.-

In this paper, a lead-free halide perovskite CsCu2I3 film with high stability was prepared by the anti-solvent assisted crystallization method. Then, we coupled it with Ga2O3 to prepare a corresponding heterojunction deep ultraviolet (UV) photodetector. After testing, we concluded that the photodetector is sensitive to 254 nm UV light. The photodetector has good reproducibility, and has an ultra-high photo-to-dark current ratio (PDCR) of more than 105. In addition, under a bias of 10 V and an illuminated intensity of 200 μW/cm2, the responsivity (R) and specific detectivity (D*) reached 20 mA/W and 107 cm Hz1/2 W 1 (Jones), and the external quantum efficiency (EQE) is 10%. Meanwhile, the prepared photodetector could operate at zero bias, i.e., self-powered operation, along with a photocurrent of about 1 nA under illumination with UV light intensity of 200 μW/cm2.

Effect of Supports on Soot Oxidation of Copper Catalysts: BaTiO3 Versus Fe2O3@BaTiO3 Core/Shell Microsphere

        Guoliang Fan,Liu Zhao,Cairong Gong,Jia Ma,Gang Xue 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2016 NANO Vol.11 No.1

Copper catalysts prepared using two kinds of supports (BaTiO3 and Fe2O3@BaTiO3) have been tested for soot combustion. Perovskite-type oxide BaTiO3 shows excellent properties as support but has small specific surface area. Fe2O3@BaTiO3 core/shell microspheres, as improved support of BaTiO3 support, were fabricated by a hydrothermal-annealing approach. Fe2O3@BaTiO3 support has large specific surface area, which optimizes the contact condition of the gassoot-catalyst three-phase reaction. Due to the Cu-Fe2O3@BaTiO3 interaction, the redox properties of copper are improved. Soot combustion is tested under O2 gas flow and NOx/O2 gas flow, and Fe2O3@BaTiO3 supported copper catalyst (Cu/Fe2O3@BaTiO3) all shows higher catalytic activity and CO2 selectivity than BaTiO3 supported copper catalyst (Cu/BaTiO3).

Observer-based Non-fragile Mixed Passivity and H∞ Feedback Control for Fuzzy Stochastic Jump System Subject to Quantized Measurements

        Kun Ma,Guangming Zhuang,Jianwei Xia,Guoliang Chen,Huasheng Zhang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2021 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.19 No.9

This paper considers the topic of the observer-based non-fragile mixed passivity and H∞ state feedback control for time-varying delay and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties fuzzy stochastic Markovian jump system subject to quantized measurements. The aim of this paper is to provide a suitable observer-based non-fragile state feedback controller to enhance stochastic stabilization of the closed-loop system and satisfy mixed passivity and H∞ performance. By constructing mode-dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, novel conditions are achieved in virtue of linear matrix inequalities. Two examples including truck-trailer model are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed method.

Flexural performance test of a prestressed concrete beam with plastic bellows

        Xuansheng Cheng,Junliang Hong,Liang Ma,Guoliang Li 국제구조공학회 2021 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.79 No.2

The flexural performance of 8 types of prestressed concrete beams with plastic bellows under different grouting compactness is examined in this paper. By applying concentrated load and symmetrical load to 8 types of prestressed concrete test beams with plastic bellows, the flexural performance test of each test beam is carried out, and the mechanical characteristics and failure morphology of each test beam under different grouting compactness are discussed. The influence of duct grouting compactness on the strain of steel bars and concrete, mid-span deflection and stiffness of prestressed concrete beam are analyzed. The results show that the cracking load and ultimate load of the test beam increases constantly with the increase of the duct grouting compactness, and the flexural bearing capacity of prestressed concrete beams has also been significantly improved. After the concrete is cracked, the mid-span deflection of the prestressed concrete beam gradually decreases with the increase of the duct grouting compactness under the same load form and load grade. At the same load grade, the mid-span deflection change of prestressed concrete beams under concentrated load is much larger than that under symmetric load. The ductility coefficient of prestressed concrete beams with plastic bellows decreases as the grouting compactness increases. In engineering practice, the quality of duct grouting compactness about the prestressed concrete beam should be strictly controlled and improved.

Flexural Performance of Prestressed Beams with Grouting Material of Various Compactnesses

        Xuansheng Cheng,Haibo Liu,Jiaxuan Su,Liang Ma,Guoliang Li 대한토목학회 2020 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.24 No.8

Presently, there is no reliable conclusion on the effect of grouting compactness on the mechanical behavior of a prestressed concrete structure. To study the influence of grouting compactness on the performance of prestressed concrete, the flexural behaviors of 8 prestressed beams fabricated by using different sheaths materials with grouting material of various compactnesses were studied experimentally, and the flexural bearing capacity and flexural stiffness of the prestressed beams were discussed. The results showed that the variation in the average strain along the beam height has a linear distribution. The load-deflection curves included two turning points, which indicate concrete cracking and steel yielding. The effect of grouting compactnesses on the early stage of beam cracking is small, but the effect becomes increasingly obvious after beam cracking. The distribution of cracks in the prestressed beams with fuller grouting is more concentrated compared to that of beams with lower grouting compactness; when the crack spacing is smaller, the beam ductility is reduced, and the bearing capacity is improved. The fracture resistance and overall bearing capacity of metal sheaths prestressed concrete beams are better than those of plastic sheaths prestressed concrete beams. However, the ductility of prestressed beams with plastic sheaths is better than that of prestressed beams with metal sheaths. A reference is provided for such prestressed concrete beams, but in practical engineering, the relevant parameters should be reevaluated because the number of studied samples is limited.

FOXK1 regulates epithelial-mesenchymal transition and radiation sensitivity in nasopharyngeal carcinoma via the JAK/STAT3 signaling pathway

        Duan Liqun,Huang Jinlong,Zhang Yong,Pi Guoliang,Ying Xiaofang,Zeng Fanyu,Hu Desheng,Ma Jia 한국유전학회 2023 Genes & Genomics Vol.45 No.6

Background Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is the most common head and neck tumor in China. Forkhead box (FOX) proteins have 19 subfamilies, which can maintain cell metabolism, regulate cell cycle and cell growth, etc. FOXK1 is a member of the FOX family, and studies have found that FOXK1 is closely related to tumors. Objective This experiment aims to study the effects of FOXK1 interference on proliferation, apoptosis, invasion, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and radiosensitivity, by regulating the Janus kinas/signal translator and activator of the transfer 3 (JAK/STAT3) pathway. Methods The expression of FOXK1 was detected via immunohistochemistry using clinical nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues and adjacent tissues. The relationship between FOXK1 expression and tumor stage was subsequently evaluated. The colony formation rate was calculated through the colony formation experiment. Cell apoptosis and cell cycle distribution were detected using flow cytometry, while cell invasion was detected using the Transwell method. The number of cells in the nucleus of each group after 30 min, 4 h, and 24 h of radiotherapy with the 2 Gy dose was counted using immunofluorescence under γ-H2AX focal points of a laser confocal microscope. Results FOXK1 is clearly expressed in the patients’ cancer tissues. The expression of FOXK1 was significantly correlated with the patient’s sex. FOXK1 interference or Peficitinib can upregulate the apoptosis rate of 5-8 F and CNE-2 cells; increase the G2 phase of cells; and inhibit the invasion, migration, and EMT of cells. At the same time, FOXK1 interference can downregulate the protein expression of p-JAK1, p-JAK2, and p-STAT3 in cells. Interference from FOXK1 or Peficitinib alone can reduce the rate of cell colony formation under different radiation doses, and enhance the green fluorescence intensity of γ-H2AX in the nucleus after 4 and 24 h of the 2 Gy dose of radiotherapy. These results are optimal when FOXK1 interference and Peficitinib are used together. Conclusion FOXK1 interference in NPC cells can regulate EMT through the JAK/STAT3 signal pathway, enhance the radiosensitivity of cells, and thus inhibit tumor cell progression.

An Antisense Oligodeoxynucleotide to the LH Receptor Attenuates FSH-induced Oocyte Maturation in Mice

        Yang, Jiange,Fu, Maoyong,Wang, Songbo,Chen, Xiufen,Ning, Gang,Xu, Baoshan,Ma, Yuzhen,Zhang, Meijia,Xia, Guoliang Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2008 Animal Bioscience Vol.21 No.7

It has been recently shown that expression of the LH receptor (LHR) in cumulus cells is related with FSH-induced meiotic resumption of mouse cumulus enclosed oocytes (CEOs). However, to date, it is still unclear whether LHR expression in cumulus cells plays a key role during FSH-induced oocyte maturation. The purpose of this study was to characterize the functional role of LHRs in cumulus cells. CEOs were isolated from eCG-primed preovulatory follicles and cultured in hypoxanthine (HX) arrested medium. LHR protein expression in cumulus cells was time-dependent increasing during the process of FSH-induced oocyte maturation. While the sense oligodeoxynucleotide (ODN) had no effect, antisense ODN inhibited FSH-induced LHR expression and meiotic resumption. Moreover, this antisense ODN against LHR could inhibit FSH-induced mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) phosphorylation. This study suggested that LHR expression in cumulus cells is involved in FSH-induced oocyte meiotic resumption, which process is possibly regulated by MAPK cascade.
