A constitutive model including the kinetics of twinning and martensitic transformation has been established based on the dislocation theory and the mixture law. The stress-strain curve of a 304 stainless steel has been measured by a tensile test. The material constants for the constitutive model are then found through an inverse analysis of the stress-strain curve measured experimentally, determining the stress-strain relationship equation and the kinetics of twinning and martensitic transformation of the investigated alloy. The volume fractions of martensitic transformation have been measured by the magnetic tester of Fischer Model MP3C. It has been shown that the calculated stress-strain curve and the volume fractions of martensitic transformation are in agreement with those obtained from experimental measurements, demonstrating that the material constants found by using the stress-strain curve can capture the underlying materials science of deformation. On this basis, the influence of twins, martensitic transformation, and mechanical behavior of austenite and martensite on the strength and plasticity of the 304 stainless steel has been discussed further.
Metadynamic and Static Recrystallization Softening Behavior of a Bainite Steel
Lixin Li,Liangyu Zheng,Ben Ye,Zeqiong Tong 대한금속·재료학회 2018 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.24 No.1
The metadynamic recrystallization (MDRX) and static recrystallization (SRX) softening behavior of a bainitesteel was investigated by two-pass isothermal compression experiments at temperatures of 1173, 1273, 1373, and1473 K and strain rates of 0.01, 0.1, 1, and 10 s-1with inter-pass times of 1, 5, 10, and 30 s on a Gleeble-1500thermo-mechanical simulator. Kinetic equations were developed to evaluate the softening fractions caused byMDRX and SRX. A comparison between the experimental and predicted softening fractions showed that the proposedkinetic equations can provide a precise estimation of the MDRX and SRX behavior of the studied steel. Theresults based on the kinetic equations indicated that the MDRX and SRX softening fraction increases with theincrease in strain rate, deformation temperature, inter-pass time, and pre-strain; the activation energy of MDRX ismuch smaller than that of SRX; and the no-recrystallization temperature of the investigated steel is 1179.4 K.

Gastric cancers (GC) are generally malignant tumors, occurring with high incidence and threatening public health around the world. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) play crucial roles in modulating various cancers, including GC. However, the functions of circRNAs and their regulatory mechanism in colorectal cancer (CRC) remain largely unknown. This study focuses on both the role of circCOL1A2 in CRC progression as well as its downstream molecular mechanism. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and western blot were adopted for gene expression analysis. Functional experiments were performed to study the biological functions. Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) and subcellular fraction assays were employed to detect the subcellular distribution. Luciferase reporter, RNA-binding protein immunoprecipitation (RIP), co-immunoprecipitation (Co- IP), RNA pull-down, and immunofluorescence (IF) and immunoprecipitation (IP) assays were used to explore the underlying mechanisms. Our results found circCOL1A2 to be not only upregulated in GC cells, but that it also propels the migration and invasion of GC cells. CircCOL1A2 functions as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) by sequestering microRNA-1286 (miR-1286) to modulate ubiquitin-specific peptidase 10 (USP10), which in turn spurs the migration and invasion of GC cells by regulating RFC2. In sum, CircCOL1A2 sponges miR-1286 to promote cell invasion and migration of GC by elevating the expression of USP10 to downregulate the level of RFC2 ubiquitination. Our study offers a potential novel target for the early diagnosis and treatment of GC.
Highly Efficient Photocatalysts Based on Lamellar-Shaped Bi2S3 Grown on TiO2 Monolith
Kaidi Li,Fangfang Zhang,Huiming Wang,Yalan Zhou,Lixin Zhao,Jimin Du,Yating Gao,Weimin Wang,강대준 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2018 NANO Vol.13 No.09
Here, the lamellar-shaped Bi2S3 grown on a porous TiO2 monolith was obtained by a two-step method including a sol–gel route and hydrothermal treatment. The photocatalytic activity of the as-synthesized Bi2S3/TiO2 composites was evaluated for photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) dye in aqueous solution under the visible-light irradiation. Based on our experimental results, 5% (molar ratio of Bi2S3 to TiO2) Bi2S3/TiO2 photocatalysts exhibited a maximum photodegradation rate of MB up to 96.9% under visible-light irradiation for 120 min. Our findings indicated that the lamellar-shaped Bi2S3 can extend the light absorption up to visible areas, and porous TiO2 can provide enhanced specific surface area and more mass transfer pathway to enhance the photodegradation efficiency. Furthermore, porous TiO2 can accept the electrons from the Bi2S3 conduction band due to the relatively positive electrode potential to impede the photoproduced electron and hole combination to result in advanced photocatalytic performance.

This paper addresses a pattern-moving-based modified model free adaptive control (PMFAC) scheme and illustrates the convergence of its tracking error for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown model and multi-threshold quantized observations. The basic idea is to consider the system’s quantization error as an external disturbance and an improved performance index function of control law is proposed from the perspective of twoplayer zero-sum game (TP-ZSG) based on the existed MFAC algorithms. The PMFAC scheme is established which mainly includes an improved tracking control law and a pseudo-partial derivative (PPD) estimation algorithm. Under certain conditions, the bounded convergence of system tracking error and the stability of PMFAC system with quantization errors can be guaranteed. The theoretical results are demonstrated by two numerical examples.
Candidate Genes with Ovulation by Differential Display PCR in Small Tail Han Sheep
Liu, Shufang,Li, Hongbin,Song, Xuemei,Wang, Aihua,Wei, Caihong,Du, Lixin Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2006 Animal Bioscience Vol.19 No.9
To find the candidate genes concerned with ovulation rate of sheep, Differential Display Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction was employed to find the differently expressed cDNA controlling ovulation in the Small Tail Han sheep of polyembryony and in Tan sheep of single birth. Twenty-four primer pairs of three anchored primers and eight arbitrary primers were assembled to amplify the specialized bands from these sheep. Positive cross tests were applied to optimize the ascertainable PCR conditions in which different special bands can be identified by silver strain in one PCR tube. After eliminating the false positive PCR products by Northern hybridization, 24 differential display bands were acquired from the ovary in the Small Tail Han sheep. These EST bands were sequenced and 18 different ESTs were found in which five ESTs had several copies and 13 ESTs had only one copy. Comparing these ESTs with homologous sequences by BLAST in the GenBank, there were six ESTs with known open reading frame (ORF) and function, three ESTs with known ORF and no function, and 9 ESTs without homologous sequence. These ESTs partly represent several genes such as NOS2, tensin, TCRA, CDKN1A, ESR1 and ACTB which express especially in Small Tail Han sheep.
Biosynthesized Au/TiO2@SBA-15 catalysts for selective oxidation of cyclohexane with O2
Fang Yao,Lixin Xu,Jili Luo,Xiao Li,Yue An,Chao Wan 한국화학공학회 2018 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.35 No.4
A variety of TiO2@SBA-15 supporters with various TiO2 loadings were synthesized using a facile sol-gel method. Gold (Au)-based catalysts were prepared with an environmentally benign and economical bioreduction method via Cacumen Platycladi (CP) leaf extract and immobilized on various TiO2@SBA-15 supporters with different TiO2 loadings. The as-prepared biosynthesized Au catalysts were applied in the liquid-phase cyclohexane oxidation. The results showed that the Au nanoparticles were well-dispersed on TiO2@SBA-15, and the Au existed as Au0. These biosynthesized Au catalysts are promising for cyclohexane oxidation, achieving a turnover frequency up to 3,426 h1 with a 14.1% cyclohexane conversion rate.
Robust video watermarking algorithm for H.264/AVC based on JND model
( Weiwei Zhang ),( Xin Li ),( Yuzhao Zhang ),( Ru Zhang ),( Lixin Zheng ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2017 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.11 No.5
With the purpose of copyright protection for digital video, a novel H.264/AVC watermarking algorithm based on JND model is proposed. Firstly, according to the characteristics of human visual system, a new and more accurate JND model is proposed to determine watermark embedding strength by considering the luminance masking, contrast masking and spatial frequency sensitivity function. Secondly, a new embedding strategy for H.264/AVC watermarking is proposed based on an analysis on the drift error of energy distribution. We argue that more robustness can be achieved if watermarks are embedded in middle and high components of 4×4 integer DCT since these components are more stable than dc and low components when drift error occurs. Finally, according to different characteristics of middle and high components, the watermarks are embedded using different algorithms, respectively. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed watermarking algorithm not only meets the imperceptibility and robustness requirements, but also has a high embedding capacity.
