고령에서의 요골 원위부 골절의 T형 금속판을 이용한 치료

Recently, distal radius fractures are recognized as very complex injuries with a variable prognosis according to the fracture type and the treatment. Especially, there are several problems, including joint stiffness and skin necrosis due to a long term immobilization, radial shortening and collapse due to the loss of reduction in the elderly. Thus, the anatomical reduction and rigid internal fixation and early rehabilitation were recommanded. We analyzed ]6 patients with distal radius fractures in the elderly, who were treated with open reduction and internal fixation with T-plate from January, 1991 to June, 1997 and were followed up for more than 12 months. The results were as follows; 1. According to the Fernandez classification, 3 cases were type I, 3 cases were type II, 7 cases were type III, 1 case was type IV and 2 cases were type V. 2. As complications, there were 2 cases of arthritic change, 3 cases of radial shortening, and I case of screw loosening. 3. Anatomically satisfactory results were obtained in 75%(12 cases). 4. Functionally and clinically satisfactory results were obtained in 87%(14 cases). 5. In the treatment of distal radius fractures in the elderly, three dimensional structure and recovery of joint congruency were related to the clinical prognosis.
반응성 직류마그네트론 스퍼터링에 의한 ITO박막 형성에 관한 연구

The material that is both conductive in electricity and transparent to the visible ray is called transparent conducting thin film. It has many fields of application such as Solar Cell, Liquid Crystal display, Vidicon on T.V, transparent electrical heater, selective optical filter, and a optical electric device , etc. In the recent papers on several TCO( transparent conducting oxide ) material, the study is mainly focusing on ITO(indium tin oxide) because ITO shows good results on both optical and electrical properties. Nowaday, in the development of LCD(Liquid Crystal display), the low temperature process to reduce the production cost and to deposit ITO on polymer substrate (or low melting substrate) has been demanded. In this study, we prepared indium tin oxide(ITO) by a cylindrical DC magnetron sputtering with Indium-tin (9:1) alloy target instead of indium-tin oxide target. The resistivity of the film deposited in oxygen partial pressure of 5% and substrate temperature of 140.deg. C. is 1.6*10$\^$-4/.ohm..cm with 85% optical transmission in viaible ray.

To develope a high precision TiAIN thin film resistor, TiAIN films were deposited on A1$_{2}$03 substrates by reactive planar magnetron cosputtering from Ti and Al targets in an Ar-N$_{2}$ atmosphere. The characteristics of the TiAIN thin film were controlled by changing of the R.F. power on Ti and Al targets, and the N$_{2}$ partial pressure. The high precision TiAIN thin film resistor with TCR(Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) of less than 10ppm/.deg. C was obtained under the R.F. power condition of 160(w)/240(w) to Ti and Al targets at the N$_{2}$ partial pressure of 7*10$^{-5}$ Torr. The composition of these films were investigated by XRD, SEM and EDS.

Avulsion fractures of the calcaneal tuberosity are rare injuries in extraarticular fractures of the calcaneus and were resulted from a separation of a shell of the posterior portion of the os calcis due to the pull of the Achilles tendon. Importance of anatomic reduction for the restoration of functional length of Achilles tendon were emphasized by many authors in the treatment of the fractures. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the results of operative treatment in avulsion fractures of the calcaneal tuberosity and to analyse the results in accordance with various prognostic factors. This article has reviewed a series of 6 avulsion fractures of calcaneal tuberosity, treated from March 1991 to November 1996. The results were as follows; l. In case of avulsion fracture of os calcaneus, open reduction and internal fixation was needed for the accurate anatomical reduction and maintenance of firm internal fixation. 2. The method of operative treatment was not significant influencing factor on the treatment result, however, it is more convenient to fix when cannulated screws were used because of the compressive effect on the fracture site. 3. Complications included superficial skin necrosis in one case, which resulted from the compression of bony fragment in case of avulsion fracture and another, wire fixation failure because of bone resorption resulted from wide soft tissue dissection.
