A New Proactive Micro Mobility Protocol for Wireless Network
Dhananjay Singh,Kyeong-Hoon Do,Wan-Young Chung 대한전자공학회 2007 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2007 No.7
In Internet, classical packet switching and hierarchical mobile management has experienced problems in managing mobility especially in micro level and macro level, in the last decade. At many micro mobility protocols failed to reduce both network load and losses in the network, due to miss routed packets at the time of handoff routed from old base station after the cell switch and from the current base station before cell switch. So a new protocol, “Proactive Micro Mobility Protocol”, has been proposed to optimize network load, besides inheriting all the positive features of cellular IP. The present protocol designed on the basis of “Prediction of Handover” in mobile environment, analyzed and compared with cellular IP protocol. The proposed protocol has been simulated using CMIS software, provided by Colombia University.

An inexpensive and efficient catalyst system has been developed for the N-arylation of phenylurea including a variety of aryl halides. This simple protocol uses Cu2O as the catalyst, microwave assisted, solvent- and ligandfree,K3PO4·H2O as the base.

A series of perovskite CaTiO3:Dy3+ nanophosphors have been preparedvia solid state reaction method in order to investigate the structural, spectral and photometric properties. The structural, morphological andspectral properties of prepared nanophosphors were systematicallycharacterized by XRD, FESEM, EDX, Photoluminescence, PL decaytime and UV-Visible spectroscopy. The novel CaTiO3:Dy3+ nanophosphorsexhibited single phase orthorhombic structure with space group Pbnm. The high magnification FESEM images of prepared sample demonstratedthe particle size in the range 220-240 nm. The photoluminescenceproperties of Dy3+ doped CaTiO3 nanophosphors were investigatedthrough excitation, emission spectra and decay time by varying theconcentration of activator (Dy3+). Under the excitation of 386 nm UVlight, Dy3+ activated CaTiO3 nanophosphors exhibited its characteristicexcellent intense emissions in blue and yellow region around thewavelength 484 and 575 nm due to the transition 4F9/2→6H15/2 and 4F9/2→6H13/2 respectively. The photometric parameters such as CIE-coordinate and correlated color temperature (CCT) was alsocalculated. The CIE- coordinate (0.28, 0.32) was found near white light and CCT value was found to be 9222.31 K for optimumcomposition Ca0.96TiO3:0.04Dy3+ which was useful for cold light emission. The affirmative experimental results indicated thatthe prepared nanophosphors could be the favorable candidate for lighting applications.

Objectives: The present study was designed to estimate the prevalence of dyslipidemia and hypertension based on the National Cholesterol Educational Programme Adult Treatment Panel III definition of metabolic syndrome (MetS). The study also focuses on prevalence for MetS with respect to the duration of disease in GwalioreChambal region of Madhya Pradesh, India. Methods: Type 2 diabetic patients (n = 700) were selected from a crosssectional study that is regularly being conducted in the School of Studies in Biochemistry, Jiwaji University Gwalior, India. The period of our study was from January 2007 to October 2009. Dyslipidemia and hypertension were determined in type 2 diabetic patients with MetS as per National Cholesterol Educational Programme Adult Treatment Panel III criteria. Results: The mean age of the study population was 54±9.3 years with 504 (72%) males and 196 (28%) females. The prevalence of MetS increased with increased duration of diabetes in females; however, almost constant prevalence was seen in the males. Notable increase in the dyslipidemia (64.1%) and hypertension (49%) in type 2 diabetic patients were seen. The steep increase in dyslipidemia and hypertension could be the reason for the growing prevalence of diabetes worldwide. The study also noted a close association between age and occurrence of MetS. Conclusion: Individual variable of MetS appears to be highly rampant in diabetic population. Despite treatment, almost half of patients still met the criteria for MetS. Effective treatment of MetS components is required to reduce cardiovascular risk in diabetes mellitus hence accurate and early diagnosis to induce effective treatment of MetS in Indian population will be pivotal in the prevention of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes.
IP-based Ubiquitous Healthcare System
Dhananjay Singh,US Tiwary,Wan-Young Chung 제어로봇시스템학회 2008 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2008 No.10
This paper presents a new concept of MAC and LOAD protocols for IP based ubiquitous healthcare system. The system used IEEE 802.15.4 standard lowpan with integrated IPv6. For healthcare system we added LOAD (6lowpan Ad-hoc on Demand Distance Vector) and MAC (Medium Access Control) protocols in Harvan’ 6lowpan stack. 6lowpan stack has ability to connect the physical environment in real-world applications such as healthcare, wireless sensor network, network technology etc. IP-enable motes set on the patient body for retrieving biomedical from body in PAN. PAN network connected PC via gateway or base station for further analysis or to the doctor’ PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). The doctor can recognize or analysis patient data from anywhere on globe by internet service provider equipments (PDA). Result shows the performance biomedical data packets in multi-hope routing as well as represents the topology of the networks. TelosB motes were tested on octopus simulator in tinyOS2.02 for performance of biomedical data communication and network topology.
