Heaters using the resistance heating principle are used in various industrial fields that require heat and are also essentially used in bidet among small home appliances. A planar heater and a coil-inserted heater mounted on a conventional commercially used bidet have disadvantages and limitations of complicated manufacturing process and local heating. In this study, silver-palladium (Ag-Pd) powder material was used for a screen-printing process that is more advantageous in achieving simplification than the existing process, and a rod-type heater for bidet was manufactured. The on-off cycle test under actual conditions was conducted to confirm the durability and the capability of the fabricated heater, and the fabricated heater operated more than 2,600 on-off cycles, which means it could be applied for a commercial product. In addition, through the on-off cycles under harsh conditions, the cause of failure was identified after the test that the durability limit temperature of the heater was 850℃. Through Ag-Pd rod heater in this study, it is expected to contribute to the efficient development of electrode materials for heaters and the improvement of the durability of heaters in the future.

Recently, active research has been conducted to enhance the power characteristics and thermal stability of lithiumion batteries (LiBs) by modifying separators using a ceramic coating method. However, since the thermal properties and surface features of the separator vary depending on the characteristics of the ceramic powders applied to the separator, it is crucial to manufacture ceramic powders optimized for the separator’s performance. In this study, we evaluated the characteristics of three types of α-alumina (A-1, A-2, and A-3) produced with varying dispersant contents and milling times, in addition to commercial α-alumina (AES-11). Subsequently, the optimized powders (A-3) were coated onto the separator using an aqueous binder for comparison with the characteristics of an AES-11 coated separator and an uncoated PE separator. The A-3 coated separator improved electrolyte wettability with a low contact angle (44.69°) and increased puncture strength (538 gf). Furthermore, it exhibited excellent thermal stability, with a shrinkage value of 5.64% when exposed to 140℃ for 1 hour, compared to the AES-11 coated separator (6.09%) and the bare PE separator (69.64%).

국가 사이버보안 수준 향상을 위한 GCI의 지표개선 방안

The Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) developed by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is used to diagnose a country's cybersecurity development level and to strengthen its cybersecurity capabilities. This paper analyzes GCI and tries to suggest a way to strengthen its effectiveness. In addition, we analyze the GCI version 1~GCI version 4 evaluation index in advance, and examine the development plan through SWOT analysis. Through this, basic principles for GCI improvement and utilization will be established, and new indicators related to the GCI version 5 questionnaire will be discovered and suggested. This paper is expected to be used as basic data for GCI performance analysis and improvement plan. In addition, it is intended to contribute to enhance the effectiveness of GCI and the nation's cybersecurity capabilities by proposing more advanced proactive and reactive indicators to be applied to the future GCI evaluations. This paper is an improvement and development for the research result of [1].
