한유진,김준식,김재희,Yujin Han,Junsik Kim,Jaehee Kim 한국통계학회 2024 응용통계연구 Vol.37 No.2
This study performed a multi-classification task to classify mesial temporal lobe epilepsy with left hippocampal sclerosis patients (left mTLE), mesial temporal lobe epilepsy with right hippocampal sclerosis (right mTLE), and healthy controls (HC) using magnetoencephalography (MEG) data. We applied various artificial neural networks and compared the results. As a result of modeling with convolutional neural networks (CNN), recurrent neural networks (RNN), and graph neural networks (GNN), the average k-fold accuracy was excellent in the order of CNN-based model, GNN-based model, and RNN-based model. The wall time was excellent in the order of RNN-based model, GNN-based model, and CNN-based model. The graph neural network, which shows good figures in accuracy, performance, and time, and has excellent scalability of network data, is the most suitable model for brain research in the future.

Objectives : This study aims to investigate the current situation of domestic patents in Korea on natural products and to provide directions for developing and applying herbal medicinal products by in-depth analyses. Methods : Combinations of words, such as "A61K" or "A61P", "herb" or "Korean medicinal herb" or "Korean medicine" or "traditional" or "natural" or "$botanic^*$" or "China", and "medicine" or "treatment" or "prevention" or "improvement", were used to search patents in the World Intellectual Property Service (WIPS) database. Three methods were applied to analyze natural products patents. First, the number of patent registrations was sorted by year. Second, the assignees were analyzed by count and country of origin. Finally, cluster map analysis was conducted to explore frequently emerging words in natural products and the relationship amongst those words to treat corresponding diseases/technologies. Results : Results showed that, first, the total number of patents had been increasing. Among the patents, 76.4% were registered by domestic institutes/companies, and 23.6% by foreign institutes/companies. Second, USA, Japan, and China possess a considerable number of Korean patents and, therefore, domestic institutes/companies can seek joint technological development opportunities with their counterparts from those countries in the future. Finally, a total of four clusters were identified by cluster map analysis. Each of the clusters includes natural products related to diseases involving skin, aging, and blood sugar, as well as adult diseases. Conclusions : In this study, natural products patents registered in the Korean Intellectual Property Office were analyzed. The analyses results showed the kinds of natural products that had been employed for the treatment of certain diseases. However, natural products included in existing patents were minimal given that 4,174 species of indigenous plants are found in Korea. Thus, Korean institutes/companies should utilize unexplored plants to develop more value-added drugs.
Carrageenan 유발염증에 대한 15Hz 전침의 효과에 대한 연구
한유진,이용태,장경전,Han, You-jin,Lee, Yong-tae,Jang, Kyung-jeon 대한침구의학회 2003 대한침구의학회지 Vol.20 No.3
Objective : The aim of this study is to investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of 15Hz electroacupuncture(EA) on carrageenan-injected rats. Inflammation was induced by an intraplantar injection of 1% carrageenan into the right hind paw. Methods : Bilateral EA stimulation with 15 Hz were delivered at those acupoints corresponding to Zusanli and Sanyinjiao in man via the needles for a total of 30 min duration in carrageenan-injected rats. Results: The developing edema was measured 30 minutes interval afer carrageenan injection and 15 Hz EA stimulation presented significant edema inhibition. Three hours after carrageenan injection, prostaglandin $E_2(PGE_2)$ and nitric oxide(NO) levels were measured. The 15Hz EA stimulation significantly inhibited $PGE_2$ and NO production in the right paw. The pro-inflammatory mRNA expression such as cyclooxygenases(COX)-2 and interleukin(IL)-$1{\beta}$ were slightly down-regulated by EA stimulation. The number of COX-2, IL-$1{\beta}$, tumor necrosis factor-${\alpha}$ immunoreactive cells were abundantly observed in paw edema. But these cells were decreased in nmber according to anti-edema effect of 15Hz EA. Conclusions: These results indicate that 15Hz EA stimulation have an alleviation action against carrageenan-induced edema and local inflammation.

This study investigated husbands’ structure of assaulting their wives sexually due to unbalanced hierarchy between couples through their orders and their wives’ acts to respond to them targeting 53 tales that feature surrogate fathers collected in the Collection of Korean Oral Literature. At this moment, the husbands’ ‘orders of the surrogate fathers’ delivered to their wives and ‘their acts’ to respond to it are shown in many different forms. First, when the husband’s orders are shown in a form of ‘sleeping together secretly’ and ‘non-verbal behaviors’, their wives’ ‘voices were deleted’ in the Narratives. Real intention of wives’ voices lost in the narratives is ‘silence by resignation’ or ‘intention of refusal’ ignored by their husbands and deliberately omitted by narrators. Second, when husbands unilaterally notify their wives of decisions of surrogate fathers, they are ‘obedient’ to them. The wives’ obedience to their husbands’ words is ‘adaptation due to threats that they will be faced with unless they will not approve’ or ‘their consent based on sex roles.’ Third, when wives ‘actively carry out their husbands’ orders of surrogate fathers’, wives ‘sleep together with men of surrogate fathers by tempting them’ by pressure of their husbands who stubbornly demand sleeping with other men. Or wives directly decide and sleep with surrogate fathers by ‘excessively reflecting’ their husbands’ worries about succession in themselves.

In an era of uncertainty in the tourism and hospitality industry, hotels should inevitably provide their unique value attached to their space. In this circumstance, global hospitality groups have been creating lifestyle brands in line with the latest trend. Even with the rapid growth of lifestyle brands, the concept of lifestyle hotels is still vague. Besides, lifestyle hotels, especially in South Korea, tend to be developed as multi-purpose complexes combined with retail. Therefore, lifestyle hotel experiences should be studied with broader perspectives, not solely focusing on its primary function of staying. This study aims to identify factors of lifestyle hotels by analyzing user-created content on Social Media. This research examined images and hashtags on an image-based social media: Instagram. Departing from investigating lifestyle hotel brands in South Korea based on 12,913 hashtags and 565 location analysis of 4,242 lifestyle hotel posts, the contents related to three lifestyle hotels(Hotel Cappuccino, L7, and GLAD) were analyzed. For this, a web crawler was developed with Python. A total of 84,585 hashtags and 52,707 images were analyzed using Vision AI to explore the crucial factors. The results demonstrated that design, facilities, setting, and service factors are the most influential in lifestyle hotels. Also, the lifestyle segment reflects the latest lifestyle and hospitality trends. Based on these results, this study suggests the five main categories of factors for future research: design, facilities, setting, service, and trend. Moreover, this research suggests broader uses of big data and deep learning for deriving the factors that influence the perception and evaluation of hotel spaces.
