<P>Cellulolytic bacteria living in food can be applied to microbial feed additives to improve fiber digestion in animal feeds. In this study, a cellulase-producing bacteria was isolated from salted clam and treated with physical or chemical agents to enhance their enzyme production. The bacteria was identified as a strain of Bacillus subtilis on the basis of 16S rRNA analysis. Endo-1,4-beta-D-glucanase (endoglucanase) was produced by the wild type using 0.4% carboxy-methyl-cellulose as a carbon source with maximal activity (0.04 U/mL) after 24 h incubation. Insoluble cellulose and oat spelt xylan were also used as carbon sources for investigation of exoglucanase and xylanase,however, these enzymes were not found in the culture supernatant. Maximum endoglucanase activity of Bacillus subtilis sp. was measured at 50 degrees C and pH 5, respectively. Then, the strain was subjected to classical mutagenesis (UV-irradiation and chemical treatment) to improve endoglucanase production. A mutant strain, Pll treated with ethyl methyl sulfonate was finally selected. Mutant Pll was sub-cultured and tested for endoglucanase production, which was 0.05 U/mL after 24 h growth. The significant difference of endoglucanase production between wild type and mutant Pll was prolonged to 10th generation. Thus, the mutant strain was found to have enhanced endoglucanase production.</P>

자율주행 그리고 차량공유 시대의 도래로 자동차 PdM의 필요가 부상하고 있다. 하지만 이제껏 PdM이 적용된 다른 산업들과는 다르게, 자동차의 주변환경은 변화의 폭이 크고 고사양의 데이터 수집 인프라를 활용하기 어렵다. 본 논문은 현시점 자동차의 주요 구성요소 중 데이터 취득 및 분석이 가장 용이한 브레이크 패드를 연구하여, AI에 의한 차량 상태 모니터링과 건전성 예측의 가능성을 검토한다. 브레이크 패드의 동역학에 관련된 CAN 데이터, 그리고 차량에 가속도센서를 장착하여 수집한 제동 시의 0~250Hz 대역 진동 3축 성분 STFT 값을 학습 데이터로 사용했다. 모델은 LGBM, XGBoost, 딥러닝 기법을 조합하여 앙상블 학습했다.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze and discuss the etfects of surface roughness by comparing the elastohydrodynamic lubrication(EHL) analysis of smooth surface and rough surface as the ball bearing. In order to do this, The average flow model is adapted for the interaction of the flow rheology of lubricant and surface roughness. The average Reynolds equation and the related flow factor which describes the coupled effects of surface roughness and flow rheology, the viscosity-pressure and density-pressure relations equations, the elastic deformation equation, and the force balance equation are solved simultaneously. The results show that effects of surtace roughness on the film thickness and pressre distribution should he considered especially in EHL contact problems.
소규모 매립지에 대한 메탄발생속도상수(k) 산출 및 온실가스 발생량 평가

본 연구에서는 현재 사용 중인 2곳(H, Y 매립지)의 소규모 매립장에 대한 매립지 특성 자료수집과 현장측정을 통한 LFG 배출량 산정을 수행하였으며, 이를 이용하여 이들 매립지에 적합한 2006 IPCC FOD 방법 적용 시 입력변수로 사용되는 메탄발생속 도상수(k)를 산출하여 보았다. 또한 이 결과를 default 값을 적용한 2006 IPCC GL의 FOD 방법에 의한 메탄 배출량 산정결과와 비교함으로써 특정매립지에 대한 동일한 k값 적용의 타당성을 평가해 보았다. 매립지의 폐기물 조성 data를 이용한 DOC 산정 결과, 매립되어지는 폐기물의 물리적 조성 차이로 인하여 H 매립지(1997∼2011)는 13.16 %∼23.79 %(16.52 ± 3.84 %)로 나타났으며, Y매립지(1994∼2011)는 7.24 %∼34.67 %(14.56 ± 7.30 %)의 값을 보여 IPCC 가이드라인에서 제시한 Bulk waste 타입의 기본값인 18.0 %와 비교할 때 H 매립지보다 Y 매립지가 큰 차이를 보였다. 2006 IPCC GL에 제시된 FOD방법의 메탄 배출량 산정식을 이용한 k값 산정 결과, H 매립지의 산정된 평균 k값은 0.0413 yr<SUP>-1</SUP>, Y 매립지의 산정된 평균 k값은 0.0117 yr<SUP>-1</SUP>로 나타나 IPCC 가이드라인에 제시된 기본값인 0.09 yr-1에 비하여 상대적으로 낮은 값을 보였다. 따라서 2006 IPCC 가이드라인의 defaults value(k=0.09) 값에 의한 온실가스 배출량 산정결과는 현장측정을 통해 산정된 k값에 의한 추정값에 비하여 과대평가될 수 있어 매립지에서 발생하는 정확한 온실가스 배출량 예측을 위해서는 각각의 매립지별 현장측정을 통한 고유의 k값 결정을 통한 산정이 진행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. In this study, greenhouse gas emission for small scale landfill (H and Y landfill) was investigated to deduce special the methane generation rate constant(k). To achieve the purpose, the data of physical composition was collected and amount of LFG emission was calculated by using FOD method suggested in 2006 IPCC GL. Also, amount of LFG emission was directly measured in the active landfill sites. By comparing the results, the methane generation rate constant(k), which was used as input variable in FOD method suggested in 2006 IPCC GL, was deduced. From the results on the physical composition, it was shown that the ranges of DOC per year in H (1997∼2011) and Y (1994∼2011) landfill sites were 13.16 %∼23.79 % (16.52 ± 3.84 %) and 7.24 %∼34.67 % (14.56 ± 7.30 %), respectively. The DOC results showed the differences with the suggested values (= 18 %) in 2006 IPCC GL. The average values of methane generation rate constant(k) from each landfill site were 0.0413 yr<SUP>-1</SUP> and 0.0117 yr<SUP>-1</SUP>. The results of methane generation rate constant(k) was shown big difference with 2006 IPCC GL defualt value (k = 0.09). It was confirmed that calculation results of greenhouse gas emission using default value in 2006 IPCC GL show excessive output.

<P>High-performance microrod single crystal organic transistors based on a p-type 2,7-dioctyl[1]benzothieno[3,2-b][1]benzothiophene (C8-BTBT) semiconductor are fabricated and the effects of grain boundaries on the carrier transport have been investigated. The spin-coating of C8-BTBT and subsequent solvent vapor annealing process enabled the formation of organic single crystals with high aspect ratio in the range of 10 - 20. It was found that the organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) based on these single crystals yield a field-effect mobility and an on/off current ratio of 8.04 cm2/Vs and > 10(5), respectively. However, single crystal OFETs with a kink, in which two single crystals are fused together, exhibited a noticeable drop of field-effect mobility, and we claim that this phenomenon results from the carrier scattering at the grain boundary.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Poly(vinylidenefluoride-<I>co</I>-hexafluoropropylene) (PVdF-HFP) nanocomposites were prepared with fluorinated barium titanate (BaTiO<SUB>3</SUB>) nanoparticles. BaTiO<SUB>3</SUB> nanoparticles was treated with 2,2,2-trifluoroacetic acid in Novec-7500 and the modified surface characteristics of the nanoparticles showed good solubility in the fluorous solvent and fluorous polymer. The optimized fluorinated BaTiO<SUB>3</SUB> condition had explored by controlling temperature and ligand ratio. The prepared nanocomposite through fluorinated nanoparticles were characterized by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, impedance spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy in order to investigate their structural and electrical properties. Root mean square roughness of nanocomposites was increased only 0.48nm after adding 20vol.% of fluorinated BaTiO<SUB>3</SUB> nanoparticles. Also, dielectric constant of nanocomposite was predicted and agreed well with experimental data through the modified Kerner model. Dielectric constant of PVdF-HFP nanocomposite was increased about 15 thorough an addition of 20vol.% of fluorinated BaTiO<SUB>3</SUB> nanoparticles. The application of near edge X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy of PVdF-HFP/fluorinated BaTiO<SUB>3</SUB> nanocomposites was presented.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Trifluoroacetic acid was used for the fluorination of BaTiO<SUB>3</SUB> nanoparticles. </LI> <LI> Polymer nano-composites were prepared with fluorinated nanoparticles. </LI> <LI> Roughness of composite was relieved by 40 times compared without fluorination. </LI> <LI> Dielectric constant of composites was almost the same with the calculated one. </LI> </UL> </P>

UNIX 운영체제가 널리 보급됨에 따라 UNIX를 기반으로 하는 데이타베이스 관리체제의 개발이 요청되고 있다. 그러나, 국내에서는 아직도 데이타베이스관리체제를 독자적으로 설계하여 개발해 본 경험이 매우 부족한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 UNIX를 기반으로 하여 높은 성능을 갖는 데이타베이스관리체제의 프로토타입을 설계하고 개발하였다. 이 데이타베이스관리체제는 데이타베이스 언어로 SQL을 제공하며 동시성 제어와 회복 기능을 제공한다.
