        논문 : NHK(일본방송협회) 텔레비전 교육 방송을 통한 한국어 교육

        The purpose of this paper is to examine the television "Hangul Course" program which was broadcast on the Japanese public broadcasting station NHK (Nippon Hoosoo Kyookai or Japan Broadcasting Corporation) from April 2005-Mar 2006. The contents to be included and how they should be presented in Korean language education programs in the future are also discussed. NHK`s "Hangul Course" began in 1984 and was updated during this period by lecturer KIM Jina and supervisor NOMA Hideki, with the intention of: (1) putting stress on learning the Korean language itself, (2) teaching Korean from a contrastive linguistic point of view, focusing on various differences in expressions, verbal conjugation systems, and in discourse structures in Korean and Japanese, (3) incorporating the fruits of studies on discourse, such as discourse markers, the politeness markers -yo/-iyo, speech level shifts, addressing and hailing, chengca panung palhwa or backchannel expressions, fillers, and turn-taking, (4) having serial "mini" dramas which are made for learning not only language but also culture, (5) and utilizing visual constituents such as animation or computer graphics.         Control of surfaces and heterointerfaces of AlGaN/GaN system for sensor devices and their on-chip integration on nanostructures

        For successful construction of sensor devices and their future on-chip integration on nanostructures, this paper discusses the presentstatus of understanding and control of surfaces and heterointerfaces of the AlGaN/GaN material system by reviewing a series of worksrecently carried out by the authors’ group.Leakage currents in Schottky contacts are explained by the authors’ thin surface barrier (TSB) model. An important role is played byprocess for oxygen gettering. An unprecedented high sensitivity has been obtained in AlGaN/GaN Schottky diode hydrogen sensor byapplying the surface control process. Liquid-phase AlGaN/GaN sensors having an open-gate HFET structure show a very good pHsensing capability as well as a good sensing capability of polar liquids. Finally, the selective MBE growth of AlGaN/GaN nanowire net-work is discussed as a basic hardware structure for the on-chip integration of sensors, paying attention to the heterointerface control.

        Current Transport, Fermi Level Pinning, and Transient Behavior of Group-III Nitride Schottky Barriers

        The current transport, Fermi level pinning and transient behavior of Group-III nitride Schottky barriers are reviewed. First, an overview of interface models is given. Then, the current transport mechanism in GaN, AlGaN, and InGaN Schottky barriers is discussed. We show that discrepancy in barrier height measurements in the I-V and the C-V methods, as well as large reverse leakage currents, can be explained by using the thin surface barrier (TSB) model. This understanding has led to a large leakage reduction by using an oxygen gettering process. Finally, the transient behavior of AlGaN/ GaN planar Schottky diodes is discussed to get insight into the surface-related current collapse phenomenon in AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs). The responses are explained in terms of the dispersive transport caused by a time-continual random walk with hopping through surface states. This provides a new understanding of the current collapse.         The Stock Listing and Business Value Estimation of Japan Post Holdings

        2012년 4월 27일 우정서비스 민영화와 관련 법의 부분적인 개정에 따라, 일본의 우정 그룹은 주식상장 계획을 발표했다. 이 계획의 주요한 핵심은, 정부가 100% 지배하고 있고 우정 그룹의 홀딩기업인 일본 우정 홀딩스(JPH)가 2015년 봄을 목표로 그 주식의 공매를 시작하는 것이고 주식의 판매대금은 2011년의 동일본 지진의 피해지역의 복구 기금으로 충당하는 것이다. 이 연구는 공시된 재무정보를 이용하여 JPH의 기업가치를 평가할 것이다. 이는 미래의 우정서비스의 개혁의 전제이며 특히 주식상장의 주요 쟁점이기도 하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 잔여이익모델을 이용하여 민감도분석을 실행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 PBR>1과 자본코스트가 4% 또는 5% 보다 작은 조건에서 JPH의 기업가치는 5.06조 에서 8.61조 엔(49.2십억에서 83.8십억 미국달러) 또는 5.81조에서 7.59조 엔(56.2십억 73.8십억 미국달러)의 범위에서 평가되었다. Following the enactment of the “Act for Partial Revision of the Postal Service Privatization Act and Others” on April 27, 2012, the Japan Post Group announced a stock listing plan. The main point of this plan is that Japan Post Holdings (JPH), a 100% government-owned holding company of the group, will start selling its shares, with a target period of autumn 2015 and that the proceeds from the sale of shares are supposed to be devoted to funding reconstruction in the area damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake 2011. This paper seeks to estimate, based on published financial information, the business value of JPH, which is an important premise for the debate regarding future postal service reforms, and, the issue of the stock listing in particular. For this purpose, we use what is called the “residual income model,” in which the research takes on the nature of a sensitivity analysis. Our research results reveal that the business value of JPH can be estimated to be in the range of 5.06 to 8.61 trillion yen (49.2 to 83.8 billion US dollar), or 5.81 to 7.59 trillion yen (56.2 to 73.8 billion US dollar), and that to achieve a PBR > 1, capital cost must be less than 5% or 4%.

      • Development of Remote Radar/AIS Network System for Observing and Analyzing Vessel Traffic in Tokyo Bay

        Accurate vessel traffic observation is indispensable to carry out vessel traffic management, design of vessel traffic route, planning of port construction, etc. In order to observe the vessel traffic accurately without many efforts such as the use of a ship or car equipped with special radar observation system and the preparation of observation staff, the authors have been developing completely automated remote radar/AIS network system covering the main traffic area in Tokyo Bay. The composite radar image observed at Yokosuka and Kawasaki radar stations with AIS information can be seen on web site of Internet. In addition to the development of radar/AIS observation system, the software to analyze observed vessel traffic flow has been developed. This software has various functions such as automatic tracking of ship’s positions, automatic estimation of ship’s size, automatic integration of radar image and AIS data, animation of ships’ movements, extraction of dangerous ship encounters, etc. The configuration and functions of the developed remote radar/AIS network system are shown first in this paper. Then various functions of the software to analyze vessel traffic are introduced, and some analyzed results on the vessel traffic in Tokyo Bay are described demonstrating the effectiveness of the developed system.

      • Development of Steering Behavior Recognition Method by Using Sensing Data of Drive Recorder

        This paper proposes the steering behavior, e.g. lane keeping, lane changing, recognition method by using sensing data of drive recorder. To reduce traffic accidents, it is necessary to improve not only active safety technology, but also the driver awareness about driving safety. One of the methods to increase the driver awareness is to inform the degree of safety of driving behavior. To realize the system, it is necessary to develop the driving behavior recognition algorithm by sensing data of drive recorder. Therefore, this study focuses on lane change recognition method and develops the algorithm by sequential labeling method based on boosting framework; Boosted Conditional Random Fields. To develop the algorithm, four features are focused here to train the model: those are, velocity, steering wheel angle, moving variance and moving standard deviation. Finally, the recognition results are shown, and the best features in machine learning process for recognition algorithm are examined.

        Role of Acid Suppression in Acid-related Diseases: Proton Pump Inhibitor and Potassium-competitive Acid Blocker

        Proton pump inhibitors are commonly utilized for the treatment of gastric acid-related diseases, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, and Helicobacter pylori infection, and for the prevention of low-dose aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug-induced peptic ulcers. Vonoprazan is a first-in-class potassium-competitive acid blocker, which has distinct advantages compared to other conventional proton pump inhibitors in terms of the efficacy for acid suppression. Due to its strong gastric acid suppression capabilities, vonoprazan serves as an effective drug for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and H. pylori infection.
