In this paper, we consider the problem of autonomous driving using imitation learning in a semi-supervised manner. In particular, both labeled and unlabeled demonstrations are leveraged during training by estimating the quality of each unlabeled demonstration. If the provided demonstrations are corrupted and have a low signal-to-noise ratio, the performance of the imitation learning agent can be degraded significantly. To mitigate this problem, we propose a method called semi-supervised imitation learning (SSIL). SSIL first learns how to discriminate and evaluate each state-action pair’s reliability in unlabeled demonstrations by assigning higher reliability values to demonstrations similar to labeled expert demonstrations. This reliability value is called leverage. After this discrimination process, labeled and unlabeled demonstrations with estimated leverage values are utilized while training the policy in a semi-supervised manner. The experimental results demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm using unlabeled trajectories with mixed qualities. Moreover, the hardware experiments using an RC car are conducted to show that the proposed method can be applied to real-world applications.

Neuroblastoma (NB) is the most common childhood cancer, with a very poor prognosis. More than 60% of children with NB die within five years; therefore, a more effective therapy for NB is required. Although ginsenoside has been shown to significantly inhibit the growth of various cancers, the effect of ginsenoside Rk1 on neuroblastoma has not been known yet. Hence, we examined the anticancer effects of highly pure Rk1 on neuroblastoma cell lines. The apoptotic effects of Rk1 on neuroblastoma cells were examined using cell viability assay, flow cytometry and cell staining assay, and the change in gene expression levels were analysed using RT-PCR, western blots, and immunohistochemistry. The metastatic effect of Rk1 was monitored by wound healing assay, invasion and migration with Matrigels. Rk1 inhibited neuroblastoma cell viability dose-dependently. Rk1-induced apoptosis was investigated through nuclear condensation and mitochondrial membrane potential loss, and it showed that Rk1 can induce cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase but also inhibit the metastatic ability of neuroblastoma cells. Moreover, Rk1 (30 mg/kg) injections markedly inhibited xenograft tumor growth. These findings demonstrate that Rk1 might be valuable in the development of anti-cancer agents for neuroblastoma treatment.

Vol.34 No.-
Daehak-Ro is a Korea’s representative performing arts place where many performances are created, distributed and consumed. In particular, more than 80% of these performances are small theater ones. However, business environment of such small theater performance tends to be aggravated due to high expenditure for rent and payroll. In addition, customer development and maintaining is also difficult due to rising competition. In this study, small theater service process is analyzed using the service blueprint technique in order to improve customer satisfaction for the Daehak-Ro theater performances. First, service touch points and its supporting service functions are identified according to customer’s activities and service delivery process over time. Then, from the customer’s point of view, supporting service functions are classified into two groups, visible functions and invisible ones. Next, several potential service failure points and waiting points causing customer’s dissatisfaction are obtained. Finally, several service failure prevention strategies are proposed in order to improve customer satisfaction.
Storm Sudden Commencements Without Interplanetary Shocks
Wooyeon Park,Jeongwoo Lee,Yu Yi,Nicholas Ssessanga,Suyeon Oh 한국우주과학회 2015 Journal of Astronomy and Space Sciences Vol.32 No.3
Storm sudden commencements (SSCs) occur due to a rapid compression of the Earth's magnetic field. This is generally believed to be caused by interplanetary (IP) shocks, but with exceptions. In this paper we explore possible causes of SSCs other than IP shocks through a statistical study of geomagnetic storms using SYM-H data provided by the World Data Center for Geomagnetism – Kyoto and by applying a superposed epoch analysis to simultaneous solar wind parameters obtained with the Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE) satellite. We select a total of 274 geomagnetic storms with minimum SYM-H of less than –30nT during 1998-2008 and regard them as SSCs if SYM-H increases by more than 10 nT over 10 minutes. Under this criterion, we found 103 geomagnetic storms with both SSC and IP shocks and 28 storms with SSC not associated with IP shocks. Storms in the former group share the property that the strength of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF), proton density and proton velocity increase together with SYM-H, implying the action of IP shocks. During the storms in the latter group, only the proton density rises with SYM-H. We find that the density increase is associated with either high speed streams (HSSs) or interplanetary coronal mass ejections (ICMEs), and suggest that HSSs and ICMEs may be alternative contributors to SSCs.
