Ryuji TANAKA,Koichiro TANAKA 대한전자공학회 2009 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2009 No.7
This paper reports the measurement results of the operating current and the throughput for Bluetooth wireless communication modules. Recently, various wireless communication equipments that operate at 2.4 ㎓ frequency are used. Especially, Bluetooth, which operates at 2.4 ㎓ frequency, is installed for mobile devices such as mobile phones and music players, and can be expected to be used widely in the future. To use Bluetooth wireless communications capability on the equipment without those capability, ZEAL series which is general-purpose Bluetooth wireless communication modules released by ADC Technology. In ZEAL, there are two types of modules with the differences of Bluetooth classes. One is Bluetooth class 1 ZEAL-S01 that allows communicating over the 100m range. The other is Bluetooth class 2 ZEAL-C01 that allows communicating over the 10m range. In addition, there are three power levels of low-power level, standard level, and hi-speed level in ZEAL-C01 with firmware version 2.0.2.1. Then, to investigate power consumption and the throughput in each power levels in ZEAL-C01, those operation current and the throughput is measured for ten of baud rates that are from 2,400 bps to 921,600 bps. As a result, the supply current of all modules doesn’t depend on the baud rate. As a result, we have obtained the result that range of throughput that can be used to communicate actually in ZEAL-C01 at each levels.

We have initiated single-dish monitoring observations of ~400 methanol maser sources at 6.7 GHz using the Hitachi 32-m radio telescope from December 2012 to systematically research periodic flux variations, which are observed in some methanol maser sources associated with high-mass (proto-)stars. In our monitoring, we have made daily monitoring, so that each source has been observed every nine days with an integration time of 5 min (typical $3{\sigma}$ detection sensitivities of 0.9 Jy). The monitoring observations help us statistically understand periodic flux variations with a period longer than 50 days. As an initial result, we present a new detection of periodic flux variations in the 6.7 GHz methanol maser source G 036.70+00.09. The period of the flux variations is ~53 days (~0.019 cycles $day^{-1}$), and seems to be stable over 9 cycles, at least until the middle of August 2014.

Shoji Tanaka,Takanori Nagase,Takefumi Suzuki,Kensuke Nomura,Hiroyoshi Takeuchi,Shinichiro Nakajima,Hiroyuki Uchida,Gohei Yagi,Koichiro Watanabe,Masaru Mimura 대한정신약물학회 2013 CLINICAL PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY AND NEUROSCIENCE Vol.11 No.1
Objective: The aim of this study was to explore the factor structure of a novel, 10-item rating scale, the Targeted Inventory on Problems in Schizophrenia (TIP-Sz). Determining the factor structure will be useful in the brief evaluation of medication and non-medication treatment of the disease. Methods: An exploratory factor analysis was performed on TIP-Sz scores obtained from 100 patients who met the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV) criteria for schizophrenia. Results: The factor analysis extracted four factors that were deemed clinically pertinent, which we labeled: disorganization, social cooperativeness, functional capacity, and emotional state. The items exhibited cross-loadings on the first three factors (i.e.,some items loaded on more than one factor). In particular, the ‘behavioral dyscontrol and disorganization,’ ‘insight and reality testing,’ and ‘overall prognostic impression’ items had comparable cross-loadings on all of the first three factors. The emotional state factor was distinct from the other factors in that the items loading on it did not cross-load on other factors. Conclusion: The TIP-Sz scale comprises factors that are associated with the psychosocial functioning and emotional state of patients, which are important outcome parameters for successful treatment of the disease.
The Cryoprotective Mechanism of Saccharides on Freezing and Freeze-Drying Liposomes
Miyajima, Koichiro,Tanaka, Keiko 충남대학교 약학대학 의약품개발연구소 1992 藥學論文集 Vol.8 No.-
The cryoprotective mechanism of saccharides on the freeze-thawing and freeze-drying of liposome was studied by several methods, such as leakage of aqueous inner markar, Raman- and NMR-spectroscopy and DSC. The surface of frozen liposome was covered by a concentrated aqueous saccharide solution or glassy solid, which protects from the mechanical damage of ice crystal and the fusion of liposome. Mono-, di- and trisaccharides showed a similar protective effect per monosaccharide unit. In the course of drying, the water molecules hydrated to the polar phosphate group of lecithin were displaced by the saccharide molecules. In the liquid crystal state the lyophilized liposome was maintained and the lipid membrane was stable during the rehydration process. The liposome lyophilized with a disaccharide showed the strongest stability during the rehydration process, indicating the importance of hydrogen bonding between the phosphate group and a sugar molecule with suitable molecular size.
A POWER CONSUMPTION ANALYSIS OF ULTRA-LOW POWER MICROCONTROLLERS
Koji TOMINAGA,Koichiro TANAKA 대한전자공학회 2009 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2009 No.7
This paper reports the measurement results of the power consumption provided to an ultra-low-power microcontroller. Recently, mobile devices equipped with wireless communication capabilities have been effectively used by many people. Therefore, there are quite a lot of demands to adapt the capabilities to mobile devices without them. However, mobile devices which are required long battery life might not operate correctly when the module equipped with the capabilities simply connects them because the module consumes a big electric power. Ultralow-power microcontrollers will be able to reduce the power consumption of the system including their communication modules by controlling them. However, it is necessary to decrease the power consumption of the microcontroller to achieve this. Then, we measure the power consumption of MSP430 microcontrollers made by Texas Instruments. In the experiment, the power consumption value in some microcontrollers which only the internal memory size is different is measured. Moreover, the power consumption of the microcontroller in four of low-power modes (LPMs) are investigated. As a result, the microcontrollers with different internal memory size have showed the same power consumption. In addition, the power consumption of it has decreased when the LPM rise. In this paper, these results are shown in detail. In addition, the system that transmits the digital data converted from analog data by wireless communication.

Improvement of the strength is one of the most important subjects on soft magnetic composite (SMC) to increase the applica ble items. In this study, lubricants for inner lubricating SMC, which can be produced in lower cost than die wall-lubricatin g SMC, varied to investigate their effect on the strength. The newly developed SMC with self-lubricating resin shows high st rength equivalent to that of SMC obtained by die wall lubrication.
Hierarchical spatial heterogeneity in liquid crystals composed of graphene oxides
Shundo, Atsuomi,Hori, Koichiro,Penaloza, David P.,Matsumoto, Yuji,Okumura, Yasushi,Kikuchi, Hirotsugu,Lee, Kyung Eun,Kim, Sang Ouk,Tanaka, Keiji The Royal Society of Chemistry 2016 Physical chemistry chemical physics Vol.18 No.32

Graphene oxide (GO) is a class of two-dimensional materials with a thickness of about 1 nm and a broad distribution of lateral dimension commonly approaching several micrometers. A dispersion of GOs in water often forms a liquid crystal, which is expected to be a promising precursor for the fabrication of carbon-based materials with well-ordered structures. To accelerate the application of GO-based liquid crystals, their structures and physical properties at various sizes must be well understood. To that end, we examined the local rheological properties of GO-based liquid crystals in the nematic phase using a particle tracking technique, where local properties can be accessed by observing the thermal motion of embedded probe particles. Particle diffusion was spatially heterogeneous, and depended on the size of the particles. Such a size-dependent heterogeneity can be associated with a hierarchical local environment, which is time-dependent for this system. The anisotropic particle diffusion originated from particles trapped in between the GO layers and in isotropic-like regions. The aggregation states of the GO dispersion composed of nematic and isotropic-like regions were observed using confocal laser scanning microscopy.
