      • Validation of the Korean version of the Mental Health Literacy Scale

        Aim(s): Mental health literacy refers to knowledge and beliefs about mental illness pertaining to their recognition, management, or prevention. Mental health literacy can be an important factor in early detection of mental disorders because it directly influences help-seeking behavior. The aim of this study is to validate the Korean version of the 26-item English mental health literacy scale with adolescents and adults. Method(s): Individuals in their teens to 50s participated in this study to identify the psychometric properties of the Korean version of the Mental Health Literacy Scale, which underwent a linguistic validation. An exploratory factor analysis was first performed (n = 242), followed by a confirmatory factor analysis (n = 252). The criterion-related validity and Kuder-Richardson Formula 20 for instrument reliability were also examined. Result(s): There were 16 items in the Korean version of the Mental Health Literacy Scale. Three factors were extracted from the items, which included eight items on beliefs about mental health, four items on knowledge of mental health, and four items on the perception of resources for mental health. The three factors were found to explain 55.76% of all the items. The results of a confirmatory factor analysis showed a comparative fit index of 0.943, Tucker Lewis index of 0.932, and root mean square error of approximation of 0.052, indicating that the model was suitable. Criterion-related validity results for the Korean Mental Health Literacy Scale and Attitudes toward Seeking Professional Help were r = 0.40 and r = 0.44, respectively. The Kuder-Richardson Formula 20 reliability coefficient was 0.825 for all the items. Conclusion(s): The validity and reliability of the Korean version of the Mental Health Literacy Scale were substantiated for all adolescent and adult participants. This scale can be valuably used to examine the level of understanding of mental health in adults and adolescents.

        육군 초급간부의 정신건강이해력

        Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the level of mental health literacy (MHL) of the R.O.K junior army offices. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional survey design was used with a convenient sample. The survey data were collected from 145 junior army officers. Participants were presented with a survey about 2-case vignettes (schizophrenia and depression) and responded questions assessing recognition of these mental problems and understanding about the helpfulness of interventions and resources. Descriptive analysis, t-test and x<sup>2</sup>-test were performed. Result: The rate of recognition for mental health problems was 15.3 percent for schizophrenia and 43.4 percent for depression. Participants understood stress, unconscious conflict and interpersonal conflict as causes for both schizophrenia and depression. they believed that psychological counseling was helpful intervention and family and friends were useful care resources. Conclusion: The findings indicate that education program is necessary to improve the mental health literacy of the junior army officer.

        청소년 자녀를 둔 부모와 중,고등학교 교사의 정신건강이해력

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of mental health literacy (MHL) among parents of adolescents and middle and high school teachers in Korea. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional survey design was used for the present study. Participants were 120 parents and 103 middle and high school teachers in Korea. In 2014-2015 participants completed a survey about two case vignettes(adolescent schizophrenia and depression) and answered questions assessing recognition of these disorders and belief about the helpfulness of interventions and resources. Descriptive analysis, t-test and x2 test were performed. Results: Schizophrenia was recognized by only 11.6% of parents and 25.2% of teachers. Depression was recognized by 32.5% of parents and 59.2% of teachers. Both parents and teachers acknowledged individual and socio-environmental factors as causes for schizophrenia and depression. However, they were less likely to recognize biological factors as potential causes for mental illness. Conclusion: The findings demonstrate the need for education programs for parents of adolescents and teachers to improve their mental health literacy, particularly concerning biological causes of mental illness.

        상호문화적 소통 능력을 위한 융복합 교수-학습 방안 연구 -국어와 도덕 교과의 "배려"를 중심으로

        이 연구는 다문화 사회에 적합한 국어교육의 핵심역량으로 설정한 ``상호문화적 소통 능력``의 구성 요소를 밝히고, 이를 위한 교과 간의 융복합 교수-학습 방안을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. ``상호문화적 소통 능력``은 복합적인 채널을 통해 수많은 지식과 가치들을 공유하고, 다양한 문화적 배경을 가진 구성원들과 활발히 교류하는 다문화 사회의 학습자들이 그들을 둘러싼 다양한 문화들의 상호성을 이해하고 존중하며 소통할 수 있는 능력을 말한다. ``상호문화적 소통 능력``은 국어과의 핵심역량으로서, ``지식, 기능, 태도``에 해당하는 구성 요소들의 결합을 토대로 구축된다. 이때 ``상호문화적 소통 능력``의 구성 요소는 ``지식, 기능 태도``의 범주에 따라 각각 ``다양한 언어문화에 대한 지식``과 ``호혜적 문제해결에 대한 지식``, ``적확한 언어 사용 능력``과 ``협력적 관계 형성 능력``, ``다양성 존중의 태도``와 ``배려의 태도``로 구분된다. 이러한 ``상호문화적 소통 능력``은 지금여기, 그리고 미래 사회를 살아가야 하는 학습자들이 길러야 하는 목표에 해당하는 것으로, ``상호문화적 소통 능력`` 신장을 위한 효과적인 교수-학습 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 이를 위해 실천 양식으로서 교과 간 통합을 지향하는 융복합 교육의 교수-학습을 적극 활용할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 국어과와 도덕과의 통합을 실현한 ``공유모형``을 기반으로 ``상호문화적 소통 능력``의 구성 요소 중 ``배려의 태도``를 위한 융복합 교수-학습 방안을 제안해 보았다. 담화 상황에 따른 ``배려``의 가치를 탐구하여 그들의 삶 속에서 ``배려의 태도``를 실천할 수 있도록 ``가치 탐구 학습법``과 ``역할놀이 학습법``이 결합된 복합 모형을 적용해 ``배려``의 교수-학습 과정을 마련한 것이다. The purpose of this study is to find out components of ``intercultural communication ability`` established as key competence of Korean language education suited to a multicultural society, and suggest a convergence teaching-learning plan between subjects for the foregoing. ``Intercultural communication ability`` refers to the ability that learners in multicultural society sharing various knowledge and values and exchanging various cultural backgrounds with members actively through a complex channel understand, respect and communicate reciprocality of various cultures encircling them. ``Intercultural communication ability``, as key competence of Korean language subject, is constructed based on the combination of components corresponding to ``knowledge, function and attitude``, Components of ``intercultural communication ability`` are classified as ``knowledge of various linguistic cultures``, ``knowledge of reciprocal problem-solving``, ``ability to use accurate language``, ``ability to form a cooperative relation, ``attitude respecting diversity`` and ``caring attitude`` according to the categories of ``knowledge, function and attitude``. ``Intercultural communication ability`` corresponds to the objective that learners living here now and will live in the future society should develop, so an effective teaching-learning plan for increasing ``intercultural communication ability`` should be prepared. For the objective, teaching-learning in convergence education aiming at the integration between subjects as a practical mode can be actively utilized. Of the components of ``intercultural communication ability``, this study suggested a convergence teaching-learning plan for ``caring attitude`` based on the ``Shared Model`` that realized integration between Korean language and Moral subjects. This means that this study prepared a teaching-learning course for ``caring`` by applying a complex model that ``value inquiring learning method`` and ``role playing learning method`` are integrated for enabling learners to fulfill ``caring attitude`` in their life by seeking the value of ``caring`` according to the situation of conversation.

      • The effects of minimally invasive laser needle system on suppression of trabecular bone loss induced by skeletal unloading.

        <P>This study was aimed to evaluate the effects of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) in the treatment of trabecular bone loss induced by skeletal unloading. Twelve mice have taken denervation operation. At 2 weeks after denervation, LLLT (wavelength, 660 nm; energy, 3 J) was applied to the right tibiae of 6 mice (LASER) for 5 days/week over 2 weeks by using a minimally invasive laser needle system (MILNS) which consists of a 100 μm optical fiber in a fine needle (diameter, 130 μm) [corrected]. Structural parameters and histograms of bone mineralization density distribution (BMDD) were obtained before LLLT and at 2 weeks after LLLT. In addition, osteocyte, osteoblast, and osteoclast populations were counted. Two weeks after LLLT, bone volume fraction, trabeculae number, and trabeculae thickness were significantly increased and trabecular separations, trabecular bone pattern factor, and structure model index were significantly decreased in LASER than SHAM (p?<?0.05). BMDD in LASER was maintained while that in SHAM was shifted to lower mineralization. Osteocyte and osteoblast populations were significantly increased but osteoclast population was significantly decreased in LASER when compared with those in SHAM (p?<?0.05). The results indicate that LLLT with the MILNS may enhance bone quality and bone homeostasis associated with enhancement of bone formation and suppression of bone resorption.</P>

      • 구조화 조명(Structured Light)을 이용한 3차원 데이터의 획득 방법

        구조화 조명(structured light)을 사용하여 얻은 물체의 계조 화상을 처리하여 3차원 데이터를 얻을 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 시스템은 영상 획득 카드에 연결된 CCD 카메라와 슬라이드 프로젝터, 화상 처리 및 가시화하는 부분을 포함한 여러 개의 프로그램으로 구성되어 있다. 3차원 데이터를 얻기 위해 필요한 카메라와 프로젝터의 캘리브레이션 과정 및 여러 단계의 화상 처리 과정에 대해 상세히 기술하였다. 몇 가지 물체에 대한 화상을 획득하여 처리한 실험 결과를 포함하였으며, 오차의 해석 결과 상당히 정밀한 데이터를 얻을 수 있었다. 계산된 3차원 데이터를 VRML 언어의 형태로 변환하는 간단한 프로그램을 작성하여 시각적으로 화면상에 재구성도 해 보았으며 보다 더 간편하고 경제적으로 3차원 데이터를 획득할 수 있는 시스템이 되기 위한 차후의 개선책에 대해서도 기술하였다. Three dimensional data acquisition system based on the structured light is developed in this work. The developed system is compose of CCD camera, slide projector, and various image processing programs. The calibration procedure of camera and projector is explained and several image processing steps which are necessary to get the range data are described also. Preliminary experimental result shows that the developed system may be used as a simple and cheap 3D data acquisition system.

      • 추진제 점화 알루미늄 분말 연소 실험

        마이크론 사이즈의 알루미늄 분말과 공기의 연소에 대한 실험적인 연구가 수행되었다. 알루미늄 입자는 산화 피막으로 싸여 있기 때문에 점화 및 연소가 어렵다. 그러므로 추진제(HTPE)를 사용한 점화와 긴 연소실에서 오랜 체류시간이라는 조건을 만듦으로써 알루미늄 분말의 연소를 위한 연소시스템이 구축되었다. 알루미늄 분말과 공기의 화염은 전단동축인젝터-예혼합 연소실에서 긴 영역에 걸쳐 형성되었고, 연소 조건은 당량비 약 0.72로서 연료 희박 조건이었다. The combustion phenomenon of micro-sized aluminum(Al) powder with air was studied experimentally. Because of the oxide layer which is covered the a Al particle, the ignition and combustion are difficult. Therefore the combustion system was constructed in order to burn the Al powder after removing the oxide layer by ignition of the propellant(HTPE) and achieving a long residence time in a long combustor. The flame of the Al powder with air was formed to a long length in the shear coaxial injector-premixed combustor and the flame condition was fuel lean combustion(Φ≒0.72)

      • Hydro-reactive metal을 활용한 고순도 수소발생기법 연구

        국내 연료전지 시장 확대에 따라 고순도 수소의 수요가 증가하고 있으며, 기존의 화석연료 개질법과 전기분해법은 화석연료고갈, 부산물(CO, CO2)처리로 인한 정제공정 복잡화, 전기분해 시 높은 생산단가 및 저효율 등의 문제로 이를 보완한 새로운 수소제조법이 필요한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 반응성이 높은 수반응 금속과 알칼리 수용액의 화학반응을 이용하여 수소를 발생시키는 방법을 소개하고 있으며, 시스템 구성은 수소를 발생시키는 수소발생시스템, 발생된 수소가스를 정제시키는 정제시스템, 각종 데이터 저장 및 제어를 위한 제어/계측 시스템 및 수소가스 취급 시폭발/화재에 대비하기 위한 안전시스템으로 구성된다. 이는 반응생성물이 산화알루미늄과 물로 환경유해물질이 없다는 점, 전기분해법 대비 생산단가가 60% 수준이라는 점에서 기존 기술의 단점을 보완 할 수 있다. The demand for high purity hydrogen is increasing due to domestic fuel cell market expansion. The fossil-fuel reforming and electrolytic method has problems such as exhaustion of fossil fuel, by-product(CO, CO2) purification process, high production costs and low efficiency. In this study, hydrogen generation method is introduced using highly reactive metal with an aqueous alkaline solution. The hydrogen generation system is consist of the reactor to generate hydrogen, the purification system to make hydrogen high purity, control/measuring system to store/control each data and safety system to prevent explosion/fire. This method may supplement the existing method because of environment-friendly and low production cost.
