Since real road experiments have many restrictions, a multi-vehicle traffic simulator can be an effective tool to develop and evaluate fully automated driving systems. This paper presents multi-vehicle environment simulation tool to develop and evaluate motorway automated driving systems. The proposed simulation tool consists of following two main parts: surrounding vehicle model and environment sensor model. The surrounding vehicle model is designed to quickly generate rational complex traffic situations of motorway. The environment sensor model depicts uncertainty of environment sensor. As a result, various traffic situations with uncertainty of environment sensor can be proposed by the multi-vehicle environment simulation tool. An application to automated driving system has been conducted. A lane changing algorithm is evaluated by performance indexes from the multi-vehicle environment simulation tool.
균일한 대역폭을 갖는 광대역 분산 및 분산 경사 보상을 위한 순 위상 샘플링 광섬유 Bragg 격자

색 분산과 색 분산 경사를 보상하기 위하여 결합 계수가 파장 축을 따라 첩 된 순 위상 샘플링 광섬유 Bragg 격자를 제안하였다. 기존의 샘플링 주기의 첩과 결합 계수의 첩을 동시에 이용하여 동일한 파장 다중 채널들의 대역폭들을 얻을 수 있었다. We demonstrated numerically that both the chromatic dispersion and the dispersion slope could be compensated by using purely phase-sampled superstructure fiber Bragg gratings provided with chirp of coupling coefficient along the wavelength axis. Also, we propose a purely phase-sampled Bragg grating for dispersion and dispersion slope compensation by introducing a chirp in coupling coefficient and sampling function. The bandwidth of all reflected channels can be equalized.
자율주행을 위한 레이더 기반 인지 알고리즘의 정량적 분석

This paper presents a quantitative evaluation method and result of moving vehicle perception using automotive radar. It is also important to analyze the accuracy of the perception algorithm quantitatively as well as to accurately percept nearby moving vehicles for safe and efficient autonomous driving. In this study, accuracy of the automotive radar-based perception algorithm which is developed based on interacting multiple model (IMM) has been verified via vehicle tests on real roads. In order to obtain experimental data for quantitative evaluation, Long Range Radar (LRR) has been mounted on the front of the ego vehicle and Short Range Radar (SRR) has been mounted on the rear side of both sides. RT-range has been installed on the ego vehicle and the target vehicle to simultaneously collect reference data on the states of the two vehicles. The experimental data is acquired in various relative positions and velocity, and the accuracy of the algorithm has been analyzed according to relative position and velocity. Quantitative analysis is conducted on relative position, relative heading angle, absolute velocity, and yaw rate of each vehicle.
SLD 동조 광원을 이용한 브라그 파장 측정 LPG 센서의 신호처리 시스템

본 논문에서는 광섬유 장주기 격자를 이용한 센서 신호처리 시스템을 구현하였다. SLD와 Fabry-Perot 필터를 이용한 동조 반도체 광원과 Fabry-Perot 필터내의 PZT의 히스테리시스 특성을 보상하기 위한 에탈론 필터를 사용하였으며, 절대적인 기준 파장을 제공하기 위하여 온도 안정화된 광섬유 브래그 격자를 사용하였다. 시스템에서 검출된 신호를 A/D 변환하여 컴퓨터로 입력하고 신호 처리하여 결과를 모니터상에 표시하였다. A signal processing system of long period grating sensor that works in the optical wavelength domain is proposed. The system is based on a wavelength-swept semiconductor light source that includes an SLD and a F-P tunable filter. The hysteresis effects of PZT in the F-P filter is compensated by using an etalon filter and an athermal Fiber Bragg Grating. The detected signals from the photodiode are transmitted to a computer using an A/D converter and the result of the process is displayed in the monitor.
