        To ex amine water quality in streams of Chonan watershed, surveys were conducted in August and November of 1998. Water quality data were collected from Environmental Center for Chonan city from Jan. 1995 to Dec. 1997. The existing data and newly established data were stored in the same format in order to utilize in GIS based ArcView. A system for water quality management were constructed through the present study. The system will provide fast access to information for pollution sources and help exchange and distribute of environment-related data to users using CD and floppy diskette.

        『역학서언易學緖言』의 성서成書 과정 연구 ― 가장본家藏本을 중심으로

        이본 연구는 새롭게 연구 자료로 제공된 가장본 『역학서언』을 중심으로 현재까지의 판본 및 필사본들을 비교하여, 제작의 선후와 필사의 경위 및 정고본의 여부 등을 판단하기 위해 작성된 글이다. 『역학서언』(1822)은 총 4책 12권 21편으로 최종 완성된 책으로, 1차적으로 『주역사전』 무진본(1808)의 성서 시기와 비슷한 시기에 12권 체재로 완성되었는데, 당시의 편목은 현재의 책과는 약간의 차이가 있고, 적어도 4편은 1820년과 1821년에 추가로 저술된 것으로 추정된다. 가장본의 성서 시기와 그 가치 및 위상에 대해 아래와 같이 정리할 수있을 것이다. 가장본은 규장본과 필사의 형식과 판형의 행수, 자수 등에 있어 완전동일하다. 문자의 출입과 행의 누락 등은 필사의 과정에서 나타나는 일반적인 현상이니, 이런 차이를 제외하면 형식면에서는 완전히 같은 책이라고 할 수 있다. 이것은 츠쿠바대본과 버클리본과도 동일하다. 그러나 규장본은 가장본과 필사의 규모와 형식이 동일하고, 대부분가장본의 교정 지시가 반영된 상태로 필사되어 있지만, 가장본의 교정지시가 반영되지 않은 것이 있다. 게다가 가장본은 주필朱筆로 정약용이 직접 교정한 내용들이 있다. 반면에 가장본에서 교정 지시된 문자들은 그대로 신조본에 반영되어있다. 신조본은 가장본의 삭제 지시된 문자들이 사라지고, 두주에 부기된 문자와 여백에 부기된 문자 등도 가장본의 교정대로 수정되어 있다. 종합하자면, 가장본의 교정 사항이 일차 반영된 규장본이 동시에 존재하였으나 다른 경로로 유전되었고, 가장본에는 추가적인 교정이 가해진 것으로 추정된다. 가장본은 분명 현재 확인할 수 있는 여러 다른본들에 선행하는 본으로서, 정약용의 직접 교정 또는 그의 지시에 의한교정의 자취를 확인할 수 있는 본이다. 교정 이전의 가장본은 현재로서는 가장 이른 시기의 필사본이며, 교정 표시와 교정 문자가 있는 상태로도 현재로서는 가장 이른 시기의 본이라고 하겠다. This paper was written to determine the predecessor of the manuscript, the history of transcription, and the existence of the original or finalized text by comparing the versions unearthed so far, focusing on the newly provided manuscript of Yeokhak Seo-eon in Collections handed down at home. Yeokhak Seoeon(易學緖言, Collection of Critical Essays on Yi Studies, 1822) is a total of 21 books in 12 volumes. It was primarily completed in 12 volumes at the same time as the publication period of Juyeok Sajeon(周易四箋, Four Methods of Exposition on the Zhouyi, 1808). There seems to be a slight difference from the current book, and it is estimated that at least four books were added in 1820 and 1821. The manuscript period of Yeokhak Seoeon in Collections handed down at home and its value and status can be summarized as follows. That one before proofreading is completely the same in the form of manuscript of Gyujanggak’s collection and transcription, the number of rows in a page and the number of alphabets in a row. The entry and exit of characters and the omission of lines are common phenomena that appear in the process of transcription, so they can be said to be completely the same book except for these differences. This is the same as the collected manuscript in Zhukuba University and the collected manuscript in Berkeley University. In addition, there are contents directly edited by Jeong Yak-yong in Collections handed down at home as red color(朱筆). The manuscript of Gyujanggak’s collection is edited with the same size and format as that one in manuscripts handed down at home, and most of it reflects correction instructions of manuscripts handed down at home, but there are some that did not reflect them. On the other hand, the letters indicated for its correction are reflected in the book in print of Shinjoseonsa as they are. In the text in print of Shinjoseonsa, the characters instructed to be deleted by its correction have disappeared, and the characters added in the head notes and the characters added in the row blank have been revised according to its correction. To sum up, it is presumed that the Gyujanggak’s manuscript text in which that its corrections were first reflected existed at the same time, but it was inherited through a different path, and additional corrections were applied to the manuscript handed down at home. It is clearly a book that precedes several other versions that are currently available, and is a book that can confirm the traces of Jeong Yak-yong’s direct proofreading or his instructions. That before proofreading is currently the earliest version of the manuscript, and even with proofreading marks and proofreading letters, it can be said to be the earliest version of the manuscript.

        WAPS / EUTRO5 모델링 시스템을 이용한 연안역 개발에 따른 향후 수질예측 및 관리사례

        EPA`s WASP/EUTRO5 modeling framework was applied to assess water quality problems of Maryland Coastal Bays, which were developing rapidly in areas adjacent to Ocean City and are an area of concern due to the potential effects of such development and resulting landuse changes on environmental quality. The model was utilized to determine subwatersheds that most impact water quality conditions in the bays and contribute to the eutrophication problem in receiving waters. Model results were used to develop nutrient budgets for the study area. The analysis of the results shows that nutrient release from the sediment is the single most important nutrient source. Further, projected landuse was used in the model to determine water quality impacts from the future land use changes in 2005. According to model simulations, only a small reduction in total chlorophyll a from the present condition was expected due to the reduction of nutrient loads.

        천안/아산권역내 곡교천의 수질분석 및 지리정보체계를 이용한 유역 오염원 관리방안에 관한 연구

        Chonan and Asan city have been a focal point due to rapid development as the first station for Express Railroad and key cities West Coast Development Region. Gokgyo stream adjacent to the cities plays an important role as a drainage channel for an agriculture and a discharger of urban storm water. Water quality of the stream has been deteriorating caused by pollution sources such as a untreated wastewater discharge and runoff from the watershed. In this study, we conducted 4 surveys in April, May, July, and September to understand the current state of water quality for the stream and to make it possibe to predict future water-quality variation for future development. The system runs on a personal computer under the windows enviroment and provides extensive graphics using graphic user interface(GUI) for user-friendly assessment. Using the pull-down menus provided by the GUI panel, the user is able to operate the system by pointing and clicking the icon to identify the state of water-quality at locations concerned. Furthermore, we developed an integrated watershed management system. The constructed system could be a useful tool as a decesion maker for pollution source control strategy.
