The Mayer-Rokitansky-Ku¨ster-Hauser syndrome also known as the term “congenital absence of the vagina” refers that condition which presents : (a) primary amenorrhea. (b) partial or complete vaginal absence, (c) a spectrum of uterine abnormalities, (d) skeletal, renal and other anomalies, (e) normal female secondary characteristics and appearance, and (f) 46, ⅩⅩ karyotype. A case of Mayer-Rokitansky-Ku¨ster-Hauser syndrome associated with ovarian serous cystadenoma was presented and the literatures were reviewed briefly.

The overuse of chloramphenicol (CAP) in food or medicine may have negative health effects on both humans and animals. Therefore, the fast and reliable detection of CAP is highly important in foodstuff and water samples at trace levels. Notably, graphitic carbon nitride/manganese tungstate (g-C<sub>3</sub>N<sub>4</sub>/MnWO<sub>4</sub>) composites could be used as an electro-catalyst for the detection of CAP. The synergistic effect of unique g-C<sub>3</sub>N<sub>4</sub> structure combined with anti-interference characteristics of MnWO4 promotes the facilitation of rapid electron transfer pathways. Thus, the active sites of g-C<sub>3</sub>N<sub>4</sub>/MnWO<sub>4</sub> composite in close contact with the electrolyte significantly reduces the overpotential with excellent electro-chemical sensing performance. The differential pulse voltammetry current of g-C<sub>3</sub>N<sub>4</sub>/MnWO<sub>4</sub> exhibited a linear CAP detection range of 4.0-94 pM and an ultralow detection limit of 0.13 pM. This nanomaterial could be used for sensing applications in environmental settings.
