비선형 전자소자의 3차원형상최적화를 위한 매개화된 민감도 해석

본 논문에서는 매개화된 민감도 해석법에 의한 전자소자의 3차원 형상 최적화를 수행하였다. 설계 표면의 형상이 실제 제작이 가능하도록 Bezier spline과 B-spline을 이용하여 매개화 하였으며, 매개화를 위한 제어점을 설계 변수로 설정되었다. 설계 변수의 민감도는 설계 표면에 발생된 절점의 민감도로부터 계산되었다. 설계 민감도와 보조 변수는 3차원 비선형 문제에 적용될 수 있도록 유도되었다. 제안된 알고리즘을 공극에서의 균일한 자기장을 얻기 위 한 3차원 전자석 문제에 적용하였다. In this paper, a 3D shape optimization algorithm which guarantees a smooth optimal shape is presented using pararneterized sensitivity analysis. The design surface is parameterized using Bezier spline and B-spline, and the control points of the spline are taken as the design variables. The parameterized sensitivity for the control points are found from that for nodal points. The design sensitivity and adjoint variable formulae are also derived for the 3D non-linear problems. Through an application to the shape optimization of 3D electromagnet to get a uniform magnetic field, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is shown.
골격근 근형질세망의 ATPase활성도에 대한 Vanillylnonanamide의 영향

To investigate the effect of vanillylnonanamide(VN) on the ATPase activity of the sarcoplasmic reticulum(SR) of the skeletal muscle, we prepared the SR vesicles from the back muscle of the rabbit, and measured ATPase activity. The results as follows: Ca-ATPase activity was about 50% in the total ATPase activity of skeletal muscular SR. In the reaction mixture with calcium, 100μM VN increased ATPase activity to 20%, and 100 nM and 10 μM thapsigargin(THP) inhibited the ATPase activity to 50% and 60%, respectively. And 100 μM VN plus 100 nM or 10 μM THP more inhibited ATPase activity than THP alone did it. However, without calcium, 100μM VN did not affect ATPase activity, and 10 μM THP inhibited it to 41%, but VN plus THP inhibited it to 31%. The above results show that VN in the reaction mixture with or without calcium has the different action to ATPase activity when it is used alone or together with Ca-ATPase inhibitor THP. This suggests that VN might increase or decrease the skeletal SR Ca-ATPase activity through affecting the lipid membrane around the Ca-ATPase.

Background: Hemangioma is the most common benign hepatic tumor. Many hepatic hemangiomas tend to be found incidentally, but should be differentiated from malignant tumors. We report an interesting case of hepatic hemangioma in patient who has high risks of hepatocellular carcinoma. Case: A 52-year-old woman, who was a chronic alcoholic abuser and hepatitis C virus carrier with no treatment experience, was admitted due to diarrhea. The patient had suffered from intermittent abdominal pain in the right subcostal area for recent 3 months. Also the patient had easy bruising and frequent epistaxis. She had used oral contraceptives for almost 20 years. Systolic blood pressure was 160 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure was 80 mmHg. Body temperature was normal. Physical examination revealed icteric sclerae and tenderness in right upper quadrant of the abdomen. Laboratory study showed platelet count of 31,000/ul, AST/ALT of 302/127 IU/L, and total bilirubin of 2.7 mg/dl. 3-phased contrast-enhanced abdominal computed tomography (CT) revealed a 4 cm × 4 cm sized hepatic mass involving both segment 5 and 6. Abdominal CT finding suggested hepatic hemangioma, however, typical finding of hemagioma was unclear, therefore, could not rule out the malignancy. Since she had risk factors for hepatocellular carcinoma, abdominal ultrasonography was performed for further evaluation. But abdominal ultrasonography also showed atypical finding. The confirmative diagnosis could be done by dynamic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) using primovist®, which is an innovative liver cell-specific contrast medium. Dynamic MRI presented peripheral globular enhancement and a centripetal fill-in pattern, confirmatory findings of hepatic hemangioma, on the delayed image. The patient got relief from abdominal pain and diarrhea during admission, now is being followed-up at a general out-patient clinics. Conclusions: Hemangiomas with atypical abdominal CT and ultrasonographic findings in patients with high risks of hepatocellular carcinoma can be easily characterized with primovist-enhanced dynamic MRI.

A three-dimensional (3-D) shape optimization algorithm is developed by combining the geometric parameterization of the design surface using spline technique and design sensitivity analysis. The design surface is parameterized using Bezier spline or B-spline, and the control points of the spline are taken as the design variables. Considering nonlinearity of the material, the design sensitivities for the nodal points on the design surface and the adjoint variable are computed based on 3-D nonlinear finite-element method. The parameterized design sensitivities for the control points of the spline are computed from those for the nodal points. Through a numerical implementation, the developed algorithm is proved to guarantee a smooth design surface.
