<P>Smart delivery system of photosensitizer chlorin e6 (Ce6) has been developed for targeted photodynamic therapy (PDT). Simple self-assemblies of the mixtures comprising soybean lecithin derived phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylethanolamine-poly(L-histidine)(40) (PE-p-(His)(40)), and folic acid (FA) conjugated phosphatidylethanolamine-poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)(40) (PE-p(NIPAM)(40)-FA) in different ratios yield smart nanospheres characterized by (i) stable and uniform particle size (similar to 100 nm), (ii) positive surface charge, (iii) high hydrophobic drug (Ce6) loading efficiency up to 45%, (iv) covalently linked targeting moiety, (v) low cytotoxicity, and (vi) smartness showing p(His) block oriented pH and p(NIPAM) oriented temperature responsiveness. The Ce6-encapsulated vesicular nanospheres (Ce6@VNS) were used to confirm the efficiency of cellular uptake, intracellular distribution, and phototoxicity against KB tumor cells compared to free Ce6 at different temperature and pH conditions. The Ce6@VNS system showed significant photodynamic therapeutic efficiency on KB cells than free Ce6. A receptor-mediated inhibition study proved the site-specific delivery of Ce6 in targeted tumor cells.</P>

Optimal stopping problem without recall from a multivariate distribution is solved by using the concept of an equilibrium point which was introduced by J. Nash. The solution is derived for the two cases: 1. The case where the observation cost C is positive and the given upper bound K on the number of observations is infinite. 2. The case where the observation cost C is zero and the given upper bound K on the number of observations is finite.

The main purpose of fusion fuel supply system is to store and supply hydrogen isotopes needed for operation of ITER and to provide the necessary infrastructure for short and long term storage of large amount of hydrogen isotopes. The storage of tritium as metal tritide on hydride forming metals or intermetallic compounds is recognized as the most reliable and safe method. Considering the advantages and disadvantages of several hydrogen isotope getter materials, the authors suggest the use of ZrCo on the basis of its ideal P-T-C characteristics and its non pyrophoricity. The authors also suggest the hydrogen isotope storage beds design appropriate to the fusion fuel supply system.

In this paper, the foaming method of polymer concrete was studied. The pre-composition of polymer concrete consisted of unsaturated polyester as a binder material 15∼50wt%, sand 0∼80 wt%, filler 5-50 wt%, and foaming agent 0.1∼1.5 wt%. The pre-composition was heated at 100∼200℃ for 30∼120 minutes, which thermal treatment caused hardening of unsaturated polyester and cracking of foaming agent. The foamed polymer concrete showed low thermal transfer coefficent together with good mechanical properties.

In this paper, the composition of lead glass was studied to lower the melting temperature. The composition of lead glass was silica, lead monoxide, sodium hydroxide, and other metal oxides which were blended in alkaline aqueous solution. The blend was dried and melted to produce transparent glass material. Using the composition suggested in this paper, it was possible to manufacture transparent lead glass easily at 700~900 ℃. And the dried bled material had very low softening temperature around 200℃ which can be applied in inorganic adhesives.
