The purpose of this study was to determine oily soil removal from cotton, polyester, cotton/polyester knitted fabrics at a range of wash temperatures and wash cycles with commercial home laundering detergents of similar formulations. Removal of oily soil was determined by measuring the whiteness of solied and washed fabrics. The whiteness has been measured on a color difference meter. Multiple regression analysis was used to estimate the relationships between the measures of oily soil removal. The results were as follows : Oily soil removal of the soiled cotton knitted fabric was influenced by washing temperature rather than by washing time and was occurred at the low temperature of 10˚C and 27˚C without great difficulties. Synthetic oily soil was more difficult to remove from polyester than from any other fabrics. The effect of washing at 49˚C was worse than that of washing at the lower temperatures in terms of energy efficiency of laundry.

Bilateral vocal cord paralysis are uncommon but tend to occur after thyroid surgery or head injuries. The cords are often closed to the midline and paramedian position, therefore the airway is already compromised. So these patients often require tracheostomy and intubation. If compromised airway is not improved after observation, surgical treatment which is for the permanent airway maintenance should be carried out. We have experienced arytenoidectomy for three cases of bilateral vocal cord paralysis. Two of them were treated by external arytenoidectomy and the other was treated by laser arytenoidectomy. The results were relatively satisfactory. So we report these cases with brief review of the literature.

Early attempts to remove pituitary tumors included a transcranial approach that was impeded by numerous anatomic obstacles like the cavernous sinus, the carotid artery, and the optic chiasm. Nearly every pituitary tumor can be exposed and removed through the nasal septum. Advances in physics and biochemistry have supported substantial improvements in diagnosis and management so that transseptal transsphenoidal approach is one of the most predictable operations performed for pituitary tumor. The sublabial transseptal approach(Hardy) should access to the septal spaces and the sphenoid sinus, working entirely under the lip. However, working into the nose from a low angle under the canopy of the orbicularis oris muscle does restrict visibility at the point surgeon needs it most, over the premaxillar wings. In 1990, we began performing the entire septal dissection through a septal hemitransfixation incision, saving the sublabial incision until later in the operation when we wanted to insert the nasal speculum. This modified approach improved our ability to elevate the mucoperichondrium from the anterior-inferior regions of the septum in the premaxillary region without perforation. The nasal spine ceased to be an issue because it was no longer in the way. We studied 10 cases of modified transseptal transsphenoidal approach to pituitary tumor and other lesions during a period of 6 years between September. 1990 and October, 1996.

The purpose of this study is to investigate relationship between sports talent and aptitude education participation in middle school and Stress. The subjects of this study was selected by cluster random sampling of involvement(participation 149, non-participation 112) in student, The survey questionnaires were used to collect the data. The questionnaire for the formalization factor of stress by Kim(1994). The statistical methods such as analysis of covariance, reliability analysis were used to analyse the collected data. From the analyses of the data, the study reached the following conclusions: First, stress is different sports talent and aptitude education participation event in middle school. That is, sports talent and aptitude education participation event is higher non-participation than participation. Second school life is different sports talent and aptitude Education participation event in middle school. That is, sports talent and aptitude education participation event is higher non-participation than participation. Third, personal relations is different sports talent and aptitude Education participation event in middle school. That is, sports talent and aptitude education participation event is higher non- participation than participation. Forth, self problem is different sports talent and aptitude education participation event in middle school. That is, sports talent and aptitude education participation event is higher non- participation than participation Fifth, Environment problem and Home problem are not different sports talent and aptitude education participation event in middle school.
시멘트 종류별 콘크리트의 적산온도에 의한 강도예측에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to exhibit fundamental data which can apply to quality and process management of structure concrete using special cement in the construction field investigating strength prediction by maturity method of concrete according to cement types. The activation energy value was derived from the experimental study that experimental factors were selected as W/C ratio of 45%, the kinds of cements of 3 levels of O.P.C, H.B.C, H.S.C and curing temperature of 3 levels of 5℃, 20℃, 35℃. Also, after investigating relationship between compression strength and equivalent ages of concrete according to cement types, the strength prediction was investigated by maturity method. As the above of results, differences between the prediction strength by strength prediction equation and the actual measurement strength were lower, therefore it is considered that the strength prediction by maturity method is possible not only concrete using normal portland cement but also concrete using special cement.
