비혈연간 동종골수이식은 혈연간 동종골수이식이 불가능한 환자에서 기존의 면역역제요법으로 효과가 없었던 경우나 재발한 경우에 적응증이 될수 있다. 이식 거부와 이식편대숙주병의 발생이 골수 이식의 성공률을 감소시키므로, 보다 강력한 conditioning regimen의 사용과 T cell이 제거된 골수를 사용하는 것이 필요하다. 기존의 high dose corticosteroid나 cyclosporine에 대하여 불응성인 이식편대숙주병의 치료를 위해서 ATG와 Mycophenolate mofetil (Cellcept®) 의 사용이나 Tacrolimus, Methotrexate와 같은 다른 면역억제제치료를 고려해 볼 수 있다. It is known that allogenic bone marrow transplantation is the most effective treatment for aplastic anemia. However, this treatment is only applicable to a minority of patients because the proportion of patients who have HLA-matched siblings about 25% to 30% of all the aplastic anemia patients. In the case of the absence of HLA-matched donor, unrelated allogenic bone marrow transplantation is considered. However, (because of severe acute and chronic GVHD and graft failure) the success rate of this approach is only 20~30%. Recently, it was reported that increased immunosuppressive condition combined with T cell depletion of the marrow graft would result in greater success. There was no case of successfully treated aplastic anemia patient by unrelated allogenic bone marrow transplantation in Korea. Here, we report a case of severe aplastic anemia successfully treated with unrelated allogenic bone marrow transplantation.

With the advent of microprocessor, many types of programmable controllers (PC) have been developed and utilized for large plants. The need for the PC which is applicable for part line of large plants, even for small plant, is increasing. In this paper, the PC using Motorola, MC14500B 1-bit microprocessor was designed specifically for sequencing and on/off control to which arithmetic computation is not essential. The users could easily program sequential operations only with Industrial Control Unit (ICU) instructions. The simple programming language was defined and a compiler was provided for easy programming. The performance characteristics of the designed PC with a 1-bit microprocessor indicate the following results; 1. For the scan time and price, the 1-bit ICU based PC was more efficient than the one using multi-bit micro-processor in/off sequence control. 2. For the modularization the 1-bit ICU based PC could be easily realized over the binary decision method based PC. For the software, the 1 bit ICU based PC is simple where the BD based PC is more complicated because of the requirement of the high level knowledge of BD method.

The present study investigates the effect of injection angle of water mist on fire suppression characteristics by numerical simulation. In order to validate the temperature field by numerical simulation, the predicted results are compared with experimental data. It shows that the temperature difference between measurements and predictions are within 10℃. Numerical simulations of fire suppression are performed for 4 different injection angle(60°, 90°, 120° and 180°). The global mean temperature over the fire compartment decrease with increasing of spray angle. The result shows that the heat transfer between droplets and gas phase are enhanced with the increasing of spray angle. Near the fire source, temperature field by the wide spray angle is slightly higher than that of narrow injection angle because of direct cooling of fire source.

The present study investigates the spray characteristics of water mist nozzle with mid-low pressure for fire suppression. The examined nozzle types are swirl nozzle. The result shows that K factor of water mist nozzle is much smaller than those of general sprinkler. Spray angle of spiral nozzle is largest and more than 150˚. SND(Sauter Mean Diameter) of water mist nozzles is ranged between 100 and 200㎛ through measuring by image processing method. The spray pattern of spiral nozzle represent that water flux of first stream is 2 times larger than that of second stream. This study will contribute better understandings of the water-mist spray characteristics and useful data for developing the water-mist nozzles.
Molecular epidemiology of rabies virus isolates from South Korea

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>A molecular epidemiological study was performed on 13 Korean virus isolates, which were collected from wild and domestic animals diagnosed as rabid between 1998 and 2004. Seven samples were from domestic animals such as dogs and cattle infected by rabid raccoon dogs (<I>Nyctereutes procyonoides koreensis</I>), and the rest of the six samples were from raccoon dogs in the wild. The study was carried out based on the comparison of nucleotide and amino acid sequences of nucleoprotein (N) and glycoprotein (G) coding regions and nucleotide sequence of the G-L intergenic (Ψ) non-coding region of the isolates. The similarities of nucleotide and amino acid sequence were at least 97.8 and 98.5%, respectively, between all Korean isolates. Phylogenetic analyses of the isolate showed that they formed a monophyletic group closely related to the Arctic strains but distant from other Asian strains, including Chinese strains. The fact that the raccoon dog is the main epidemic carrier of rabies in Korea and the results of these studies supported the conclusion of previous studies (Kuzmin et al.) that the raccoon dogs take part in the circulation of rabies virus within their natural territories in the Far East. The Korean isolates can be divided into two subgroups. All the topology of the most likelihood tree of Korean isolates using nucleotide and amino acid sequences of N, G and G-L region reflected not the species but the year of isolation and geographical location of the virus isolates. This study presents the detailed description of the molecular epidemiology of rabies virus in Korea.</P>
