Lactobacillus casei Zhang Prevents Jejunal Epithelial Damage to Early-Weaned Piglets Induced by Escherichia coli K88 via Regulation of Intestinal Mucosal Integrity, Tight Junction Proteins and Immune Factor Expression

Farm animals such as piglets are often affected by environmental stress, which can disturb the gut ecosystem. Antibiotics were commonly used to prevent diarrhea in weaned piglets, but this was banned by the European Union due to the development of antibiotic resistance. However, the use of probiotics instead of antibiotics may reduce the risk posed by pathogenic microorganisms and reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal diseases. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the effects of Lactobacillus casei Zhang on the mechanical barrier and immune function of early-weaned piglets infected using Escherichia coli K88 based on histomorphology and immunology. Fourteen-day-old weaned piglets were divided into a control group and experimental groups that were fed L. casei Zhang and infected with E. coli K88 with or without prefeeding and/or postfeeding of L. casei Zhang. The L. casei Zhang dose used was 107 CFU/g diet. Jejunum segments were obtained before histological, immunohistochemical, and western blot analyses were performed. In addition, the relative mRNA expression of toll receptors and cytokines was measured. Piglets fed L. casei Zhang showed significantly increased jejunum villus height, villus height-crypt depth ratio, muscle thickness, and expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen and tight junction proteins ZO-1 and occludin. The use of L. casei Zhang effectively reduced intestinal inflammation after infection. We found that L. casei Zhang feeding prevented the jejunum damage induced by E. coli K88, suggesting that it may be a potential alternative to antibiotics for preventing diarrhea in early-weaned piglets.

Robust video watermarking algorithm for H.264/AVC based on JND model

With the purpose of copyright protection for digital video, a novel H.264/AVC watermarking algorithm based on JND model is proposed. Firstly, according to the characteristics of human visual system, a new and more accurate JND model is proposed to determine watermark embedding strength by considering the luminance masking, contrast masking and spatial frequency sensitivity function. Secondly, a new embedding strategy for H.264/AVC watermarking is proposed based on an analysis on the drift error of energy distribution. We argue that more robustness can be achieved if watermarks are embedded in middle and high components of 4×4 integer DCT since these components are more stable than dc and low components when drift error occurs. Finally, according to different characteristics of middle and high components, the watermarks are embedded using different algorithms, respectively. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed watermarking algorithm not only meets the imperceptibility and robustness requirements, but also has a high embedding capacity.

Optimization of maximum torque output in the wide speed range of a PMSM traction control system

This paper introduces a permanent magnet synchronous motor maximum torque control method for the wide speed range of a traction control system. This method tracks the maximum torque per ampere operating point and generates a d-axis current command according to the injection of a high-frequency angle signal to the current. This method is parameter independent when looking for the maximum torque per ampere operating point. By not injecting any real signal to a permanent magnet synchronous motor, this method does not increase the amount of copper and iron losses resulting from real signal injection. To obtain a maximum torque output in a wide speed range, this method considers the maximum amplitude limits of voltage and current when the traction motor runs in a flux weakening control field. This method is also robust to current and voltage harmonics, speed mutations, and torque disturbances. Experiment and analysis are conducted on a permanent magnet synchronous motor traction control system prototype under various operating conditions to verify the effectiveness of this method.

Weighted bias-corrected restricted statistical inference for heteroscedastic semiparametric varying-coefficient errors-in-variables model

In this paper, we consider statistical inference for a heteroscedastic semiparametric varying-coefficient partially linear model with measurement errors in the nonparametric component when exact linear restriction on the parametric component is assumed to hold. Two types of weighted bias-corrected restricted estimators of the parametric and nonparametric components are proposed based on a bias-corrected estimator of the variance function, which is proposed by the nonparametric kernel estimation. The asymptotic properties of the resulting estimators are established under some regularity conditions. Moreover, we further proposed a weighted bias-corrected profile Lagrange multiplier test statistic to check whether the linear restriction of the model is valid. Finally, some simulation studies and a real data example are conducted to assess the performance of our proposed estimators and the testing procedure in finite samples.

A Simulation Study of Urban Public Transport Transfer Station Based on Anylogic

With the increase in the population of our cities and the rapid increase in the number of private cars, urban traffic has become more and more congested. At this stage, urban public transportation has become one of the main ways to improve urban traffic congestion. Aiming at the problem of how to improve the basic capacity of buses in multi-line transfer stations, this paper conducts simulation research based on anylogic software. Through micro-simulation analysis of vehicles entering, stopping, and exiting the station, combined with the delay model theory, the vehicle is given Stop organization optimization and station layout improvement methods, so that vehicles can run in the station more stably, smoothly and safely. Case analysis shows that applying this method to the roadside parking problem, the main and auxiliary bus stations have a significant improvement in operating capacity compared with the conventional tandem double bus stations, and the service level of the main and auxiliary bus stations has been significantly improved.

The Influence of User Experience Elements of Digital Music Access Platform on User Loyalty: Mediation Effect of Usefulness Perception, Epidemic Perception

With the popularity of mobile Internet and smart phones, the domestic digital music access platform has entered a period of rapid development. Existing studies in the academic circle have shown that experience has a positive impact on user perception and loyalty. However, the research on the relationship between brand loyalty, user perception and user experience of Internet products has not received much attention. Starting from the brand loyalty theory and user experience theory, this paper explores the mechanism of user experience, user perception and brand loyalty of digital music access platform. Based on the development status of digital music access platform in China, the purpose is to explore how the user experience of the mainstream digital music access platform can affect Usefulness Perception, Epidemic Perception. And to explore how the Usefulness Perception, Epidemic Perception can affect users" brand loyalty. also further explore the role of users" perception in this process to understand the relationship between brand and user experience. In practical operations, 398 formal questionnaires were issued online to collect first-hand data, and reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and hypothesis analysis were carried out successively on the data in the later stage. Through research, it is found that the user experience of digital music access platform has a partial significant impact on the perception and loyalty of applications. The visual presentation and emotional feelings of digital music access platform are positively correlated with the perceived usefulness of applications. The visual presentation and emotional feelings of digital music access platform are positively correlated with the perceived popularity of applications. The e perceived usefulness and perceived popularity of the digital music access platform are positively correlated with the loyalty of the application. Through this research, it has certain guiding significance to the promotion of digital music access platform"s brand loyalty degree.

WHY CONSUMERS BUY IMITATIONS OF PREMIUM COSMETICS?

This study aims to gain insights into consumers’ motivations when purchasing imitation of luxury cosmetics goods by applying the functional theory of attitude. Consumers’ desire for imitation luxury cosmetics hinges on their motivations underlying their consumption of luxury cosmetics. In addition, consumers’ perceived risk of purchasing imitation cosmetics and their brand loyalty towards the original luxury products will restrain their purchase intention of imitation cosmetics. Finally, the study examines the effect of products conspicuousness (private/public visible goods) and the effect of imitation types (feature/theme) on consumers’ preferences on concerning imitation consumption. The findings will provide insights for policy makers, brand managers and academics, and better understand imitation in the luxury cosmetics industry.

Korean Migrant Children’s Language Use and Attitudes towards Language Maintenance and Cultural Identity: A China Study

이 논문은 중국 한인 사회내 한국계 자녀들이 직면하고 있는 언어 사용, 언어 유지 및 한국어 계승어에 대한 태도의 문제를 다룬다. 한국과 중국 간의 외교 관계 수립후 베이징, 상하이 및 총칭 등 중국 대도시에 많은 수의 한국인 이민자 및 한국어 화자가 정착했음에도 불구하고, 중국 내 한인 사회는 지금까지 사회언어학 연구자들의 관심을 크게 끌지 못했다.이 연구는 한국계 자녀들이 일상생활에서 어떻게 의사소통하는지, 계승어 한국어를 (어느 정도로) 유지해왔는지,한국어와 문화 정체성에 대해 어떤 인식을 가지고 있는지 등을 조사연구하였다. 또한 언어 유지 (및 언어 이동 혹은 상실)에 영향을 준 요인과, 어떤 방법으로 계승어를 유지하려고 노력하는지, 이를 위해 한인 사회내 어떤 자원을 활용하는지 등을 조사하였다. 이 연구는 질적 사례 연구 방법을 취하였며, 연구 데이타는 일정하게 규격화된 전화 인터뷰 방식을 통해 수집하였다. 인터뷰는 남중국 지방의 초등학교, 중학교 및 고등학교에 재학 중인 5명의 자원자 학생을 대상으로 실시했다. 인터뷰 결과를 분석하여 제시하고 언어 유지 및 문화 정체성 형성에 대한 함의를 논의한다. This paper addresses the issues of language use, maintenance and attitudes towards the heritage language faced by Korean children in the Korean community in PR China. Despite a large number of Korean migrants and speakers settled in China’s major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and China, the Korean community in China has not to date attracted much attention from sociolinguistic researchers. This study examines how Korean migrant children communicate in their daily life, whether and to what extent they have maintained their heritage language, and what perceptions they have towards Korean language and cultural identity. It also examines factors that have impacted on the maintenance (or shift or loss) of language and cultural identity, in what ways the students are attempting to maintain its heritage language and what community resources are utilised to that end. This study has utilised a qualitative case study method, and the data for this study was obtained through semi-structured telephone interviews. The interviews were conducted with five volunteer students who were enrolled in Primary, Middle and High Schools in South China. The paper presents an analysis of results and discusses implications for language maintenance and the formation of cultural identity.

BRAND MIMICRY OF LUXURY COSMETICS: CONSUMER EVALUATION AND PURCHASE INTENTION

Maximum Torque per Ampere Control for IPMSM Traction System Based on Current Angle Signal Injection Method

Rail transportation interior permanent magnet synchronous motor traction control system (IPMSM TCS) requires high torque output capability. Traditional algorithms used to fnd the maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) operating point in TCS have strong dependence on motor parameters. Because the algorithm is less robust to motor parameters, there will be deviation between the MTPA operating point and the actual value when the parameters change, so that it is difcult to guarantee the torque output capability of the traction system under diferent working conditions. This paper introduces a current angle signal injection control method (CASIM) to solve this problem. The proposed method tracks the MTPA operating point and generates d-axis current command according injecting an angle signal to current and making the partial derivative of torque to current angle equal to zero. At the same time, less motor parameters are needed to calculate the torque in this method. Consequently, in the process of looking for MTPA operating point, the accuracy is less afected by the variation of motor parameters. And also it does not inject any real signal to IPMSM, so that it does not increase copper and iron losses. Moreover, it is robust to speed mutation and torque disturbances. The efectiveness of CASIM proposed in this paper is proved by simulation and experiment results on an IPMSM TCS platform.
