Robust ID based mutual authentication and key agreement scheme preserving user anonymity in mobile networks

( Yanrong Lu ),( Lixiang Li ),( Haipeng Peng ),( Yixian Yang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2016 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.10 No.3

With the swift growth of wireless technologies, an increasing number of users rely on the mobile services which can exchange information in mobile networks. Security is of key issue when a user tries to access those services in this network environment. Many authentication schemes have been presented with the purpose of authenticating entities and wishing to communicate securely. Recently, Chou et al. and Farash-Attari presented two ID authentication schemes. They both claimed that their scheme could withstand various attacks. However, we find that the two authentication schemes are vulnerable to trace attack while having a problem of clock synchronization. Additionally, we show that Farash-Attari`s scheme is still susceptible to key-compromise impersonation attack. Therefore, we present an enhanced scheme to remedy the security weaknesses which are troubled in these schemes. We also demonstrate the completeness of the enhanced scheme through the Burrow-Abadi-Needham (BAN) logic. Security analysis shows that our scheme prevents the drawbacks found in the two authentication schemes while supporting better secure attributes. In addition, our scheme owns low computation overheads compared with other related schemes. As a result, our enhanced scheme seems to be more practical and suitable for resource-constrained mobile devices in mobile networks.

Mechanical Performance of 3D-Printing Plastic Honeycomb Sandwich Structure

        Chun Lu,Mingxue Qi,Shafiul Islam,Ping Chen,Shuangsheng Gao,Yanrong Xu,Xiangdong Yang 한국정밀공학회 2018 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.5 No.1

In this study, Bi-Grid, Tri-Grid, Quadri-Grid and Kagome-Grid honeycombs were designed and fabricated using 3D printing technology Sandwich composites were prepared by gluing the cores and composite face sheets together. Mechanical performance of the sandwich structures were characterized using finite element analysis and three-point bending test. Results indicate that when suffering from bending loads, the stress concentrations are located at the loading zone on upper face sheets (distributed in both sides of the indenter) and supporting zone on bottom face sheets, and the stress concentration zones of the honeycomb cores are located in the area that between indenter and supports. The failure mechanism of the Bi-Grid sandwich structure is interfacial de-bonding between composite face sheet and Bi-Grid core, and the failure modes of the Tri-Grid, Quadri-Grid and Kagome-Grid are core shear. The mechanical performance of Quadri-Grid sandwich structure is better than that of the other three structures.

A donor−acceptor conjugated polymer (<B>PBTPDI-TT</B>) was also synthesized with this new unit as the acceptor and thieno[3,2-<I>b</I>]thiophene as the donor. The microstructure, photophysical, electrochemical, field-effect properties and photothermal performances were investigated. The polymer showed a broad absorption spectrum that spanned across the near-infrared (NIR) region (780–1300 nm), with a very low bandgap (∼0.95 eV), deep lowest unoccupied molecular orbital, and suitable highest occupied molecular orbital levels. As a result, the polymer-based organic field-effect transistors showed highly balanced hole and electron transport characteristics with a hole mobility of 0.027 cm2 V−1s−1 and an electron mobility of 0.022 cm2 V−1s−1. Modified Model Free Adaptive Control for a Class of Nonlinear Systems with Multi-threshold Quantized Observations

        Xiangquan Li,Zhengguang Xu,Yanrong Lu,Jiarui Cui,Lixin Zhang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2021 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.19 No.10

This paper addresses a pattern-moving-based modified model free adaptive control (PMFAC) scheme and illustrates the convergence of its tracking error for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown model and multi-threshold quantized observations. The basic idea is to consider the system’s quantization error as an external disturbance and an improved performance index function of control law is proposed from the perspective of twoplayer zero-sum game (TP-ZSG) based on the existed MFAC algorithms. The PMFAC scheme is established which mainly includes an improved tracking control law and a pseudo-partial derivative (PPD) estimation algorithm. Under certain conditions, the bounded convergence of system tracking error and the stability of PMFAC system with quantization errors can be guaranteed. The theoretical results are demonstrated by two numerical examples.

FORMATION OF REVERSED MICELLE NANORING BY A DESIGNED SURFACTANT-LIKE PEPTIDE

        FENG QIU,YONGZHU CHEN,CHENGKANG TANG,YANRONG LU,XIAOJUN ZHAO,JINGQIU CHENG 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2012 NANO Vol.7 No.4

Designing self-assembling peptides as nanomaterials has been an attractive strategy in recent years, however, these peptides were usually studied in aqueous solutions for their self-assembling behaviors and applications. In this study, we have designed a surfactant-like peptide AGD with a wedge-like shape and studied its self-assembling behaviors in aqueous solution or nonpolar system. By analyzing the intermolecular hydrogen bond using FT-IR and characterizing the nanostructures with DLS, AFM and TEM, it was con¯rmed that AGD could not undergo selfassembly in aqueous solution while could self-assemble into well-ordered nanorings in nonpolar system. A molecular model has been proposed to explain how the nanorings were formed in the manner of reversed micelle. These results suggested a novel strategy to fabricate self-assembling peptide nanomaterials in nonpolar system, which could have potential applications in many ¯elds.

      • Tuning the Energy Levels of Aza-Heterocycle-Based Polymers for Long-Term <i>n</i>-Channel Bottom-Gate/Top-Contact Polymer Transistors

        Ma, Suxiang,Zhang, Guobing,Wang, Feifei,Dai, Yanrong,Lu, Hongbo,Qiu, Longzhen,Ding, Yunsheng,Cho, Kilwon American Chemical Society 2018 Macromolecules Vol.51 No.15

<P>Conjugated polymer-based organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) have received tremendous attention due to their potential applications. In addition to their high performances, air stability is also essential for application and another main property that OTFTs have. In this paper, three aza-heterocycle (BABDF)-based polymers were designed and synthesized using strong donor thiophene-vinylene-thiophene (TVT), weak donor thiophene-cyanovinylene-thiophene (TCNT), and weak acceptor dithiazole (TZ) as co-units. The lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO)/highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy levels were effectively lowered by introducing TCNT and TZ units, especially for PBABDF-TZ, for which the too much deep LUMO/HOMO energy levels of −4.28/-6.06 eV were obtained. These levels are low enough for air-stable electron transport and large enough for the hole injection barriers in OTFTs. Consequently, the unencapsulated bottom-gate/top-contact (BG/TC) devices exhibited unipolar electron transport under air conditions. Furthermore, these devices had high air stability and maintained unipolar electron transport with a mobility of up to 0.01 cm2 V-1 s-1 during the one-year characterization period. Very low LUMO and HOMO levels were necessary for electron transport and the hole barriers, respectively, and both were important for long-term, air-stable <I>n</I>-channel polymer transistors.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>
