시거리에 따른 고층집합주택 외벽 색채 특성에 관한 연구

This study assumes that though buildings have identical color of the outer walls, their colors and images make the difference according to neighboring environmental factors and visual range. Based on the assumption, it carries a quantitative analysis of physical and image difference, targeting colors of the outer walls of high-rise apartment buildings within apartment complex. As a result, it is identified that the outer colors of the buildings on the streetside of high-rise residential complexes are significantly different according to neighboring environmental factors and viewers' visual range. And, it is suggested that in planning colors of outer wall, colors should be arranged in consideration of color difference according to visual range.

고층집합주택 외벽 색채가 가로경관에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

This study examined the effect of the main color of apartment building as background color on the preference for residential streetscape in the relation with surrounding environment of streetscape with its focus on the color of apartment building outer wall. To research a visual evaluation structure, this study aimed to understand its characteristics through quantitative assay and to provide more scientific and specific data about improvement direction. The results suggested that the current brightness and chroma of main color of apartment building was high and low respectively which was advisable. On the other hand, in the color, when the components of the whole streetscape included buildings or soundproofing walls, a streetscape image needed to be improved though the color scheme of 4-distance color difference.

아파트 외장색채의 변화 특성에 관한 연구 : 광주광역시 아파트 외장색채 변화추이에 대한 분석

Considering Gwangju City, the spatial sphere of this study(on the characteristics of changes in apartment exterior color), has beautiful natural scenery, surrounded by background mountains like folding screens, as well as historical cultural resources such as Confucian Academy, old houses, etc., it is thought from researcher's view that the exterior color of apartments studded throughout the city should be considered important in the aspect of the local sentiment and scenery color of the South more than other cities. Thus this study recognizes the need of research on a color palette which will be used as a design material of apartment exterior color in Gwangju. For the first research, the purpose of this study is to analyze and understand the present state of apartment exterior color and the changes in distribution after considering problems of apartment exterior color by period. The study on the apartment exterior color in Gwangju consists of five stages as shown Fig.1. Chapter 1 and 2 of this study will be focused on the analysis and under standing of the changes in color by period of Stage 1. First, Chapter 1 of Stage I will examine the characteristics(H V/C) and the present state of the exterior color of apartments constructed during the 1990s on the basis of the results of previous researches. Second, Chapter 2 will analyze the exterior color of apartments constructed in 2003 in the aspect of the colorimetry and analysis by the present state and the changes in color by period.

Since the aspects of the colors of exterior decoration for our buildings have been considered as the area carried out by the sense and institution of a designer, it has resulted in a visual chaos and mostly painted with monotonous and dim colors such as gray and pale yellow for their exterior decorations. The primary color roofs we can easily see in the improved village struture of our farming and fishing village and the improvement of house and other low leveled environment of our country. And the apartments which will be extended to our local areas without considering the direction of colors should not repeat many evils on the urban beauty and so this study is to provide the basic materials for scientific and systematic color planning and design.

Visual and perceptual expression which has been considered as the area of sensory and psychological mysticism is recognized as an important factor to be treated in the type of building by today's scientific systems, perceptual researchers and architectural theorists and more positive and concrete research of it is required. Accordingly, this study aims at seeking the qualitative improvement of exterior of building through the pattern analysis of structure with the object of university libraries and suggesting the basic data and direction which can be a guide in planning university library in future by examining the physical characteristics of perceptual and cognitive sides related to pattern property of building. This research seeks the orientation of research through the survey of literatures related and extracts the pattern components of building through classification and analysis of exterior of building. In addition, it extracts the physical and psychological amount of perceptual and cognitive dimension of pattern characteristics of building by means of meaning analysis measurement with the object of actual library users, reveals the correlation of related variables and makes it the standard of evaluating the exterior image of university library by users.

This study refers to the materials of existing papers published, arranges them, examines systematically the characteristics of windows and doors of temples in Korean traditional architectures, collects the materials required through literatures, existing plans and field survey, makes the figures obtained based on the materials into the tables and then compares and reviews the results. All kinds of historical divisions of architectural buildings which were accepted as the subjects of this study are only for reference. This study treats the comprehensive things from very primitive private houses to palace architecture and temple architecture from the view point of traditionality, examines their correlations and deals with centrally the temple architectures. Furthermore, the bibliographies which treat the division of external patterns and names of windows and doors and the basic materials of the artistic aspects deeply are very insuffient and further researches about these shall be carried out. So this study is to reveal the characteristics of windows and doors of Korean traditional architecture from the artistic point of view, to pursue its value and the right understanding of our traditional construction.
