        죽력이 3T3-L1 세포의 증식 및 분화시 Type 4 collagen and Laminin의 합성에 미치는 영향

        N/A Objectives : The purpose of this research was to investigate effects of Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen (BCL) on the synthesis of basement membrane proteins during proliferation and differentiation of 3T3-Ll cells. We have analyzed synthetic amounts of basement membrane components such as type IV collagen and laminin. Methods : 3T3-Ll cells grown on 24-well plates were cultured for 24h in the presence or absence of BCL. These cultures were metabolically labeled by incubating at 37 C for 4h in methionine free MEM containing [i5Slmethionine after incubation in the same medium without [:S]methionine. Results : BCL stimulated the synthesis and secretion of type IV collagen from both 3T3-Ll preadipocytes and adipocytes. The synthesis and secretion of laminin was not affected by BCL. The continuous addition of BCL markedly stimulated cell growth and increased cell density. Conclusions : BCL stimulated the synthesis and secretion of type IV collagen from both 3T3-Ll preadipocytes and adipocytes. These results suggest an important role for type IV collagen in adipocyte hfferentiation.

      • A way of measuring learner's ongoing changes of interest and comprehension

        This study conducted to tried to find a way of on-line assessment of learner's interest and comprehension during interactive learning process. The result of experiment confirmed that learners' behavior patterns acquired from log data could be good predictors of learner s level of interest and comprehension in actual performance on KORI program. To predict learning outcome depending on the behaviors of individual learners, self-efficacy and mastery goal orientation were measured as individual differences. Then, participants were asked to use TA program KORI program at home for ten days and their response patterns were recorded through network. After using KORI, the levels of interest and comprehension were measured. As the result of multiple regression analysis, each learner' s interest and comprehension were predicted depending on the combination of log data captured on real-time. This prediction process was done differently depending on learners' characteristics. Since equations which predict learners' interest and comprehension are different depending on learners' characteristics, differential interfaces should be provided depending upon changes in their level of interest and comprehension.

        지각된 유능감과 교실목표구조에 의한 동기 변인 예측에 있어서 사회적 지지의 매개효과

        이 연구에서는 수학과 영어 교과를 중심으로 학습자 개인의 지각된 유능감과 교실목표구조, 사회적 지지 및 학습동기 변인 사이의 관련성을 조사하였다. 특히 사회적 지지 변인인 교사지지와 동료 지지가 교실목표구조와 동기 변인 사이를 매개하는지 여부를 구조방정식모형(SEM)의 적용을 통해 분석하였다. 중학교 2학년 학생 329명을 대상으로 실시한 설문의 응답을 분석한 결과, 몇 가지 흥미로운 결과가 관찰되었다. 첫째, 지각된 유능감은 수학과 영어 두 교과 모두에서 교사와 동료지지 및 자기효능감, 숙달목표, 수행접근목표, 그리고 긍정적 교실정서를 정적으로 예측하였다. 둘째, 교실숙달 목표구조는 두 과목 모두에서 교사지지, 동료지지, 숙달목표를 정적으로 예측한 반면, 교실수행목표 구조는 교사지지와 동료지지는 부적으로, 수행접근목표, 수행회피목표 및 시험불안은 정적으로 예측 하였다. 셋째, 교사지지 변인은 예상과 달리 긍정적 교실정서 뿐 아니라 시험불안의 정적 예측변인으로 작용하였다. 반면, 동료지지는 두 과목 모두에서 숙달목표의 정적 예측변인으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교사지지와 동료지지 변인의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 이들 두 사회적 지지 변인은 지각된 유능감 및 교실목표구조가 학습자의 인지적?정서적 동기 변인을 예측하는데 있어서 부분적인 매개변인의 역할을 수행하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이들 사회적 지지 변인의 매개효과는 교과에 따라 약간의 차이를 보였으나, 전반적으로는 일관된 양상을 보였다. We investigated the relationship between perceived competence, classroom goal structures, social support, and motivation variables in math and English with a group of 300 middle school students. In particular, mediating effects of social support variables were tested using structural equation modeling. Consistent with previous research, perceived competence positively predicted teacher support, peer support, self-efficacy, mastery goals, performance-approach goals, and positive classroom affect. Whereas classroom mastery goal structures positively predicted teacher support, peer support, and mastery goals, classroom performance goal structures negatively predicted teacher support and peer support, while positively predicting performance-approach and -avoidance goals and test anxiety. Teacher support was a positive predictor of positive classroom affect as well as performance-avoidance goals and test anxiety. Peer support was a positive predictor of mastery goals. The two social support variables, teacher support and peer support, mediated the predictive relationships of perceived competence and classroom goal structures with motivation variables. The pattern was generally consistent across math and English, although some mediation paths differed between the two subjects.

        사회과 검정 교과서의 내용 오류 문제

        교과서의 내용 오류에 대한 사회적 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 사회 교과서에 대한 검정심사를 근거로 오류의 유형과 빈도를 분석하였다. 심사본의 내용 오류에 대한 분석 결과 표기·표현 오류가 전체 오류의 68%를 차지하였고, 내용 오류는 32% 수준이었다. 내용 오류 중에는 기술 내용의 정치적·문화적 공정성과 관련한 오류, 사실이나 개념, 이론의 정확성과 관련한 오류 그리고 독도 표시, 동해 표기 등 지도와 관련한 오류가 다수를 차지하였다. 사회 교과서의 내용 오류를 줄이기 위한 대안으로 기초조사의 영향력 강화, 연구위원의 증대, 기간본의 질 관리 강화를 제안하였다. 이를 위해서는 기초조사의 운영 방식 변화와 인력 확대에 따른 예산 증액과 같은 행·재정적 변화가 필요하다. 그러나 무엇보다 중요한 것은 오류의 가능성을 수용하고 그것을 바로잡는 과정을 통해 교과서를 지속적으로 개선해 나갈 수 있다는 인식을 공유하는 것이다. Textbook of content error is increasing in the social interest. This research was conducted by 2009 revised curriculum of middle school textbook on social studies to content error. The results showed that each notation and representation errors and content error was 68% and 32% in submitted for authorization textbook. Content error were related to the political and cultural fairness and errors of description Some error, the correctness of the theory. Especially, an error occurred East sea and Dokdo mark. The primary strategies for reducing content errors of social studies should be enhancing in the first review and increasing research committee members, the quality management of publication textbook. in addition, for changing the first review and manpower enlargement, we need support to administration and expend the budget. Above all things, we should be share the recognition of accommodates the possibility of error and revision process textbooks.

        비만관련 한약혼합제제의 비만에 대한 효과

        N/A Objectives : This study was designed to investigate the effects of herbal composition on obese rats induced by high fat diet(@% of calories). Methods : Body weight, fat mass, and serum cholesterol were measured to find out the activity of herbal composition. Serum AST and ALT were tested to check the toxicity as well. Results : Treatment of herbal composition significantly decreased the weight gain and epididymal fat mass compared to control group. Serum total cholesterol level was significantly reduced by herbal containing diet. Also, herbal composition promoted the ratio of HDL cholesterol and total cholesterol. Conclusion : Results of this study showed that herbal composition might reduce body weight, body fat mass and improve the lipid composition in the obese rats fed high fat diet.

      • The Characteristic of Reward in Computer Assisted Learning

        Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) is quite different from in many aspects. CAL provides individualistic learning environment and facilitates autonomy of the learner. Thus the learners who uses CAL program has more sense of control and engages in more strategic learning than conventional learning environment. In this experiment, we used KORI (KORea university intelligent agent) which is a new type of ITS adopting TA (Teachable Agent) that fosters learning by teaching. So, we investigated the critical motivational factor that have influences in CAL learning and the effects of reward in CAL are another area of our interest. Thus, we divided two conditions that presence of reward and absence of reward. The 174 elementary school students(5th) were participated and they are randomly assigned the one of the reward conditions. Before entering the experimental instruction, all participants measured about metacognition, self-efficacy and goal orientation questionnaire as independent variables. Then, Participants were instructed of method of using KORI program and asked to study for ten days with KORI program at least 20 minutes everyday in their home, about 10 days. After 10 days, they were rated interest and comprehension. Regression results suggest that regardless of the presence of reward, metacognition is a positive predictor in interestingness. It indicate that metacognitive skills are required in CAL learning situation irrespective of reward. But on comprehension in the absence of reward, only self- efficacy appeared to be a positive predictor. In the presence of reward, performance goal orientation showed as a negative predictor of comprehension, whereas self-efficacy was a positive predictor. This result suggest that presence of reward especially interferes learning process of performance goal orientation in CAL learning situation. It could be interpreted that reward interferes the learning process of performance goal orientation by debilitating intrinsic motivation.

      • 甘草엑스의 抗炎 및 抗潰瘍作用에 대한 機轉

        Glycyrrhizae radix, commonly called licorice, has been used as anti-ulcerous and anti-inflammatory agents. It's main component, glycyrrhizin, is known to be effective as an anti-allergenic, anti-hepatic, and anti-viral agent, and shows steroid-like action. Histamine mediates and modulates inflammation through a variety of immuno-regulatory actions and stress-induced secretion of glucocorticoids(GC) is generally mediated by release of ACTH from the pituitary gland. This study was to investigate the mechanism of Glycyrrhizae Radix Ext. on anti-inflammatory and anti-ulcerous action. 1. The serum histamine contents was the most increased at the dose of 25㎍/㎏ LPS. injected rats(i.p), and the serum corticosterone was not significant. 2. Pretreatment of Glycyrrhizae radix Ext. (150㎎/㎏) was markedly decreasing the levels of serum histamine and corticosterone. 3. The serum histamine content was significantly increased in 120 minutes after LPS. injection. 4. The serum histamine content was decreased by pretreatment of cimetidine (H^2- receptor antagonist) 5㎎/㎏. These results were suggested that the effects of Glycyrrhizae Radix Ext, on anti-inflammatory and anti-ulcerous action was induced by its glucocorticoid-like action and inhibition of the histamine realese via H_2-receptor.
