        Recently, many studies extracting the geography information using digital aerial image have been implemented. But it is very difficult to recognize objects automatically from the aerial image using edge detection method, and so that work for recognition has practiced manually or semi-automatically. Therefore, in this study, we have removed impedimental elements for recognition using the image which overlapped the significant information bands of brightness-sliced aerial images, then have developed the algorithm which can automatically recognize and extract road information. And we will try to apply that method when we develop a system. For this, first of all, we have developed the "template conformal-transformation moving operator" for automatically recognizing crosswalk area from crosswalk band image and the "window normal search algorithm" which is able to track road area based on long-side length of crosswalk. So, we have proposed the method that can extract directly the road information from the aerial image.

      • 새로운 5,6-dihydro-2-trifluoromethyl-1,4-oxathiincarboxanilide 유도체의 항균활성에 미치는 치환-phenylcarbamoyl group의 영향

        기질(S) 화합물로 30종의 5,6-dihydro-2-trifluoromethyl-1,4-oxathiin carboxanilide 유도체들을 합성하고 벼 잎집무늬 마름병균(Rhizoctonia solani)과 밀 붉은 녹병균(Puccinia recondita)에 대한 항균활성(in vivo) 값(pI_50)을 측정하였다. (S)는 잘록병균보다 밀 붉은녹병균에 대하여 보다 큰 항균활성을 나타내었으며 두 종의 균에 대하여 3-methoxy, 11, 3-iso-propyloxy, 13 및 3-iso-propyl 치환체, 25가 제일 큰 활성을 보였다. 그리고 치환(X)-phenylcarbamoyl group의 변화에 따른 물리-화학 파라미터와 항균활성(pI_50)으로부터 구조-활성관계(SAR)를 검토 한 결과, 벼 잎집무늬 마름병균에 대하여는 공명효과에 따른 전자밀게(R<0)의 소수성이 큰(π>0) m-alkyl 치환기(X)가, 그리고 밀 붉은녹병균에 대하여는 분자 분극율(Sp.Po1.)과 분자의 음하전(ABSQ<0)을 위시하여 HOMO에너지(e.v.)가 클수록(HOMO<0) 높은 항균활성을 나타내었다. 또한, 전하-조절 반응에 의한 수용체-(S)간의 상호작용과 높은 활성발현 조건들이 검토되었다.(1998년 2월 3일 접수, 1998년 12월 1일 수리) New thirty derivatives of 5,6-dihydro-2-trifluoromethyl-1,4-oxathiin carboxanilide as substrate(S) were synthesized and their fungicidal activities in vivo against rice sheath blight(Rhizoctonia solani) and wheat leaf rust(Puccinia recondita) were examined. The structure activity relationships(SAR) between the activities(pI_50) and a physicochemical parameters of substituents(X) at the phenylcarbamoyl group were analyzed using the adaptive regression analysis method. The 3-methoxy, 11, 3-isopropyloxy, 13 and 3-isopropyl substituent, 25 as X on the phenylcarbamoyl group exhibited the most highest fungicidal activity against the two fungi. The fungicidal potency of the (S) against Puccinia recondita was higher than Rhizoctonia solani. In case of Rhizoctonia solani, the molecular hydrophobicity(π>0) and resonance effect(R<0) by meta-alkyl substitutents with electron donating were important factors in determining fungicidal activity. And the HOMO energy(HOMO>0), ABSQ, sum of absolute values of the atomic charges on each atom and specific polarizability(Sp.Pol<0) of (S) were significantly influential towards fungicidal activity against Puccinia recondita. The interaction between (S) and receptor against from the based on SAR studies proceeds through charge-control reaction, and conditions to show higher activity has been also discussed.

        Responsiveness of Dendrites to the Glutamate Applied Focally with Pressure Ejector and Iontophoresis into Hippocampal Slices

        <P> Glutamate is the most common excitatory amino acid in the brain. Responsiveness of dendrites to the glutamate greatly varies depending on the application sites. Especially, a point of the maximal response to the glutamate of the dendrite is called as hot spot . In our experiment, the responsiveness of the hot spot to the glutamate was investigated in the CA1 pyramidal neuron of the rat hippocampal slice. CNQX, the antagonist of AMPA receptor, blocked 95% of membrane current to the glutamate focal application (I<SUB>gl</SUB>). Train ejection of glutamate on one point of the dendrite increased or decreased the amplitude of I<SUB>gl</SUB> with the pattern of train, and the changes were maintained at least for 30 min. In some cases, glutamate train ejection also induced calcium dependent action potentials. To evoke long-term change of synaptic plasticity, we adopted θ-burst in the glutamate train ejection. The θ-burst decreased the amplitude of glutamate response by 60%. However, after θ-burst glutamate train ejection, the calcium dependent action potential appeared. These results indicated that the focal application of glutamate on the neuronal dendrite induced response similar to the synaptic transmission and the trains of glutamate ejection modulated the change of AMPA receptor.

        냉동 수산물의 저장 온도 관리를 위한 Time-temperature Indicator와 비전 기반 Indicator 분석 프로그램 개발

        We develop a time-temperature indicator (TTI) that can determine whether thawing of fish and other fishery products has occurred during frozen storage. A polypropylene tube with an internal diameter of 3 mm was prepared and cut to a length of 14 to 20 mm. One end of the tube was thermally sealed and 0.1% acetic acid was injected into the other end; the tube was then frozen at 20℃. Then the open side of the frozen tube was blocked by sinking the tube into a 10% gelatin solution. The tube was attached to a polyvinyl packaging bag along blue litmus paper and the bag was put into a freezer at -20℃. After freezing, the bag was removed to an ambient temperature of 20℃, and the time dependence of the color change of the litmus paper was observed. The color changed from blue to red, with the length of the red region increasing with time. Our TTI can be used as a part of a visible detection system and the detection program can conduct the elapsed time analysis on the length of the red region of the litmus paper indicating the degree of thawing. Thus, the TTI is a useful tool in the temperature management of frozen fish and fishery products.

      • Ureaplasma urealyticum의 항생물질에 대한 감수성

        The miniumm inhibitory concentration (MIC) of tetracycline, doxycycline, erythromycin and streptmycin against 246 clinical isolates of Ureaplasma urealyticum were compared with those of antibiotics by a broth dilution method with growth and metabolic inhibition test. Isolation rates of Ureaplasma urealyticum from patients with vaginitis, cirvicitis, pelvic inflammatory diseases, cervical carcinoma and others were 49.3%, 57.2%, 44.2%, 53.5%, and 51.9%, respectively and the mean isolation rates are 52.2% . Color changing units (ccu) of ureaplasma from the tested specimens were 10^(4) _(ccu)/ml(27.2%), 10^(3)_(ccu)/ml(19.9%), 10^(2)_(ccu)/ml(15%), 10^(1)_(ccu)/ml(12.3%), 10^(5)_(ccu)/ml(11.8% ), 10^(6)_(ccu)/ml (8.1%), and 10^(7)_(ccu)/ml (6.5%) , respectively. MIC_(50) of tetracycline, doxycycline, erythromycin and streptomycin against isolated strains of ureaplasma were 15㎍/ml, 3.75㎍/ml, 3.75㎍/ml, and 1.86㎍/ml, respectively, and MIC_(90) of those antibiotics were 120㎍/m1, 60㎍/m1, 7.5㎍/ml, and 7.5㎍/ml. respectively. Isolation rates of resistant strains of ureaplasma to tetracycline, doxycycline, erythromycin and streptomycin were 76%, 50.4%, 24%, and 14.2%, respectively. Thirty percent of the isolates were multiple drug resistant to tetracycline and doxycycline, 6.5% were resistant to tetracycline and streptomycin, 5.7% were resistant to doxycycline and streptomycin and 2.8% were resistant to erythromycin and streptomycin Two percent of the isolates were multiple drug resistant to doxycycline, erythromycin and streptomycin, 1.2% of the isolates were resistant to tetracycline, doxycycline, and erythromycin, and 1.2% of isolates were resistant to tetracycline, doxycycline, sand streptomycin.

      • 산부인과환자에서 Chlamydia trachomatis와 Ureaplasma urealyticum의 감염율

        The cervical swab specimens from 292 female out-patients in the clinics of obstetrics-gynecology of Kosin Medical Center were collected for the detection of Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum infection during March through October, 1986. McCoy cell culture method and fluorescein-conjugated monoclonal antibody assay method were employed in this study as the tool for the detection of C. trachomatis and Shepard's culture method were used for the isolation of U. urealyticum. The results obtained in this study are summerized as follows: 1. The positive rate of C. trachomatis in 292 swab specimens detected by McCoy cell culture method was 32.9 percent, and the rate in cervicitis, vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, other diseases, pregnancy and non-specific finding group were 33.7, 27.9, 33.3, 55.5, 25.0 and 30.2 percent, respectively. 2. The positive rate of C. trachomatis in 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and above 60 age groups of patients were 20.4, 39.5, 33.7, 29.7 and 12.5 percent, respectively. This rate was the highest in 30-39 age group among the other age groups. 3. The positive rate of U. urealyticum in 292 swab specimens was 47.9 percent, and the rate in cervicitis, vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, other diseases, pregnancy and non-specific finding group were 57.3, 42.6, 46.7, 18.5, 70.8 and 44.7 percent, respectively. 4. The positive rate of U. urealyticum in 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and above 60 age groups of patients were 59.0, 53.5, 43.8, 37.8 and zero percent, respectively. These rate of U. urealyticum were gradually decreased according to aging of patients. 5. The positive rate of C. trachomatis and U. urealyticum mixed infection in 292 swab specimens detected by culture method was 12.3 percent, and the rate in cervicitis, vaginitis, other diseases, pregnancy and non-specific finding group were 15.7, 11.5, 7.4, 16.7 and 11.8 percent, respectively. 6. The positive rate of C. trachomatis infection in 292 swab specimens by fluorescein-conjugated monoclonal antibody assay method (43.2%) was much higher than that detected by McCoy cell culture method (18.6%). These results indicate that about the 30 percent of women with or without uro-genital diseases have been infected with C. trachomatis or U. urealyticum respectively. In these cases, the about 10 percent of women had mixed infection with C. trachomatis and U. urealyticum.

      • Aminoglycoside계 항생제가 고양이 척수후각세포의 activity에 미치는 효과

        The present study was designed to explore effects of the aminoglycoside antibiotics(AGA) on the activity of spinal neurons in the anesthetized cat. The responses of wide dynamic range(WDR) cells to mechanical stimulation of the receptive field and to electrical stimulation of the isolated tibial nerve were recorded in the lumbosacral spinal cord(??)before and after spinal application of streptomycin(SM) and neomycin(NM). Also examined were effects of these AGAs on the activity of WDR cells after treatment of the animals with ?? or 4-aminopyridine(4-AP) plus ??. The responses of WDR cells to natural or electrical stimulations were invariably depressed by 0.5mM AGA. SM produced strong sustained inhibitory effects on the WDR cell responses to pinch(48.9±10.4% of the control response) and C-fiber stimulation (66.6±16.0%), and the responses to brush were less susceptible to SM,. NM also significantly inhibited the WDR cell responses to pinch (27.9±4.5%) and C-fiber stimulation (47.0±3.0%) without exerting any effect on the responses to brush and A-fiber stimulation. In contrast all the WDR cell responses to the afferent signals except for A-fiber stimulation were potentiated following spinal application of 1mM Sm or NM. On the other hand, 0.5mM SM-induced inhibitory effect was antagonized by 4-Ap(5μM) plus ??(2.5mM) while 1mM SM-induced excitatory effect was abolished by ??(15mM). Based on the results obtained from the present study together with other reported data, it is suggested that 0.5mM SM-induced inhibition of the WDR cell responses results from a depressed uptake of ?? due to selective blockade of N-type Ca-channels in the nerve terminals.

        황해 폐기를 투기해역(서해병) 표층 퇴적물의 금속원소 분포

        The aim of this study was to investigate the accumulation of metallic elements and the control effect of marine pollution caused by ocean dumping in the sediments at a waste disposal area in the Yellow Sea. In July 2009, concentrations of organic matter and metallic elements (Al, Fe, As, Cd, Cr, Co, Hg, Ni, Mn, Pb, and Zn) were measured in surface sediments at the site. The ignition loss (IL) in the surface sediments showed a mean value of 15.4%, about 1.5 times higher than the mean value of the sediments in the coastal areas of Korea. The chemical oxygen demand (COD) at some disposal sites exceeded 20 ㎎ O2/gㆍdry. Which signifies the initial concentration of marine sediment pollutants in Japan. The disposal sites contain higher concentrations of Cr, Cu and Zn than the sediments of bays and estuaries that might be contaminated. The magnitude of both metal enrichment factors (EF) and adverse biological effects suggest that pollution with Cr and Ni occurred due to the dumping of waste in the study area. In addition, the geoaccumulation index (Igeo) showed that the surface sediments were moderately contaminated. By the mid-2000s, when the amount of waste dumped at this site was the highest, the concentration of metallic elements was higher than ever recorded. On the other hand, in 2008-09, the need for environmental management was relatively low compare with the peak. As a result, the quality of marine sediment has been enhanced, considering the effect of waste reduction and natural dilution in the disposal area.

        The inline manufacturing equipment using a combination of the belt source and LPS source which is innovatively designed is introduced for the large-size AMOLED. The features of the inline system include 60sec TACT time, 19 numbers of chambers, non-substrate bending and easy application to very thin TFT substrates for the $4^{th}$ - $8^{th}$ Generation AMOLEDs.
