Alkaline powder cleaning agents(APCAs) were prepared by blending of Na₂CO₃tetrasodium pyrophosphate(TSPP), Newpol PE-68(PE_68), POE(6)-2-ethylhexyl ether(POE-6), Demol C, and MJU-100A. The physical properties of APCAs tested with steel specimen showed the following results. The cleaning powers of APCA-7(Na₂CO₃240g/ TSPP 120g/ PE-68 90g/ POE-6 90g/ Demol C 30g/ MJU-100A 30g mixture) for press-rust preventing oil was 94% and 96% degreasing at 2wt%, 70℃ and 90℃, respectively; for quenching oil, the cleaning power of APCA-7 was 95% degreasing at 2wt% and 70℃. From these results, it was ascertained that APCA-7 exhibited a good cleaning power. Also low foaming power tests proved that the APCA-7 maintained good defoaming effect.
부톡시메틸멜라민 가교에 의한 재박리형 아크릴 점착제의 합성과 특성

A quarternary polymer(DEEA) was synthesized by polymerizing 2-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, and acetic acid. Subsequently acrylic solution type pressure-sensitive adhesives(PSA's) of melamine derivative(DEEAM) were prepared by crosslinking of DEEA with butoxymethyl melamine. The adhesion properties of DEEAM were evaluated using polyester films coated with this PSA's ; DEEAM-2 showed peel adhesion of 270 g/inch width, shear adhesion of 1600 mins, and tackiness of 4/32, thus this material could be used as a removable PSA's.
합성섬유용 인산염계 유화방염제의 제조 및 방염거동에 관한 연구

For the purpose of producing emulsified fire proofing agent for synthetic fibers, 2,3-dibromopropyl-monoamido orthophosphate[DP-AOP] and bis(2,3-dibromopropyl) monoamidoorthophosphate[(DP)_2-AOP] were synthesized, and their structures were identified by instrumental analysis, respectively. Using three kinds of emulsifiers, O/W emulsified fire proofing agents, DPF and DPDPF, were obtained corresponding to DP-AOP and (DP)_2-AOP, respectively. Various synthetic textiles were fire-retardant treated by prepared DPF and DPDPF, and fire retardancy and tearing strength of the resulting products were tested. The results showed that as the concentration of fire proofing agents increased, fire retardancy increased, but the tearing strength much decreased, where the tendencies of DPDPF were deeper than those of DPF. But, since the fire retardancy appeared favorable in the range of 10~20 wt% of DPDPF, DPDPF is proven to be fire proofing agent useful for various synthetic textiles.
Resorcinol 계 Photoresist 의 합성과 그 감광 특성

Photoresist로의 응용을 위하여 감광성 관능기를 가진 폴리머인 polyresorcinol-formaldehyde glycidyl ether의 cinnamoyl ester(RGEFC)를 제조하였다. RGEFC의 감광 특성은 노광 전후의 유기용매에 대한 용해도 차이로서 결정하였는데, 유리판상에 도포한 각종 시료를 제반조건하에서 노광한 다음, 도포시에 사용한 같은 용매에 담그어 잔막수득량을 계산하였다. 필름의 감도와 밀접한 관계를 가지는 수득량은 수지의 중합도, 증감제의 종류 및 첨가농도에 따라 좌우되었으며, 그 감도는 폴리머의 중합도에 의존되어 중합도가 커질수록 증가되었다. 사용된 증감제 중 RGEFC에 대한 가장 효과적인 증감제는 2, 6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline이었다. The cinnamoyl esters of polyresorcinol-formaldehyde glycidyl ether (RGEFC) with photosensitive functional group were prepared. Photosensitivity of RGEFC were investigated by the change of solubility before and after exposure to light. Various samples coated on glass plates were exposed to light under various conditions and steeped in the same solvent as used for coating, and then the yield of residual film was calculated. The yield of the residual film which was closely related to the sensitivity of the film, was affected by the degree of polymerization of the backbone resin, sensitizers and their concentration. The sensitivity was depended upon the degree of polymerization. Most effective sensitizer for RGEFC among the sensitizers used was 2, 6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline.

Two component polyurethane (PU) flame retardant coatings were prepared by blending trichloro modified polyesters (TCMPs) and isophorone diisocyanate isocyanurate. TCMPs were synthesized by polycondensation of trichlorobenzoic acid (TCBA), a flame retardant component, with adipic acid, 1,4 butanediol, and trimethylolpropane. The content of TCBA was varied in 10, 20, and 30 wt% for the reaction. Theses new flame retardant coatings showed various properties comparable to other non flame retardant coatings. Moreover, we carried out the combustion test and the flammability test for our flame retardant coatings. The results of vertical burning test for the coatings containing more than 20 wt% of TCBA were determined as no burn. The results of flammability test for the coatings with 20 wt% and 30 wt% of TCBA contents indicated the limiting oxygen index (LOI) values of 26% and 29% respectively, which implied relatively good flame retardancy.

Polyoxyethylene(30) octadecylbenzylammonium chloride(POAC), propylene oxide와 ethylene oxide의 블럭 공중합체[p(PO-b-EO)glycol], Sedlan FF-200(FF-200) 및 polyoxyethylene(10) nonylphenyl ether의 술폰산-아민축합물 (PSAC) 등을 블렌딩하여 무용제형 저기포성 정련제(LFSA)를 제조하였다. LFSA로서 여러 가지 물성시험을 해 본 결과, FF-200/POAC/p(PO-b-EO) glycol/PSAC/water(20g/10g/5g/5g/60g) 혼합물(LFSA-5)은 세정력, 침투력, 유화력, 알칼리 안정성 등이 양호하였으며, 수질오염에 대한 영향이 크지 않았다. LFSA-5의 정련효과는 정련전 후의 염색온도에 따른 염착률의 변화로서 확인하였는데, 정련전 PET 직물인 경우는 70℃에서 4.5%의 염착률을 나타낸데 반하여, LFSA-5로서 정련된 직물은 1.3%의 염착률을 나타냄으로써 LFSA-5의 정련효과가 양호함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 LFSA-5는 Ross and Miles법에 의한 거품 생성 직후의 기포력이 포고 6mm로 나타났고, Ross and Clark법에 의한 기포력이 30℃에서는 포고 300mm 이하로, 80℃에서는 20mm를 각각 나타내어 양호한 저기포성 정련제임이 입증되었다. Solvent-free low foaming scouring agents(LFSA) were prepared by blending of polyoxyethylene(30) octadecylbenzylammonium chloride(POAC), block copolymer of propylene oxide-ethylene oxide[p(PO-b-EO) glycol], Sedlan FF-200(FF-200) and sulfonic acid-amine condensate of polyoxyethylene(10) nonylphenyl ether(PSAC). In consequence of several tests, FF-200/POA C/p ( PO-b-EO) glycol/PSAC/water (20g/10g/5g/5g/60g) mixture (LFSA-5) showed good cleaning power, penetrating ability, emulsifiability and stability to alkali, and gave less problem in water pollution. Scouring effect of LFSA-5 was investigated by the change of percentage of exhaustion before and after scouring at various dyeing temperatures. The percentage of exhaustion of the unscoured PET fabric was 4.5% at 70℃, while that scoured with LFSA-5 was 1.3% at the same temperature, which proved LFSA-5 to be a good scouring agent. Moreover, the foaming power of LFSA-5 measured by Ross and Miles method was 6mm foam height immediately after foaming, and that measured by Ross and Clark method was less than 300mm foam height at 30℃, and 20mm at 80℃. As a result, LFSA-5 proved a good low foaming scouring agent.
Myristyl 지방족기를 함유하는 제4급 암모늄염에 의한 PET 섬유의 감량가공 효과

MDABM and MDAEW, as a accelerating weight loss agents, were prepared by adding water to myristyldimethylbenzylammonium bromide(MDAB) and myristyldmethylethylammonium ethyl sulfate(MDAE) synthesized. As a result of weight loss finishing of the MDABW and MDAEW with NaOH on PET fiber, the ratio of weight loss of MDABW was very larger than that of MDAEW. This result showed that quaternary ammonium bromide had higher weight loss effect than quaternary ammonium sulfate, and the ratio of weight loss was greatly varied with the kind of quaternary ammonium salts used. In these conditions, proper treatment concentration, treatment time, and treatment bath ration were about 8g/l, 60~90min, and 40:1~50:1, respectively.
